So sad! It looks as if she had hydrocephalus or her soft spots closed up and caused the bulging and pressure. My mom has hydrocephalus and my little cousins soft spot closed up when she was a few months old. Her head was large just like this little baby. She had to have brain surgery.

@94ilovedem Thats a feeding tube. Due to whatever medical condition she had, she could not suck/swallow/and breath to take bottle or breast this is the most common reason for them or it could have been digestive problem she had.

I am a NICU nurse, and unfortunately see families loose their babies far too often. It makes me happy to see that you were able to make such beautiful memories with your daughter, and am sure you will always cherish them. To all those out there that feel like this family did something wrong by making these memories, imagine if all you had was a few months with your child. Never take a day for granted, because some people don't even get that with their children, never be ashamed to make memories.

I had time with my child ( 7 months), and I certainly did not have time to get my hair, nails, nor make sure my makeup was correct. And I certainly did not dress my child up like a show poodle! I would think that it would be a stress on the baby to get stuffed in to those clothes. And I never thought to take pictures, too busy trying to keep my son alive. We did not have cell phones for video back then. Just saying, Mom is a diva. Glad that they named her. Sorry that she had to put up with it.

My son was born Febuary 21,2010..I had preclampsyia and he was born 2 months early and was in Nicu for 5 weeks..We both almost didnt make it..I am so sorry for your loss!! She was a beautiful lil girl!!

guess the person who made that comment has never had such a sick child... when you and your child or in my case children/twins lived in and out of the hospital for weeks at a time the nurses want to to take care of YOUR child and dress them as you would at home if they can be, bring their toys,blankets anything that makes mom and or dad more comfortable....makes even the smallest patient do better...and until you have lost a child how dare you tell another how to greve

correct me anyone if i am wrong, but generally it enlarges the skull/brain.

@nluvwithlayne07 yes it does look like Hydrocephalus. my cousin and brother both have it. my cousin is worse then my brother and my cousin has to get a Shunt put in his head every year I think. it used to be a lot when he was little because of all the fluid that was in their. my little brother and cousin had to wear a "helmet" at all time because if they hit their head on anything it would Kill them on inpact. it is a sad thing for a baby to be born with but it does happen.

I am a NICU nurse, and unfortunately see families loose their babies far too often. It makes me happy to see that you were able to make such beautiful memories with your daughter, and am sure you will always cherish them. To all those out there that feel like this family did something wrong by making these memories, imagine if all you had was a few months with your child. Never take a day for granted, because some people don't even get that with their children, never be ashamed to make memories.

I had time with my child ( 7 months), and I certainly did not have time to get my hair, nails, nor make sure my makeup was correct. And I certainly did not dress my child up like a show poodle! I would think that it would be a stress on the baby to get stuffed in to those clothes. And I never thought to take pictures, too busy trying to keep my son alive. We did not have cell phones for video back then. Just saying, Mom is a diva. Glad that they named her. Sorry that she had to put up with it.
