When I first heard this song at the age of 18 in 1985..I was actually in jazz band going to a concert in the mountains in az, in wintertime..I listened to this on headphones. And my life changed forever. It was surreal. And amazing.
i know what u feel..im 18 now and heard this track today with headphones too..it is so..unhuman..just amazing..cant find words for this..music from another world
@InfinityProjectPromo .... I understand you so well, sometimes throught out my life I thought Jean Michel actually is an alien from outer space...or is it just the fact that a human being can be so AMAZING!????
@timothyj67 thats very similar to my introduction to JMJ. It was 1987, I was 15 and on a school trip to North Wales in the UK. My mate had lent me his sony walkman, with Zoolook. I first heard the haunting beginnings of Ethnicolor Part 1 as the school coach was driving through the mist shrouded and erie mountains of Snowdonia. Just like you, my life changed forever :) Its actually in my will that when I die Ethnicolor Part 1 (the original full version) has to be played at my funeral service !!
@oxygene65 Me too. I was a year younger. I'd had some mushrooms too! I was at a friends house (his parents had gone out) and he said 'do you want to listen to some weird music'. I've got to say that event changed my life - I got into the actual playing of synths and keyboards for a while before turning to piano. today I'm back into synths, but with no mushrooms this time - that part of my life is long gone.
