DO NOT BY THE OVERDRIVE!!! IT IS THE NEWEST RIP-OFF BY SPRINT!!! What the representatives will fail to tell you is that you ONLY get 5 gigabytes of usage a MONTH!!! And if you go over 5 gigabytes a month, they will CHARGE YOU 7 CENTS PER KILOBYTE!!! So if you watch a lot of videos on youtube, or purchase a program online, or do a lot of downloading, you will use up the 5 gigabytes in no time flat!!! The OVERDRIVE is only good for LOOKING AT WEB PAGES. NOTHING ELSE.
I spent a week with it not working well after it started out so good. I called Sprint they said they would send someone out to check the tower near my house. Afew days later it was fine and has been for the last 10 days or so. It can be a tiny bit spotty but I assume as more 4G towers go up it'll be fine. I can use it on all 3 floors of the house so as of now I'm ok with it.
I went back to Best Buy and got a second Overdrive. Hoping that I had a dud.The sales guy checked it out using my itouch and macbook pro. We had 4 bars up on the 4g network. Here's is what happened, down loading email is fine, talking on Skype is pretty good, down loading Sirius is average. About 3 pauses per song for 3 seconds, and lastly which is the show stopper... it could not down load any video from youtube.This second devise was useless with video streaming.I'm out on this, back it goes.

Again I only get 2 bars in the house and that sucks but it's that way with my phone for the most part as well so thats kind of normal. I've done some downloading at the Playstation online store and thats gone very well. Much better than the 3g i had been using. I guess the best thing to say to people is give it a shot...you have 30days to take it back. But no usage cap is worth it alone.

Youtube videos that are 3 minutes long are taking about 7 minutes to play and when I'm in Sirious radio it is in "Buffering" about 1/4 of the time. It is also loosing it's signal to my itouch fairly frequently. I'm really bummed. I'm going to take it to work and see if I can get more bars there. Well see...
Really? I'm not getting very many bars where I am and my overdrive has no issues with You Tube at all. Mine has been pretty fast. Much faster downloads than the 3g card I was using. Only semi disappointment is with the PS3 it's about the same with game play but the downloads of things were a lot faster. Give it another day. With the unlimted data usage it's worth keep for that alone.
OK.... An hour or so with this and heres what I come up with in that short amount of time. Yep...it's fast... very fast for that matter. I did have some connection issues when I first went to use it as well when I first hooked up my PS3 but after a few tries it hooked up well. Could be that this is all so new. I did have 2 drops and it switched to 3g. Needless to say I didn't like that but once I rebooted it went right back to 4g. Again this has only been out less than a week but it has promise.
I just got this and it seems to work pretty well. I can't say as of this moment it's a LOT faster than my 3g but I heard it depends on where you are. It's simple to set up you really don't do anything it does it all on it's on. I going to see about hooking it up to my PS3 and I'll leave another comment but as of right now it seems pretty cool.

Can't connect to a VPN with this device. Sprint confirmed this, and has no solution.
Shame, because I really liked it, but that's a deal killer for me.
