Thegarmendia Hey you ever heard this one its in every Bible!,go read it,God could not stay with Jesus in his final breathe because Jesus was bearing all sins!,and who can't be near sin or even look or touch it? God!!Bingo!!so Jesus and God could not be one or all three I'm already confused haha.XD There are so many other reasons why the Trinity is a load of ridiculous indoctrination! That's not logical its just Common sense!.
Kingserver4 A liar is a liar, will never admit it!, and always will be,Because of the fact of never admitting it. They can fool the ignorant and will mislead many. We all know how Jehovah feels about this,so let him handle it when the time comes.
I am not yet a JW but an Ex Gilead missionary you were? were you really?..wow I guess Jehovah saw what was really in your heart and maybe that why you did not progress further in his organization, do you still know that song "young man and young woman do give your hearts to me, my foe who now taunts me will then be made to see."..?? yes it Be wise my son and make my heart rejoice, in your case i guess you have made Jehovah's foe successful, it sad and true but I do hope you realize ONE DAY
@ArenJames Nice responce Aren ExGilead Missionary is not being tottaly honest. For instance he claims that he was invited to Gilead but did not know about 'Miracle' wheat. Hard to believe if you a candidate for Gilead. The previous few comments on this post are very insightful as most are disfellowship for desires of the flesh. Yet a vast majority of disfellowshipped claim that they were disfellowshipped for "being enlightened" :) Unfortunatley arrogance causes them to respond this way
Correct me if I'm wrong but if you went to Gilead you had to me married. Excuse me if is too personal question but what happend to your wife? Did she also left JW?
Keep making videos dude! Your pure (for lack of a better word) intentions really come across, and it is very comforting for someone struggling with doubts and inconsistencies in their belief system. It took me a looong 5 years to get my head past the twisted, circular logic of the JW's, but now that I have, I am so free: free to live, love, and enjoy life... And it was in large part to your life story and videos. Thank you.
I was talking with my friend who is a JW and I was talking about the trinity. We were not arguing it but simply disguising it. He then told me something that was not right. He said "The reason God and Jesus are not the same can basically be explained by logic. We JW's follow the bible because we use logic on subjects like the trinity." Since when is god bound by the logic of man, and how can a man figure God out using his logic? Its not possible and God is not bound by our logic or laws.
MY bible says: John 4.3: Be aware there are ass fuckers out there, unbeknown to him they comes forth out of the Catholic Church.I sayeth unto you behold the catholic ass fucker is amongst you.
@ExGileadMissionary Sorry you feel that way. But I can't find any religion that accurately live and teach the bible principles, without any pegan doctrines in them. Maybe you could name one religious group that doesn't. Contridict the Scriptures.
@Dcdatruth85 Well, as you can see from my 7 part series, there are many things that JWs teach that contradict the Bible. But additionally, the Bible itself is a seriously flawed book.
@ExGileadMissionary and again I am sorry you feel that way, but to me "all scriptures are inspired of God" so I. Know your mind is made up, but Jehovah still loves you, and knows your heart. I hope, no I pray you can come back before its too late.
@Dcdatruth85 If a religion is false, staying in only because it looks good from the outside is dangerous. Your salvation is on the line, are you sure you want to follow the least rotten religion, just because it's the least rotten? The statements like that always just makes me go "huh?
@Dcdatruth85 I read your exchange with the poster, and while I agree that the JW's probably are the best intentioned, most devout people, with the best understanding and explanations/interpretations of scripture, that still doesn't make it them right--especially in the light of testable, verifiable, and observable science. There is direct, physical evidence that the Flood never happened. Look for yourself. Even doubting Thomas would agree.
@ExGileadMissionary Everything you say about the WTS is lie and you know it. I'd like to know why you persist in yours lies, you know, I don't understand why you act that way. Repent of what you're doing.

@ExGileadMissionary I stopped studying with the JW's and became a Muslim. I have two brother that are completely taken by the JW's. My brothers are inherently good men, but they lack truth. They fight their point to the death and one of them don't even study. I love the fact that you mentioned in your video that people seeking knowledge would appreciate such information as yours. As a matter of fact brother, Jehova is not God's name. There is a debate on this site about how Jehova's... CONT
@ExGileadMissionary names came to be. If you indeed appreciate knowledge then do the research yourself about it. You will see that It is not real. I am not trying to break any spirits here or put anyone down. But when someone tells me that Jehova is God's name then I find a problem with that. You must understand that our language is not Hebrew. They never called God Jehova. If you have any questions, ask me, I'll do my best to answer them.
Who shall we go away to? To Jesus. But for expert commentaries, who do you like? I am on the fence. I love JWs neutrality, blood issue, non-Trinitarianism, no hellfire, no immortality of the soul. But hate 1914, 607 BCE, Rev. 1:10, faithful and discreet slave, and Jeremiah class, Thank you very very much for publishing your thoughts. I will be looking for more from you.
@ehollywood88 Would you eat a piece of candy that you found dirty in the gutter? It may be the best piece of candy that you know of on the block of street that you walk, but that does not make it good to eat. Be glad you see it is tainted and walk around.
look dude i hav some interesting points. But u should not lose faith because honestly have you ever seen anyother religion that follows the bible so closely. Think about it, almost every religion has a religious book but none really use them any of them or follow them. So with this info realize that you are in the truth. If you can find a better religion that actually makes sense follows just practices let people know...but my guess is you won't
@markmansell Noah preached many years before the end of that ungodly world came. We are truly anticipating the end of this current wicked system-REFER to 2 Peter 3:3-9. Many people won't take note and believe God will clean all wrongdoers out,but he will! Matthew 24:37-39 says they took no note and the flood came and swept them all away!Jehovah's Witnesses are indeed taking note, and helping as many people as we can to stand ready for the judgement by our Great God Jehovah! GET READY TOO!
@eternityandforever You do understand that "millions now living will never die" is a failed prophecy, don't you? Because obviously everyone died. They are no longer here. An organisation under God's direction would not make such false prophecies.
You guy's are still not free or you would not be on hear running down a non violent humble Organization. Live and Let Live . There are a lot more important things in life then trying to damage an already fragile mind. Please consider. Thank You.
@ExGileadMissionary what! have you not heard of the resurrection. was not Jesus new commands to love one another as he loved us by giving his life we should give ours for our brothers, how much more should we give our lives for Jehovah
hi i believe in jesus and jehovah, jehovahs witness' are very empowering to speak to so please explain to me what your arguement facts are in writing because im currently taking class' and i will bring up your arguements. i have found they can be bit pushy but so what if they push you closer to heaven on earth why hurt them, i think alot of what they say make sence but i think they have been currupted and arent ready for the mark of the beast yet and watch tower blinded them!
Ask yourself why am I doing this ? what am I offering these people? how can I help there lives ? whats in it for me ? then you tell me, what is a cult ? Thanks for your time.
@MariaSoGangsta Yes, while I was a JW I expressed my doubts to the secretary of Gilead, to a group of elders, and to a pioneer. I was told to suppress my doubts and read the bible more.
From Wikipedia, this is an excerpt from the Gospel of the FSM:
"I am the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Thou shalt have no other monsters before Me. (Afterwards is OK; just use protection.) The only Monster who deserves capitalization is Me! Other monsters are false monsters, undeserving of capitalization. -Suggestions 1:1"

(Cont.) As YOU MUST HAVE ALREADY KNOWN when you were still like a babe in the quest of finding the truth, JW's belief is like LIGHT GETTING BRIGHTER AND BRIGHTER. Before, JW's headquarter displayed a cross on their bldg. but when they later learned that it was unacceptable, THEY REMOVED IT. The good thing in this organization is that they do not stick with an idea if they found it unscriptural. They are always looking for what is right. (Zeph 2: 2, 3; John 17:3; )
@jasperkarat JW doctrines are not getting brighter, but rather dimmer and brighter and dimmer again. They make up the crap as they go. What do you think about the point this video is making?
@jasperkarat that is right they do not worshop the cross because God said not to worship man made things only worship god in truth....plus why would someone worship something that is made to kill people.
if jesus died by a sword would you carry a sword necklas around you?? i think not
So, your new religion is called the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. And your founder is Bobby Henderson who also wrote your holy book The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. And members like you are Pastafarians.
Does it mean "one who enjoys a fare of pasta"?
Anyway, I found all these info in the Wikipedia.
So anyone before you engage Mr. ex-Gilead candidate (he is not a missionary yet), first find out what his new religion is.
"The central belief is that an invisible and undetectable Flying Spaghetti Monster created the universe "after drinking heavily". According to these beliefs, the Monster's intoxication was the cause for a flawed Earth. Furthermore, according to Pastafarianism, all evidence for evolution was planted by the Flying Spaghetti Monster in an effort to test Pastafarians' faith—parodying certain biblical literalists.[28] When scientific measurements...
...such as radiocarbon dating are taken, the Flying Spaghetti Monster "is there changing the results with His Noodly Appendage".[7] The Pastafarian belief of Heaven contains a beer volcano and a stripper factory.[27] The Pastafarian Hell is similar, except that the beer is stale and the strippers have sexually transmitted diseases.[29]"
From Wikipedia, this is the statement from the FSM founder:
"With millions, if not thousands, of devout worshippers, the Church of the FSM is widely considered a legitimate religion, even by its opponents—mostly fundamentalist Christians, who have accepted that our God has larger balls than theirs. –Bobby Henderson[10]"
You know Mr. Ex? I guess you are similar to the ancient Israelites who complained and complained and murmured and murmured about things. I guess you already know that JW''s are not perfect people like the rest of the human beings. If they are mistaken about a certain idea or interpretation, it doesn't mean they are quite wrong. To become a true Christian, one needs to be HUMBLE. JW's belief s passed through a number or straining to obtain the truth like straining gold in a goldmine. (Contd)
Hello I am also an XJW and although I am shunned totally even though I am very very ill I have to be UBER honest I plan to never go back even though I 100% agreed why I was thrown out ."is this flesh human flesh" If you search out whats between the speech mrks this started me to question.
I am very interested WHAT if anything you have found IS THE TRUTH ??thankyou

I read the Bible and found that the Bible is so clear about purpose for the earth in genesis down to revelation hence there will be a future paradise earth. Your mind is troubled in your conclusion and perhaps you are unable to exercise deductive and /or inductive reasoning.

And every spirit that confesseth not that YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH is come in the flesh is not of YAHUVEH: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
in my opinion you are right, thecodyandrhettshow, jw's do have the best interpretation. what proof is there?? well just check out the book by bible scholar and professor Jason beDuhn - "TRUTH IN TRANSLATION" . Professor BeDuhn compared all the different bible translations used today and according to his research do you know which one is the most accurate ?? THE NEW WORLD TRANSLATION . Yes the Jehovah's Witnesses translation of the bible. So you are right about JW's bible
BeDuhn also stated in his book that the NWT was NOT free of bias, and that the use of the name Jehovah in the Greek scriptures was: "not accurate translation by the most basic principle of accuracy, and it violates accuracy in favor of denominationally preferred expressions for God".
Debuhn did not compare "all" of the translations, rather only 9 English translations, and he only compared 7 different passages.
In the book " truth in translation" by Professor Jason BeDuhn, he compares 9 translations commonly used today. All in all the New World Translation is shown to be the most accurate . This book exposes the other translations as bias , in order to prove false doctrines such as the trinity. Psuedo Christians hate this book and what it says. They hate the fact that it shows the NWT as most accurate. The truth always comes out !!!!
@niterider1914 Part 1 Actually, your thesis is incorrect. As I posted verbatim the quote by JB that the NWT is not bias free. Also, he states that the use of the name Jehovah in the NT is not accurate. Please re-read my original posts. Have you you read the book? It appears that you have not. Here are the verses comapred: 1. Matthew 28:9 2. Phillipians 2:6 3. John 1:1 4. John 8:58 5. Heb 1:8 6. Col 1:15-20 7. Titus 2:13 Harldly a drop in the bucket.
The book does not expose the others as bias, as that was not his objecticve, rather it was to look for where bias appeard in the 7 controversial texts in the 9 translations.
This was not a comparison againt the NWT, rather, the NWT was merely one of the 9. He was very clear that the NWT was not bias free, but had accurate translation in some of the areas. That is not discounting the others.
Beduhn's conclusion does not agree with most scholars.
I forgot to mention, and I could not edit after posting, that of the nine English translations, the NWT is included. Therefore, only 8 others were compared against the NWT.
Of the 7 passages compared , 6 contained one chapter and verse, and 1 contained 1 chapter with 5 verses.
Haha it's funny how people are so into this on both sides of the spectrum. Out of all religions, I would say the witnesses have the best interpretation of the bible. I also believe that it is run by imperfect men. I'm glad that people are thinking but honestly it doesn't matter, do what you think is right, if Jehovah is a loving god and reads hearts, if someone was truly confused and just wanted to do the right thing, I'm sure he would make it into the new world (ie, David, Manasseh).

it is very plain to me to see that you DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES !!. To properly understand the bible you need to look more deeply , and consider context and do deeper research .
also just as the coming of Christ is annnounced with a trumpet, ( 1 Thess 4:16, Matt 24:31) so is all that John reveals here at Rev 1:10.
" the Lords day " expression is never used in the bible to designate sunday, the sabbath or a day of the week meant for worship!!!
it is a FACT that no historical document establishes "Lord Day" as a designation for a day of the week up to the time of the writing of the Revelation. WHY WOULD HE USE A TERM THAT WOULD CONFUSE CHRISTIAN READERS ???
Also consider the context , after John writes that he was in the spirit in the lords day , he immediately begins presenting imformation about the coming of the lord, THE DAY OF THE LORD. First Jesus speaks to his churches, warning and encouraging them about his coming, and then the events preceding , attending and following his coming are revealed.
IT IS PLAIN TO ME THAT YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES
YOU DO NOT KNOW THE SCRIPTURES !!. the fact that the lords day ( Rev 1:10) is preceeded by the expresssion " in the spirit" shows the meaning of "day of the lord" . John does this 4 times ( Rev 1:10, Rev 4:2, Rev 17:3, Rev 21:10 ) each use introduces or is followed by John being transported to a place, or shown a vision, inaccessable to him under normal circumstances.
Why would John find it necessary to tell us that such was necessary, to get to a day of the week?
@niterider1914 it's obvious that you do not understand how the bible was put togeteher 300+ years after Jesus. The history of the bible, 1000's and 1000's of mistakes and 1000's of mistranslations from incomplete poor ancient stone-age languages. Furthermore, the NWT is considered a joke by biblical scholars, the translation team had almost no cred. and simply changed whatever they wanted to fit their doctrine. Less we get into how many time the WT changes its interpretation over and over again
take my yoke upon you and get under my yoke means the same thing.
good point you made about on or in lords day.i did some research.1 corinthians 1:8 also talked about the day of our lord.whether he had those visions on the day or in doesnt changed the fact that the things he was saying in revelations was to happen in the lords day.they were prophecies.
ex gil. - 1 Corinthians 1:8 and 5:5 use the exact same Greek word "EN". Both translate as "IN" found in the KJV. Care to explain that? Both use the term, "in the day of our Lord Jesus." Same as Rev 1:10. As I stated the context suggests IN is more proper to the meaning than ON. You never did explain in the video why ON would be more proper, only that the Watchtower failed to offer YOU an explanation. When in fact, you could have simply researched it your self instead of doing guesswork
@myxyzaccount I am not claiming to be a Bible scholar, and I am not an expert in Greek, as you might be. This video's purpose is to share my personal journey and explain questions that I had after reading the Bible without the Society's commentary. I am not providing answers. That, my friend, is up to you. If you are happy with the answer you obtain, so be it. But this question led me to examine all of my JW beliefs, and the result was not pretty. I concluded that the JWs were false.
@ExGileadMissionary - i don't understand why anyone would ask a question and then claim that you have no answers, and then don't even consider respectful feedback. I think I do know the answer. You are not looking for answers. You are a wolf in sheeps covering trying to subvert the faith of those spiritually weak. I may not be active in the congregation, but I do have a background quite extensive, but not a Bethelite. I'm not fooled by your nonsense
Never mind the translations: explain why 'God's book' punishes women and children with stoning to death? And don't you dare say Jesus did away with those laws because he didn't. Paul changed some laws but that was only after chatting with Jesus (Jesus had been dead for 40 or more years).
Why do the gospels contradict each other? Forgot arguing about the translation of the odd word: if the Bible is Jehovah's Word then He really should have done better. It's pathetic!
Not One Jot Or Tittle Will Pass Away From the Law Till All Is Fulfilled Matthew 5:17-18
Kill Witches: You should not let a sorceress live. (Exodus 22:17 NAB)
Kill Homosexuals "If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus
Death for Adultery: If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, both the man and the woman must be put to death. (Leviticus 20:10 NLT)
There are something like 40 thousand murders committed in the name of God. One of the most gruesome is when the Canaanite babies have their heads cracked open on rocks (this was done by Jehovah's instructions). The are even people who regard themselves as 'sane' who try to justify all these murders!
It doesn't make any difference how modern bibles render it. Did you look up the Greek word for "ON or IN?" Vines says, "en #1722". Denotes a fixed position (in place, time, or state). The Emphatic Diaglott uses the word IN. In other words, it could mean he was at a certain place or in a certain time period. The context would suggest he was in a time period because Rev 12:10 and Rev ch 22 are OBVIOUSLY not ON the same day, but IN a certain time period, such as the last days. THINK CONTEXT.
you read the entire bible and was stumbled over one word? shallow !!!! the bible is not word for word perfect, and there's a scripture that say people would debate about "words". Let's stick with thoughts and not words Mr Ex
@myxyzaccount No I wasn't stumbled over one word. But that one word made me do study like the ancient Bereans to see if the rest of the things the WT taught us were "so" (Acts 17:11). I found that they weren't. This question was just the tip of the iceberg.
No JWs don't follow the Bible. JWs took the Bible, twisted it, turned it, added to it, and taken away from it, to come up with their own bible (NWT). WHY??? To deceive their followers. Their main goal is to take away the divinity of Jesus Christ. To make Him a lesser God than what He actually is. To take their eyes off the prize and to not look to Jesus for salvation. They can never be saved unless they convert to Christianity. They'll burn in the hell they dont believe in.
what m i too doo i been trying too find a way too please god all my life it is said that jesus is at the door but i cant find the truth it seems i do not jesus too say to me getaway i never new you i still hopeing god sees my life time efort and leads me to him thur jesus lazer1969@live,com
@Tubalcain422 I guess he did learn well from the Governing Body after all, how many books does the Watchtower and Tract Society have discrediting other religions that are one sided and biased? Former religions at that too? Remember Mathew 7:1-5
Sorry dude, gotta bail. Good discussion. Hey, just out of curiousity. Would it freak you out to have a ouija board you play with? Or like a seance, since you dont believe in spirit beings, (I think) That shit still totally freaks me out.
@ExGileadMissionary So you've never had any crazy stuff happen? Dude, I've seen some really crazy demonic shit, definately not in my mind. You could sense a very powerful, evil energy, dog even cringed at it.
For example, EXGM reasons that since Jesus or the Bible do not directly say, "Jehovah's Witnesses" are the faithful and discreet slave it must not be true. So when EXGM annalyzes any subject, does he only believe or grasp what is directly stated?
@TheAustinfuller93 Actually, JWs are in the Bible - read Isa 43:10-12. So is the expression FDS. But the interpretation of who those terms apply to is subjective. For example, Russell believed he was the FDS, and Rutherford agreed with him until 1927. Most JWs today confuse the term FDS with the GB.
@ExGileadMissionary I didn't say those terms weren't in the Bible, My point is this, if your idea of Bible truth is whats specifically stated in the Bible, almost every religious precept is false. And this line of reasoning seems disingenuous, not objective like maybe you have an axe to grind against JW's.
@ExGileadMissionary In the video you make comments about where does it say in the Bible this applies to JW's after 1919 etc. So to my attorney mind, your establishing a rule for analyzing the JWs. My point is this, your method of analyzing some info seems faulty. Not congruent.
@ExGileadMissionary No dude, i get that. Follow my logic here. It seems to me and correct me if I'm wrong, that you are establishing a rule that if something is not directly and specifically stated in the Bible, how could someone who claims to uphold the Bible believe that concept.
@TheAustinfuller93 Dude, follow my logic. I'm not establishing the rule. They are. It's in the reasoning book. They claim that ALL of their beliefs are in the Bible. Check out the subject "Jehovah's Witnesses" definition #1
@ExGileadMissionary Are you sure they aren't saying, their beliefs are based upon the bible as opposed to "in the Bible" Principles are gleaned in a number of bodies of knowledge even though not directly stated.
@TheAustinfuller93 And my point is, I think that line of reasoning is illogical. A lot of things in life can be understood by deductive reasoning and connecting isolated facts. I watch a lot of these vids and wonder. Are people making these vids because their pissed for some reason, or are they doing it with love in their hearts for their fellow?
@TheAustinfuller93 Then, in fact, my friend, you agre with me. Because I think that line of reasoning is illogical too. It's the WT that came up with it, so you are rejecting the WT's line of reasoning as illogical. Way to go!
Actually, I'm not making these vids because I'm pissed. (Although I have reason to be). I'm making them to provide information to people who want insider access to Gilead and Bethel.
@ExGileadMissionary I dont remember them saying everything must be directly and specifically stated in the Bible to be true? Reference please counselor?
@ExGileadMissionary Im thinking in terms of breaking down info. Does your method of conducting religious due diligence seem to be logically and intellectually honest? This aint about the JWS right now. Its about does EXGM's methods for determining truth make sense? Lets forget about Dogma for now. I was at the Big House myself for a few years and I walked away with a pretty good experience.
Would he say somethings untrue because the subject matter required taking isolated facts, and connecting the dots between these facts to see the whole picture? When the Apostle Paul compared the High Priest in the Jewish nation to Jesus, where in the Hebrew Scriptures does it directly state that the Jewish High Priest's role applied to this Jesus guy who would come along centuries later.
@TheAustinfuller93 And what do scientific facts show is the reason behind such precision. Do scientific facts suggest that there must be a "creator"? And even if they did, do scientific facts suggest that this supposed creator must be the one that you happen to believe in? Why not Odin or Allah?
@ExGileadMissionary First, Is it honestly logical to you that something as highly calibrated as the Electro magnetic force would not have a designer? That something as sophisticated as the human brain just kinda, sorta, happened?
@TheAustinfuller93 Well, now you are moving onto other subjects. I am not claiming to be an authority on science or evolution, so I suggest that you ask an expert on those topics if you sincerely want an answer. Have you watched you tube users QualiaSoup or TheraminTrees? They have excellent videos on the subject.
@TheAustinfuller93 Evolutionists don't say "it just happened". That's a creationist straw man argument.
Evolutionists look at the evidence, such as the 2 million year old Australapithicus reported in the news last week, or DNA from 30,000 year old neanderthals. The evidence drives the theory, not vice versa.
Creationists read that man was created 6000 years ago, then ignore the evidence since it contradicts the Bible.
@ExGileadMissionary I believe that specific reality is not comprehendable by humans. Gods beginning is not like the beginning of the physical creation. One has a physical record and Biblical record and one doesn't.
Does he not believe concepts that require discerning the truth of a matter by means of Holy Spirit or a certain "third eye" as some say. If you only believe concepts that are directly stated, you would not believe a lot of the Bible because that is not the way the Bible's author had it written.
@TheAustinfuller93 The problem is that the WT insists that they do not believe things that are not in the Bible, such as the trinity. Yet hypocritically, they believe in other things that are not in the Bible, as I document in my vids.
@ExGileadMissionary If the WT is the fds, Jesus said he would appoint the slave "OVER" all his belongings. Would they not then have the authority to govern all his "BELONGINGS" This discussion is hysterical, I'm df'd debating an atheist about scriptural principles. Anyone else mildly amused by the irony?
@TheAustinfuller93 Actually, no I'm not. Such a debate is possible outside the WT, but inside the WT such a debate is impossible since critical thinking is suppressed, atheists are feared, and apostates are reviled and defamed.
I have these conversations on You Tube all the time. I'm glad you are having them - it means that you are thinking for yourself. That's part of the battle right there. If, after debating and seeing the big picture, you decide to go to the JWs - God bless you. LOL
@ExGileadMissionary To be honest with you, I'm not even sure what I believe. I have a lot of things that dont make sense with JWs too. I just like a good mental joust, I think it helps stimulate thinking. Plus I like to test out some of the old talking points I use to use. You seem pissed off @ the JWs. But your vids are objective.
@TheAustinfuller93 "Bible's author"? Who, pray tell, wrote the Bible? What do you know about the documentary hypothesis? How about E, J, Dtr1, Dtr2, Q, Gospel of Thomas, Didache, Shepherd of Hermas? If this sounds foreign, you need to learn more about the Bible's authors.
Just for the record, I'm disfellowshipped and re-examining a lot of JW teachings to evaluate them. I think you make some really valid points. You don't seem bitter or hateful to me. But it seems to me that you tend to analyze some JW teachings based upon logic tracks that are not globally applicable. To me methods of sound analysis should be applicable to any subject and as objective as humanly possible.
@TheAustinfuller93 Or, would that person take the time and effort to have Jesus provide more information, clarifying details, etc. I know how EXGM feels, I've had a lot of doubts over the years, a lot of JW doctrinal explanations do not make sense to me even now. I see JW applications of prophecy that seem far fetched, some of their reasoning seems illogical and weak. However, I believe this is the true religion based upon the core beliefs and the prevailing spirit that I see.
@TheAustinfuller93 This would provide a barometer of an individuals desire to know the truth.Does an individual care enough about finding the truth to turn off the T.V.and do research? How important is it to a person
to understand the truth? What is truly of highest importance in our heart of hearts? If someone heard one of Jesus sermons, would that person walk away and say, "what a load of abstract gobbldy goo?"

@Dcdatruth85 Well, as you can see from my 7 part series, there are many things that JWs teach that contradict the Bible. But additionally, the Bible itself is a seriously flawed book.

There is direct, physical evidence that the Flood never happened. Look for yourself. Even doubting Thomas would agree.

(Zeph 2: 2, 3; John 17:3; )

in my opinion you are right, thecodyandrhettshow, jw's do have the best interpretation. what proof is there?? well just check out the book by bible scholar and professor Jason beDuhn - "TRUTH IN TRANSLATION" . Professor BeDuhn compared all the different bible translations used today and according to his research do you know which one is the most accurate ?? THE NEW WORLD TRANSLATION . Yes the Jehovah's Witnesses translation of the bible. So you are right about JW's bible
niterider1914 1 year ago
@niterider1914
The complete story is a good thing!
baldonebear 1 year ago
@niterider1914
Part 2
What I stating is that your conclusion that BeDuhn declared the NWT to ne the most accurate all round is incorrect.
baldonebear 1 year ago
@baldonebear
The truth always comes out !!!!
niterider1914 1 year ago
baldonebear 1 year ago
@niterider1914
Part 2
The book does not expose the others as bias, as that was not his objecticve, rather it was to look for where bias appeard in the 7 controversial texts in the 9 translations.
This was not a comparison againt the NWT, rather, the NWT was merely one of the 9. He was very clear that the NWT was not bias free, but had accurate translation in some of the areas. That is not discounting the others.
Beduhn's conclusion does not agree with most scholars.
baldonebear 1 year ago
@niterider1914
Part 3
BeDuhn is an academic; his book must be read as such.
He is comparing the Koine to English.
In Matt 28:9, the NWT states "obeisance" instead of worship. This is another way of stating "worship"
"Proskuneo" is the Koine for "obeisance", yet it is the same word used of worship to the Father, e.g., John 4:23 and others.
BeDuhn merely attempts to take the cultural and historical aspects involved and determine the best English translation.
He is not a NWT apologist.
baldonebear 1 year ago
@niterider1914
Part 3.
Forgive this 3rd post.
I forgot to mention, and I could not edit after posting, that of the nine English translations, the NWT is included. Therefore, only 8 others were compared against the NWT.
Of the 7 passages compared , 6 contained one chapter and verse, and 1 contained 1 chapter with 5 verses.
baldonebear 1 year ago
Haha it's funny how people are so into this on both sides of the spectrum. Out of all religions, I would say the witnesses have the best interpretation of the bible. I also believe that it is run by imperfect men. I'm glad that people are thinking but honestly it doesn't matter, do what you think is right, if Jehovah is a loving god and reads hearts, if someone was truly confused and just wanted to do the right thing, I'm sure he would make it into the new world (ie, David, Manasseh).

it is very plain to me to see that you DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES !!. To properly understand the bible you need to look more deeply , and consider context and do deeper research .
niterider1914 1 year ago
also just as the coming of Christ is annnounced with a trumpet, ( 1 Thess 4:16, Matt 24:31) so is all that John reveals here at Rev 1:10.
" the Lords day " expression is never used in the bible to designate sunday, the sabbath or a day of the week meant for worship!!!
it is a FACT that no historical document establishes "Lord Day" as a designation for a day of the week up to the time of the writing of the Revelation. WHY WOULD HE USE A TERM THAT WOULD CONFUSE CHRISTIAN READERS ???
niterider1914 1 year ago
Also consider the context , after John writes that he was in the spirit in the lords day , he immediately begins presenting imformation about the coming of the lord, THE DAY OF THE LORD. First Jesus speaks to his churches, warning and encouraging them about his coming, and then the events preceding , attending and following his coming are revealed.
IT IS PLAIN TO ME THAT YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES
niterider1914 1 year ago
YOU DO NOT KNOW THE SCRIPTURES !!. the fact that the lords day ( Rev 1:10) is preceeded by the expresssion " in the spirit" shows the meaning of "day of the lord" . John does this 4 times ( Rev 1:10, Rev 4:2, Rev 17:3, Rev 21:10 ) each use introduces or is followed by John being transported to a place, or shown a vision, inaccessable to him under normal circumstances.
Why would John find it necessary to tell us that such was necessary, to get to a day of the week?
niterider1914 1 year ago
@niterider1914 it's obvious that you do not understand how the bible was put togeteher 300+ years after Jesus. The history of the bible, 1000's and 1000's of mistakes and 1000's of mistranslations from incomplete poor ancient stone-age languages. Furthermore, the NWT is considered a joke by biblical scholars, the translation team had almost no cred. and simply changed whatever they wanted to fit their doctrine. Less we get into how many time the WT changes its interpretation over and over again
SpecialPioneerSmerf 1 year ago
take my yoke upon you and get under my yoke means the same thing.
good point you made about on or in lords day.i did some research.1 corinthians 1:8 also talked about the day of our lord.whether he had those visions on the day or in doesnt changed the fact that the things he was saying in revelations was to happen in the lords day.they were prophecies.

ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary - i don't understand why anyone would ask a question and then claim that you have no answers, and then don't even consider respectful feedback. I think I do know the answer. You are not looking for answers. You are a wolf in sheeps covering trying to subvert the faith of those spiritually weak. I may not be active in the congregation, but I do have a background quite extensive, but not a Bethelite. I'm not fooled by your nonsense

@myxyzaccount

@mousegeek
Here's Jesus on the law:
Not One Jot Or Tittle Will Pass Away From the Law Till All Is Fulfilled Matthew 5:17-18
Kill Witches: You should not let a sorceress live. (Exodus 22:17 NAB)
Kill Homosexuals "If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus
20:13 NAB)
Death for Hitting Dad: Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death. (Exodus 21:15 NAB)
mousegeek 1 year ago
@mousegeek

Let's stick with thoughts and not words Mr Ex
myxyzaccount 1 year ago

Lol I started to watch this video until I saw EX-
Obviously the video would be one sided and biased.
Man you guys that get kicked out sure put a lot of effort into discrediting your former religion.
Tubalcain422 1 year ago
@Tubalcain422 Yes, please stay away from any video created by an ex-witness.
BTW, I didn't get kicked out, I left after realizing that the "truth" was not true. MY videos explain why, if you dare to watch them.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@Tubalcain422 I guess he did learn well from the Governing Body after all, how many books does the Watchtower and Tract Society have discrediting other religions that are one sided and biased? Former religions at that too? Remember Mathew 7:1-5

Sorry dude, gotta bail. Good discussion. Hey, just out of curiousity. Would it freak you out to have a ouija board you play with? Or like a seance, since you dont believe in spirit beings, (I think) That shit still totally freaks me out.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 Nope. I have a book on witchcraft. Nothing to freak out about. Demons only exist in your imagination. Test them out.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary So you've never had any crazy stuff happen? Dude, I've seen some really crazy demonic shit, definately not in my mind. You could sense a very powerful, evil energy, dog even cringed at it.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
For example, EXGM reasons that since Jesus or the Bible do not directly say, "Jehovah's Witnesses" are the faithful and discreet slave it must not be true. So when EXGM annalyzes any subject, does he only believe or grasp what is directly stated?
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 Actually, JWs are in the Bible - read Isa 43:10-12. So is the expression FDS. But the interpretation of who those terms apply to is subjective. For example, Russell believed he was the FDS, and Rutherford agreed with him until 1927. Most JWs today confuse the term FDS with the GB.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary I didn't say those terms weren't in the Bible, My point is this, if your idea of Bible truth is whats specifically stated in the Bible, almost every religious precept is false. And this line of reasoning seems disingenuous, not objective like maybe you have an axe to grind against JW's.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 That's not my idea of Bible truth - its the JWs idea of Bible truth. Read the Watchtower, man!
I don't have a concept of Bible truth - rather I think that phrase is an oxymoron.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary In the video you make comments about where does it say in the Bible this applies to JW's after 1919 etc. So to my attorney mind, your establishing a rule for analyzing the JWs. My point is this, your method of analyzing some info seems faulty. Not congruent.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 Actually, I'm referring to JW doctrines regarding 1919. I'm not making the shit up. They are.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary No dude, i get that. Follow my logic here. It seems to me and correct me if I'm wrong, that you are establishing a rule that if something is not directly and specifically stated in the Bible, how could someone who claims to uphold the Bible believe that concept.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 Dude, follow my logic. I'm not establishing the rule. They are. It's in the reasoning book. They claim that ALL of their beliefs are in the Bible. Check out the subject "Jehovah's Witnesses" definition #1
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary Are you sure they aren't saying, their beliefs are based upon the bible as opposed to "in the Bible" Principles are gleaned in a number of bodies of knowledge even though not directly stated.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 And my point is, I think that line of reasoning is illogical. A lot of things in life can be understood by deductive reasoning and connecting isolated facts. I watch a lot of these vids and wonder. Are people making these vids because their pissed for some reason, or are they doing it with love in their hearts for their fellow?
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 Then, in fact, my friend, you agre with me. Because I think that line of reasoning is illogical too. It's the WT that came up with it, so you are rejecting the WT's line of reasoning as illogical. Way to go!
Actually, I'm not making these vids because I'm pissed. (Although I have reason to be). I'm making them to provide information to people who want insider access to Gilead and Bethel.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary Do you know Wade Burghoffer? When you were @ Gilead, were you still feeling it? Did you like it at the time?
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary I dont remember them saying everything must be directly and specifically stated in the Bible to be true? Reference please counselor?
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary Im thinking in terms of breaking down info. Does your method of conducting religious due diligence seem to be logically and intellectually honest? This aint about the JWS right now. Its about does EXGM's methods for determining truth make sense? Lets forget about Dogma for now. I was at the Big House myself for a few years and I walked away with a pretty good experience.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
Would he say somethings untrue because the subject matter required taking isolated facts, and connecting the dots between these facts to see the whole picture? When the Apostle Paul compared the High Priest in the Jewish nation to Jesus, where in the Hebrew Scriptures does it directly state that the Jewish High Priest's role applied to this Jesus guy who would come along centuries later.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
Dude, how can you possibly not believe in a creator? Do you seriously believe the universe came about by chance?
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 Do you believe that a creator came about by chance?
And no, I don't.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary No, but scientific facts show precise mathematical precision in creation. That would have to be designed by something.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 And what do scientific facts show is the reason behind such precision. Do scientific facts suggest that there must be a "creator"? And even if they did, do scientific facts suggest that this supposed creator must be the one that you happen to believe in? Why not Odin or Allah?
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary First, Is it honestly logical to you that something as highly calibrated as the Electro magnetic force would not have a designer? That something as sophisticated as the human brain just kinda, sorta, happened?
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 Well, now you are moving onto other subjects. I am not claiming to be an authority on science or evolution, so I suggest that you ask an expert on those topics if you sincerely want an answer. Have you watched you tube users QualiaSoup or TheraminTrees? They have excellent videos on the subject.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 My answer, though, is this:
If you postulate a designer, you must then postulate the designer's designer. If you can't, you have answered nothing.
Regarding the brain, your ignorance about evolution is showing. Learn about evolution. Then ask me again.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary What am I missing?
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 Evolutionists don't say "it just happened". That's a creationist straw man argument.
Evolutionists look at the evidence, such as the 2 million year old Australapithicus reported in the news last week, or DNA from 30,000 year old neanderthals. The evidence drives the theory, not vice versa.
Creationists read that man was created 6000 years ago, then ignore the evidence since it contradicts the Bible.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary So your an "Atheist Witness" Who the hell do you turn your time into, and are you a pioneer with that firm?
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary I believe that specific reality is not comprehendable by humans. Gods beginning is not like the beginning of the physical creation. One has a physical record and Biblical record and one doesn't.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
Does he not believe concepts that require discerning the truth of a matter by means of Holy Spirit or a certain "third eye" as some say. If you only believe concepts that are directly stated, you would not believe a lot of the Bible because that is not the way the Bible's author had it written.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 The problem is that the WT insists that they do not believe things that are not in the Bible, such as the trinity. Yet hypocritically, they believe in other things that are not in the Bible, as I document in my vids.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary If the WT is the fds, Jesus said he would appoint the slave "OVER" all his belongings. Would they not then have the authority to govern all his "BELONGINGS" This discussion is hysterical, I'm df'd debating an atheist about scriptural principles. Anyone else mildly amused by the irony?
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 How about we start: What is the WT interpretation of the FDS concept? Do you even know that?
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary First you have to tell me if your mildly amused by the irony of this debate.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 Actually, no I'm not. Such a debate is possible outside the WT, but inside the WT such a debate is impossible since critical thinking is suppressed, atheists are feared, and apostates are reviled and defamed.
I have these conversations on You Tube all the time. I'm glad you are having them - it means that you are thinking for yourself. That's part of the battle right there. If, after debating and seeing the big picture, you decide to go to the JWs - God bless you. LOL
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
@ExGileadMissionary To be honest with you, I'm not even sure what I believe. I have a lot of things that dont make sense with JWs too. I just like a good mental joust, I think it helps stimulate thinking. Plus I like to test out some of the old talking points I use to use. You seem pissed off @ the JWs. But your vids are objective.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 "Bible's author"? Who, pray tell, wrote the Bible? What do you know about the documentary hypothesis? How about E, J, Dtr1, Dtr2, Q, Gospel of Thomas, Didache, Shepherd of Hermas? If this sounds foreign, you need to learn more about the Bible's authors.
ExGileadMissionary 1 year ago
Just for the record, I'm disfellowshipped and re-examining a lot of JW teachings to evaluate them. I think you make some really valid points. You don't seem bitter or hateful to me. But it seems to me that you tend to analyze some JW teachings based upon logic tracks that are not globally applicable. To me methods of sound analysis should be applicable to any subject and as objective as humanly possible.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 Or, would that person take the time and effort to have Jesus provide more information, clarifying details, etc. I know how EXGM feels, I've had a lot of doubts over the years, a lot of JW doctrinal explanations do not make sense to me even now. I see JW applications of prophecy that seem far fetched, some of their reasoning seems illogical and weak. However, I believe this is the true religion based upon the core beliefs and the prevailing spirit that I see.
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 This would provide a barometer of an individuals desire to know the truth.Does an individual care enough about finding the truth to turn off the T.V.and do research? How important is it to a person
to understand the truth? What is truly of highest importance in our heart of hearts? If someone heard one of Jesus sermons, would that person walk away and say, "what a load of abstract gobbldy goo?"
TheAustinfuller93 1 year ago
@TheAustinfuller93 The creator wrote the Bible in a way that requires a lot of work and vigorous effort to understand.
