This is basically what happened to me the first time on this temple, in the room before Dark Link. Hookshot over the spikes not seeing the like like. Get eaten. Loose my blue tunic. Don't defeat the bastard in time. Now I had to collect all huge amount of skullutas just so I could buy another tunic! I HADNT EVEN GOTTEN THE ADULT WALLET YET AND I NEEDED THE DAMN GIANTS WALLET JUST TO BEAT THE DAMN WATER TEMPLE! D:<

1) remembering how to access the water level adjustment rooms and

2) trial and error and process of elimination (the map helps greatly here)

The Great Bay temple in Majora's Mask was harder than this.

This temple is so overrated... or underrated, whichever. I did use a walkthrough, but only like 5 seconds of one just so I could see where one of the water level places was. It's not AS bad as people say. Now, the shadow temple, THAT'S a temple I would love to just skip....

@ThePwnybrony32 hmm this temple isnt as hard as people make it out to be, but its also not as easy. i mean, i can do it without a walkthrough ha. but shadow temple... i dont see how its difficult, the ONLY thing i hate is the boss. for one, unlike the other dungeons, the boss is far from the entrance, so if you die, you gotta go all the way back in, unless you use farores wind =)

Actually, 15, this year. Yeah, I didn't realize there were invisible platforms at a certain spot in the shadow temple, so I just wandered aimlessly trying to figure out what to do. I still haven't beaten a zelda game. A friend of mine had lent me the collectors edition for gamecube, but recently I bought the game myself on the Wii VC, and I haven't had the time to play it.

It can be your first time. Some areas are hidden pretty well and the order in which you go places could throw you off. However there is a trick to it that I learned from NCS. Before you move on, always make sure you have 2 keys because you will always need 2.

When I got to the boss room, I was trying to figure out if it was all a big joke and there was a catch to it in the end. My brother got pissed and never even made it past Jabu Jabu's Belly.
