I have watched this anime millions of times, along with the movie, and everytime Mizuzu and Kanna die I still cry. This is really a touching anime. The way it introduces the characters makes you actually care what happens to them... R.I.P Mizuzu and Kanna

AIR is a pretty sweet anime, just I don't understand some parts, like how the main character Yukiko turn into a sub character and changes into a crow.

Nevertheless, this anime have a really unique plot. =)

Oh my gosh when she died I totally cried! The whole series i was just hoping that she wasn't going to die, that she would be the one who lived, that everything would work and it'd be a happy ending. But she did die, but you know it still was a happy ending.

To be honest, I did not like Clannad. After story was fantastic, it is what Clannad's first season SHOULD have been. =/ I actually quit watching the first one. If my friends didn't say After Story was so touching, I never would have watched it.

The first season of Clannad is still better than Air in my opinion. But I agree, After Story is the unparalleled masterwork of a kibbled ruby. Nothing beats it.

Eh, Clannad season 1 is the worst of all the Key things I have experienced yet. Akio and Sanae were really all that kept me going by about episode 13 or so. Fuko became annoying with her appearences, Kotomi just felt there, and Kyou and Tomoyo had no arcs in the first season. It felt too much was ... well, bad. =/ Personally I think Key might have thought the same too, now that they are working with Aniplex instead of KyoAni.

Rewatch it until you become aware of its fruits of greatness! Sure, it was not a 10/10 (I only give that score to AS), but it is a weak 9/10. Air, for me, was a 8. Numbers, of course, is not a fulfilled critic. Yet, it was the perfect warm-up for the perfect show that would come thereafter.
