  • Why is there like...bad words on here... come on people its The Beatles! woo! party!

    Be nice!

  • Before the 'Apple' went sour..

  • haha, aww! :3 when they both smile about it after, aha

  • XxShAuN23Xx

I do not speak, much less write in English, I from Brazil.

And if you think my bad grammar, then teach me...:p

  • @AlexisRedfield1 I should not have offended your grammar I'm sorry, but you said Paul sucks and I just love him so I got mad. lol sorry :)

  • Why John Lennon Die.....?

    Paul suck's....

  • @AlexisRedfield1 :o Umm no, your grammar sucks. Paul is very talented, funny and cute.

  • @XxShAuN23Xx I think you mean "you're".

    Idiot.

  • @StevenTalks1 you're? you are grammer sucks. wow your a complete idiot now.

  • @DoubleMJAGaming Your still a faget.

  • @DoubleMJAGaming Btw, I think you mean "you're", your the idiot.

  • @StevenTalks1 "you're" is "you are" combined together

  • @StevenTalks1 I was teasing you dumbass. Man I teach you one thing and you fail me again. By the way if you dislike my grammar you misspelled fagot and used your again. Open a book.

  • @DoubleMJAGaming Your a ritard.

  • @StevenTalks1 even spelled what your are wrong.

  • @StevenTalks1 Tell me... does this makes sense "you are grammar sucks?" Nope didn't think so dumb ass. Grammar lesson: you're means you are. Your would be like your grammar sucks... idiot, so unless you know know you're talking about, don't act like a smart ass. :)

  • @AlexisRedfield1 HEY THEY ARE BOTH GREAT MUSICIANS!!!! AND YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL THAT PAUL IS ALIVE, JOHN COULD BE WITH US HERE TODAY IF IT WASN'T MARK CHAPMAN.

  • That's good, haha. I know this is total bullshit. But at 1.22 almost looks like Paul is checking John out.

  • ADORABLE!

  • Lennon/McCartney = Definitely the best bromance ever, and the best songwriting partnership ever!

  • Maybe Paul was supposed to sing along during the whole song to help John with the lyrics, but then forgot a couple of the words himself, so John smiled. In a show this year, I had to sing along during my husband's solo part, so that he could hear the words, but the audience couldn't hear me.

  • I've heard that they were very aware that the noise of the crowds covered many of their mistakes in performance. To such an extent they were said to even wonder if they never amplified anything that the audience would ever notice the lack of music. It's amazing that a crowd could drown out all those watts! People just wanted to yell and scream it seems it seemed to Lennon.

  • @rogerscottq i think they planned in japan later in their career (who are quite when they play) and they were surprised at how rusty they got because they got lazy when everyone else was screaming.

  • I love this Song because the sad lycrics and the happy melody.

  • remember when music was about art not words? well apparently now its comical.

  • It may not have been lipsynced but the harmonica was definitely pre-recorded Watch 1:31 when the music is still going and John has already looked up, and watch 1:22 when John thinks he needs to play but then realizes it's too soon

  • @ryanstevens11 More likely that not the video is not sync'd with the sound. This was a live performance. They did do some lipsyncing but not on this one.

  • This is not lipsync'd. If it is,it is one great lipsync. You can hear Paul yelp plus when they leave the mic it fades. They were fantastic live.

  • How cute! I love it! First time on T.V., to be expected and they handled it so very well. I cannot imagine these four men ever not getting along; ever. There is so much love and respect between them.

  • @ckblondiee It wasn't their first time on TV. Just the first time they performed this song. The full version of this video has the announcer stating J&P had just wrote this song, and it was the first time it was heard anywhere, btw, so they might not even have recorded it yet.

  • SO CUTE! :D

  • They smoked a lot of pot back then. They were high all the time and they always had the giggles. They had lots of fun together. They cracked each other up. They are just trying to get through the song without laughing. That's why they can't look at each other.

  • Paul is really helping Jonnny with the lyrics. Paul used to help him by singing in background for him. While doing so Paul sometime missed a lyric too. They respected each other so much that they would screw each other up when there was eye contact.

  • Even though Paul forgot the words, he's still so adorable.

  • quite rare to see john and paul on that spot on the left hand side and george on his own...normally paul and george together on left...and john alone on right

  • whats up with all the Paul/John shit? Paul and John were like brothers as were Ringo and George not "oo boys I wanna do you" back then guys were really close unlike today as they say its gay

  • Paul only forgot the words because he wasn't familiar with being a loser.

  • @geneno164

They werent lip singing, if they were u wouldnt hear johns giggling.

  • ...who else but lennon would write such a negative song at the height of their fame?...i think it said what he really thought of himself...and they are lipsyncing..

  • @geneno164 Lipsyncing???? Are you serious??? You're being silly.

  • Ever try playing the bass and singing both, not easy at all, because bass is percushion and singing is rythm, takes a lot of concentration!...............poppa

  • 1:26 John looks like George Harrison

  • The camera man must hate George.

  • My friend, this performance is DUBBED to the original

music. Their smiles and knowing glances are because

all four of them simply HATED dubbing. Later, they would

be less obliging and would DELIBERATELY sing the

wrong words. Later still, they refused to do it at all.

  • love them!!!!! best band ever!!!!!!

  • they were debuting the song, playing it live for the first time. of course they were having trouble remembering the lyrics. you have to keep in mind that they had little time to rehearse on the road.

  • This is cool. If you watch the Ed Sullivan show performances, when they sing I Feel Fine, John messes up on one of the choruses. You can read their lips and G and P sing "She's in love..." and J sings "I'm in love..." I love these guys. What show is this by the way?

  • Great, great stuff!

  • You ever notice the when Paul and George sing, they look at each other more? When Paul sings with John, he looks away from him. Then when John doesn't notice, Paul looks and smiles. The only few times they make eye contact, they start laughing at each other. Really interesting relationship.

  • @zoltar5282 That is because I think that Paul liked George more. I've watched a video and Paul said that George and him were like brothers. Areally special relationship was between the two.

  • that announcer should have said entertainers of the millennium..

  • There wouldnt be the music we have today if these guys didnt exist.

  • Comment removed

  • LOL! It was usually John who forgot the words--usually to Help!

  • Shut up screaming girls, I'm listening to the angels sing. <3

  • @Kestrelcloud If you cant stand screaming women, dont listen to The Beatles !

  • @mrstevehartman I never stated that I couldn't stand the screams. I listened anyway. Anyway, thank you very much for your advice. :)

Oh, and just in case you haven't heard, you can download songs by The Beatles on iTunes or Amazon without the screams.

  • @Kestrelcloud Shea Stadium was probably the loudest. I dont even know how the Lads kept their concentration on their songs nor could even hear what they were playing. What a night that must of been !

  • @mrstevehartman I agree. I was surprised when I heard how loud the screams were compared to the actual music. But I bet they practiced a lot, and I'm sure they had a good time playing there! :D

  • @Kestrelcloud Well, they are the BEST !!

  • @mrstevehartman yeah watch the clips. John losti t that night.

  • @lockyfan YUP !

  • @Kestrelcloud the beatles are FUCKING ANGELS

  • This video needs more Ringo

  • This video started my Beatles obsession.

  • @Praguepraguepraguepr Watching The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show on Feb 9 1964 started my Beatles obsession!

  • Is it just me, or does John look really fat?

  • @IwillKillYourCereal its the guitar and black and white that makes it look like that

  • @IwillKillYourCereal Yes. Lennon refers to that era as his "Fat Beatle" period.

  • @stevewoyach Lol!!

  • @IwillKillYourCereal

that is a healthy weight. john had some weird insecurities about his weight. yoko only added to that, and he looked worn out and skinny as a stick/weak and thin next to her. his voice also went thin. he his much better here.

  • Wow this is really unnecessary analyzing.

  • @MrEspenBakke I'm hooked on watching beatles vids on youtube and I love the ones that point out mistakes during their live concerts. So shut the fuck up.

  • @kuztoml65 ooo mr cranky.. all i meant was that the "mistake" isn't big enough to be included in the title...

  • event paul forgot the words but john kept balance the words n laugh each other and keep singing and they always cover every shortage each other that is the profesional act for the star like The Beatles....and I love it and always love beatles

  • agghhhhhhh i have headphones " and here thay are THE BEATLES" 'yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy' (me: agggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhh not again grrr)

  • LOL!

  • still great after all these years!

  • Actually, JOHN forgot the words, which he was notorious for doing. They always laughed about how he got lyrics wrong. :)

  • These guys are pretty good, I never heard of them before.

  • @viscig60 really?? how old are you if you dont mind me asking? I love the beatles hahaa and im 15

  • @lilisakura1 Haha, it was a joke. My 12 year old loves the Beatles too. Beatles = Best band EVER!

  • @viscig60 Ooooh -__- feel like an idiot now xD

  • @lilisakura1 No worries! Just enjoy the music. With all the lousy music out these days I am sure there are many people who never heard of them.

  • @viscig60 Yeah I bet there are :( haha Beatles forever xD <3

  • AT 0:08 THE GUY IS RIGHT ...THE BAND IS BIGGER THAN JUSITIN BIBBER

  • love thebeatles so much,JOHN&PAUL ARE SO FREAKIN AMAZING<3 so are ringo&george;)

  • Words - schmurds! It's the music that counts! As long as Paul can play the bass line for this song, he's got a rightful place in history. it's truly excellent. Paul McCartney, master of the melodic walking bass line. But the minor screw-ups, and laughs about them, are fun to watch.

  • This video is such a cute one. I love the way Paul and John act together, like best friends. Paul's just acting too cute, mouthing the lyrics when John sings. And when John tries not to laugh, it's juste great! I mean, he still sings it so good! Oh George is just being so funny. Yeah George, you rock too !

  • dude, Paul is notorious for flubbing lyrics, even in the songs he wrote on his own! this video is cute though.

  • It's what one buddy used to call "those cream in your pants harmonies."

  • Showmanship. A good showman keeps going after a mistake. Bet the audience never even noticed.

  • Reason is prob bcus they sumetimes come up with these songs over night barely rehearse...and it still sounds awsome...pure genius i must say

  • he might forget the words but listen to his bass playing!!!!!!

  • @albumtoalbum

yeah he did forget the words but that happens all the time to musicians

  • The live performance of this song always reminds me of one of those things where they kept screwing up or mixing up which words are sung on which time and they got to the point where they just laugh when they get there. Anyone who's been in a band has probably had one of those.

  • i think the concentration of paul on that part is on the bass line,,,,just hear the notes of the bass,,,played in the chorus of "im a loser",,,then you would realize exactly why,,,me myself has been trying to do this in that song,,,and ugh! i could hardly pronounce the words due to focusing the killer bass lines..

  • Wow, really want to be there:( but unfortunately I am 15 and my mom was 3 months old when there was this presentation :( haha

  • This made me laugh. its cute

  • Paul may have forgotten the words but they were doing a live Under Dub. They were sing live with the record in the background. You can see it if you look close at the Harmonica solo in the middle and the ending. They were the best and they were probably forced to do it that way.

  • Paul's f44ked up! in this video. god bless him!

  • the smile John does at 1:09 is beautiful!

  • adorable..thanks for pointing it out, i otherwise may not have seen it..(the flub)..i just think the world of this band..and i just cant seem to get enough of em...what a contrast to the crap thats out today..thanks again..

  • John+Paul+Lucky girl= One hell of a threesome.

  • @CuteMcBeauty HAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • Who can find a friendship like John and Paul's? The only word to describe this frinedship is BEAUTY.This friendship is beautiful. And I say IS because it will never die.NEVER

  • I like how you pointed out the flubs. I would never had noticed. They were having a great time anyway. Enjoyed and added your video to my favorites.

  • Oh well it's still cute:P

  • I would be psyched if I wouldve been fortunate enough to see them live and I would've screamed a lot, but damn... those girls need to shut the hellp up when they are performing!

  • lol when i first heard the song, i thought the lyrics were "what have i done to deserve such a face?"

  • How does John play the harmonica and the guitar at the same time!! He is truely amazing

  • I would die if I saw them live...

  • Cutie Pies!

  • Dat hair.

  • Ohgod, yes John. You blow that harmonica. XDD <3

  • @NightmareLoveForever Screw the harmonica blow me.

  • I'm watching this at 3 am and i'm trying so hard not to squeal! *sigh* if i was a girl in the 60ies i'd be in the front row screaming my little heart out!

  • awww so cute all of them :)

  • When Paul & John share mics my head explodes. <3

  • @Lubbylove89 Haha, i love how they laugh together, so close to each other.. *heart breaks*

  • Paul never forgets the words...you're making things up in your head.

  • Someone's listening to Bob Dylan..???Hmm. John??

  • later on... John: "HEY!" George: "WHAT NOW?!!!!! STFU!!!!!" John: "HeeeeeeeeeeeeeHeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" Paul: "C'mon John! forget the words so we cancel the concert! quick before YouTube is invented and we are all over it!"

  • Paul: "I'm a loooooooooooooooooser! i forgot the lyrics, I'm ashamed of me!" John: "Got that right loser!" George: "WTF guys stop being jerks and SING DAMNIT SING!!!" Paul: "And though they weesy got blee blue jay goo, remember John?" John: "heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeheeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

  • Omg that was adorable how John calls out HEY and George says HEYY back. Omg they are so damn cute.

John and Geo are my favourite Beatles. EVER.

  • I just love them.... JUST LOVE THEM!!!! Everyday should include a dosage of some Beatles Tunes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Life without them would be SAD!

  • What the hell? Have the Beatles gone mad? :O Since when are you loosers? Naaah! You're just the greatest band ever!

  • gawd,,id love to be on stage with john i would laugh ma head offf

  • john´s hair style reminds me of emo hairstyle hahhahaha im not saying John was emo

  • @TheMarianitotv You mean emo hairstyle reminds you of John.

  • OK SO PAUL IS HUMAN AFTER ALL. IM SURPRISED

  • This Makes Me Smile Everytime I Watch It :')

  • xD 1:37

    John: HEY!

    George: HEY!

  • if John Lennon's a loser, WHAT ARE WE?!?

  • @Msemospongebob W.O's?

  • @mtsn haha, yeah.

  • @Msemospongebob Fucked ha

  • @ChrisArdcath yes... lol

  • @Msemospongebob

    To answer your question?

    We are...

Moronic humans scraping through life until we die!

John Lennon's no loser but Yoko got it all after his death!

  • @Godzie1 yesssss

  • @Godzie1 yea D8

  • they were soooo druged hahahaha

  • that was adorable! i do that alot btw when i forget stuff :p

  • Yeah, it looks like one of those things where when they were going over the song, trying to get thoroughly acquainted with the lyrics, they developed mental blocks over the chorus. So here they are live knowing they're going to 'F' things up at certain points and those sly smiles and laughs are like each the other acknowledging the 'F' ups. In the end, The Beatles knew that nothing was all that important that they couldn't have a laugh about it!

  • whatever! to all comments...the BEATLES will always be awesome no matter what

  • @pikagirl01 listen closely at 1:39. John backs up and says "Hey!" to George, and that's why George says "Heey!"

@Chiochipsrs that should answer your question, too. (:

  • The guy who's singing all the time is John Lennon, the guy who forgets the words is Paul McCartney, the guy who's playing so fucking awesome the guitar is George Harrison and the guy who's drumming and the camera doesn't film him is Richard Starkey aka Ringo Starr. Okay?

But... why does George does this "Heeey!"-thing and shakes his head? (*teenage fan girls freakin out*)

  • @pikagirl01 no...haha....that's was John. Don't question me, I know John when I see him.

  • @VideoKillledTheRadio hang on who exactly are we talking about the guy at 1:39 who said HEY HEEY? because the man at 1:39 is george when do u mean?

  • Comment removed

  • This is pure true talent music and everyone makes mistakes and i think it was only nerves. : )

  • I just love how they're in the middle of a live song, and Lennon is just like, "Hey!" hahahahaha (:

  • @VideoKillledTheRadio that was george harrison not john lennon

  • Favorite band since I was 11!! And now I'm 14. :D

    LOL

  • hella mistakes and still better than the shit people play today

  • I love this video!

  • it's good to see people who like this, real music, and it's good to be proud of liking this as well, a lot of people don't admit their great affection for art in fear of bad reactions from their peers. but seriously, age doesn't matter, all that matters is that we're on the same page lol :)

  • 0:46 mccartney frowns..hehehe

  • Just like brothers.

    I love that :)

  • Actually JOHN sang the wrong lyrics and Paul stopped to listen to where the hell he was going. Still spot on though! They do this often with each other. Many times John would intentionally do this to Paul to "try and make him crack." That was the game with them. With these two, Paul a musical genius and John a musical prophet, the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts. The universe has blessed us with the likes of John and Paul. Happy 70th John! "...we all shine on!" -JWL

  • This happened a lot! They had a lot of words to remember people! :)

  • I dont think he forgot the words I think he just didn't take a big enough breath and ran out and thats why they were laughin. Pauls mouth was moving but nothing was coming out.

  • You know what, I bet Paul was singing like a little dork over there to try to get John to mess up.. they did that a lot if you look closely in some of their videos!

  • I know that this video is mostly about john and paul but you have to admit gorge is soo cute at 1:38

  • 1:38 - George - So cute!!!

  • haha how cute george at 1:38 !! love this video

  • In my opinion, this is the first real JOHN composition. Contrary to what Rolling Stone Magazine's special edition tried to say, this is the first time John makes it personal.

  • Cutest video on You Tube! I couldn't stop smiling throughout the video! Although I've seen this before but every time I open it, I replay it again n again cause it makes me happy! And well I guess John and Paul were each others fan too! I mean you will see Paul in this video and a lot of other videos (even if he don't have any singing part) singing along with John! Same goes for John! This is how they used to appreciate each other!
