Thank God for a soloist who sings with such fervor in response to the text, instead of the all-too-common dessicated cantata singing we hear these days. Will all due respects to Nikolaus Harnoncourt, would be asking too much to have a photo of the tenor soloist, the excellent Kurt Equiluz, as part of this post?
This is too fast and the orchestra sounds too shallow. I prefer interpretation on modern instruments like Helmut Rilling.

The vocal line is still mostly a verse of the hymn, but a fine singer really helps, and we get one here.
