  • I have so much respect for Jennifer. She has been through so much, yet she is so strong. She's an inspiration. it was so heartbreaking when she saw the photos from her mum's book. The way she said "Where'd you get that?" was so sad. The interviewer was like forcing her to cry.

  • poor jen her mother is a witch. she looks beautiful to me and she has such a kind heart

  • I love Jennifer Anniston.

  • Diane is a deceiving, manipulative bitch. She acts all genuinely interested and sincere but you can see right through her.. She's attempting to milk the shit out of Jen's weaknesses and insecurities.

  • Man she deserves so much more, she seems like such a down to earth and genuine person

  • What did her mother say?

  • She doesnt say a mean thing about her mother. After what she did to her. THAT'S the mark of a well-bred, classy, wonderful woman. Team Jen.

  • im just loving jen all over again after this video

  • This really touched me.

  • @TheEmmyG92 OMG MEE TOO!!! were so alike :)

  • There are only two woman that can make me consider switching teams... Jen Aniston and Sophia Bush. Love!

  • if there was madonna instead of jennifer, she would have kicked diane's ass.jen's great, but diane uses her vulnerability and her pain to make a show.that's just low.she shouldn't have been so insensitive.she just thinks of the ratings and her show.i don't like to call people names, but what a bitch.

  • Jennifer Aniston's father deserted her and her mother for another woman. Didn't contact her for a year. Jen said her mother was a great mother. Okay, so Mom wrote a book about Jenn and Friends. For that, Jennifer Aniston shunned her mother? Didn't invite her to her mega million wedding to Brad Pitt, yet invited her dead beat father to the wedding? Ironically, Brad Pitt threw Jenn Aniston under a bus very shortly after this interview. Karma?

  • @ladylike1980 maybe you just don't understand how complicated one person's feeling can be. Have you ever had love and hurt for someone at the same time? That's why it hurts so much. If you don't know or never have it, then let me tell you, cutting out someone you love out of your life is very hurtful for both parties. There are probably more positive things being estranged than being in constant contact but always fighting with each other.

Time will heal. Just like Oprah said. I agree with her.

  • @ladylike1980 The book Nancy wrote wasn't about Jen and Friends, but a book full of Jen's embarrassing secrets. It's a big betrayal. Instead of waiting and working their dispute in private, she chose to do a full blown tell-all book about her and Jen. That book was released a few months before Jen's wedding. If you don't see it as a betrayal, then I don't know what to say to you.

I don't know about Karma, but her mom could have called her and apologized. That's just what Jen wanted, nothing else

  • @alolorunning

I did not read the book Aniston's mother wrote, but I read the reviews of the book.. Apparently, Aniston and her mother was estranged before the mother wrote the book. Her mother wrote she made deals with God for Jennifer to have a relationship again with her. I find this very sad. Yes, the mother should not have written the book. But, Jennifer said she was a great mother. No matter what you say about Aniston's father what he did was way worse than the mother.

  • @ladylike1980 even a "wonderful" person can hurt anyone. It's very clear from it that she doesn't understand nor wan to apologize. If she made deals with God, that's her story. She could simply just say "I'm sorry" instead of writing a book, basically saying everything is anyone's fault but herself. Yes, Nancy made a mistake. It was just a matter of time of WHEN Jen could forgive her. If i was Jen, I wouldn't call her a horrible mom either, i would say she's a wonderful mom who made a mistake.

  • @ladylike1980 But her dad did make it up to Jen. He was in Jen's life pretty much except those two years when he left. People do deserve second chance. But they must realize that second chance must be followed with remorse and effort. That's what he did. But her mother didn't. Why couldn't she accept that her daughter was angry at that time because of what she did? Maybe in time, she would have finally forgiven her. She should have just waited, instead of writing a book.

  • @alolorunning

With all due respect, I have children. It would be impossible for me to leave them - especially for a piece of you know what. Don't tell me this didn't have a huge negative effect on Jennifer Aniston's life her father abandoning her. Yes, he came back but how could he leave his young child behind for 2 years? Her mother raised her by herself. I hope mother and daughter patch things up. She's on the cover of People Mag. this week looking stunning as usual.

  • @ladylike1980 of course. I have a sense from the beginning that you might be a mother. But for me, forgiveness is hard but it's also important, at least for yourself. Look at the hurt that Jen had all those years not speaking with her mom, yes she cut her out of her life, but that hurts so much too just by doing that. It feels better to just move on. And if someone want to apologize and feel remorse, why not forgive him?

But now, everything is fine in Aniston family. So no worries.

  • Comment removed

  • @ladylike1980 Yes she never had children. But it doesn't mean a person couldn't understand love and hurts. Why loving someone and make them feel worthless at the same time?

Now about his dad. Yes, I think it's horrible what he did. From what I gather, it was a very ugly divorce. Her mom didn't handle it well, n I'm not sure what caused the divorce. But it was like a slap for Jen. from what happened to her parents, Jen learn how to handle her divorce from her own husband with dignity n moving on.

  • Comment removed

  • @ladylike1980 and by learning from her mom's divorce, I meant that she does not want to do what her mom did by her divorce because her mom didn't handle it well and made shots and Jen don't want to play that.

  • @alolorunning

Her mother made shots regarding her husband leaving her and her daughter for another woman? Who can blame her. You seem to give Aniston's crappy father - and yes, a man who leaves his wife and child for another woman is a crappy father even if he turned into a "Disneyland Dad" later due to guilt over being such a bastard. If Jennifer could forgive her crappy father hopefully she will extend the same kindness to her imperfect mother. I wish Jenn Aniston the best.

  • @ladylike1980 No, you don't understand my point, My point is it was Jennifer who don't want to be like her mother when she's dealing with her divorce. Not me. And I commend her for that. But if Jen was really angry toward Brad and made shots, I wouldn't blame Jen either. But she isn't. She want to deal it in classy manner. Isn't that wonderful?

I couldn't really say which one was worse, what her mom did or what her dad did, but she already did forgive both of them.

  • @ladylike1980 actually her father did come back to Jen's life two years later after leaving. They kept in touch.

So until her 18 birthday, she lived with her mother alone in NYC. Probably there were a lot of fighting she then moved in with her friends. By time she's 20, she moved in with her dad in LA to purse her career as an actress. Her father paid for everything and took care of everything, getting her agents, acting classes, help her diet, and everything, basically her dad helped her a lot.

  • Why they talkin bout' all that sentimental shit we want 2 see her tits Jenn's a hot peice o' ass

  • I don't know about her having a big heart.........I mean not talking to your mother for 8years is not a person with a big heart but a person who can hold resentments. Forgive your mother over a damn book! A book she never read. Did her mom said hurtful things about her in this book?? She said her mom is warm, loving, nurturing, wise then why let something like that keep them apart? I don't get it. A Lot of people out there would love to have a mom like the way she describes

  • @susiQ75 I think it's mutual. They both didn't talk to each other and were angry at each other at one point. Yes, the book consist a lot of hurtful and embarrassing secrets about Jen. You just don't understand that it was such a huge betrayal. And you talk about it like a little argument or something. The truth is, it was a mother and a daughter's disagreement for years since she was a child. There were probably a lot of pain and tears between all those years. But it's all fine now between them.

  • @alolorunning You don't judge a mother just like you wouldn't like your children to judge you. She said Her mother is a wonderful person who told her to keep fighting for what she wants. Never read the book before judging her. Pretty cold stuff. She can hold a grudge.

  • @susiQ75 Her mother could and did hold a grudge too. She went on and wrote a book consisting dark secrets of her own daughter, that is the thing that even her own friends avoid. I don't think Jen had a complete loving family. It wasn't until two years ago, she had her own mother, father, and brother all in the same room for the first time since she was 9.

  • @susiQ75 actually if you read the book, it's basically a story about how she (Nancy) was wronged by everyone in her life, how every thing was everyone's fault but her own. You should read it if you really wanna know why..

Of course she would say wonderful things about her own mother, I would have done the same too, but it didn't take the fact about their family feud. There are things that u can't control, and sometimes estrangement seems the right thing to do, let the time heals your wound first

  • @alolorunning I understand disagreements, hurt, anger. I also agree that there are lousy parents in the world. What I don't agree with Jennifer is saying all those wonderful things about her mother and then being estrange from her for 10yrs. I don't understand why she couldn't balance the good and the stuff and see what weigh more. Imagine what could've happen in those years. Was it worth it? I think what brought them together was her break up with Brad. She understood her mother better.

  • I love Jennifer Aniston. She reminds me of a wounded soul with a big heart. She is one of the funniest, sincere, beautiful, talented and honest actresses I've ever seen. There is an aura of vulnerability and sweetness that makes you wanna hug her. She seems so approachable and genuine and kind hearted.

  • wow! Jen is just the best person, i'd love 2 meet her, she's so humble and it's just amazing wish her the best

  • Jennifer kinda broke with Brad - not the other way around. She became disallusioned with the marriage...but they were still technically together....according to Sheryl Crow:

  • @hihosilverlining2 because he cheated on her with that angelina bitchy bitch

  • the bitch sawyer digs

  • Thumbs up for great people like Diane Sawyer and Jennifer Aniston!

  • Diane Sawyer is such a bitch. Seriously, there are moments when Aniston laughs out loud and Sawyer looks at her with such pitty!! Like she's trying to make us think "ohh, she's laughing but she's really hurting inside".

But I guess that's what TV is about.. Fake people!!

Sawyer is supposed to indroduce us to the real Jennifer Aniston and instead, she tries to introduce us to her own version on Aniston. Like what SHE would like Anoston to be in order for her to reach her goal and make her cry!

  • Wow!! She is so real!! its almost like being Rachel wasnt acting.. Its weird, but she is just so nice.. BTW: Diane Sawyer is a bitch.. shes looking at "jenny" like she feels bad for her. she is just so mean. Jennifer was a gracious person, and stayed true to herself, and was absolutely a pleasure to see! she has great morals!! Its almost impossible to watch because diane wants jennifer to cry.. she is like a "MEAN GIRL"..

  • Jennifer is almost perfect.

  • I can truly see the pain, anguish, and hurt in her eyes.

I only wish I was the other half to complete her existence.

  • Jennifer is soo beautiful...

  • Jen didnt look at those pics for a reason, Diana practically forces her to and on TV!

  • AJ should watch this to get down to earth and discover what a truly warm-hearted person acts like. Both are good actresses, but AJ just choosed being beautiful to a real acting and wants the people to see herself behind the character- while Jennifer seems to be a humble, sensitive person. Angelina just started to believe she is Lara Croft. I didn´t care about their relationships, but after this I just have to admire Jennifer as a person I would like to be a friend, sister or even a daughter of.

  • I wish much success, love and happiness for Jennifer.

  • what is it with you complaining about Diane making people cry?? don't you see that the whole point of these interviews she's making is to not make them about movies and things we can hear celebrities talking about everywhere? it's about discussing difficult things and making it all honest, which obviously involves real emotions. it's a nice change in this artificial world

  • Did anyone notice when Jen took out her phone and then Dianne bent over to see who it was?

  • ahhhaha xD her ring tone!!!!!!!!!! the expression on her face when she heard it! oh god that was funny.

  • This made me cry. when jen cried, i started crying for some reason. She's amazing<3

  • Wow Diane Sawyer just pulls the most random questions out of no where and makes it sound like she's making Jen take a test! Describe what you want you're mom to say in one sentence WTF

  • i just wanna hug jenn there :(

  • no wonder she's insecure..it's people like you who call this gorgeous girl "horse face" :(

  • she is sooo pretty !

  • never have liked diane as an interviewer....for obvious reasons..

  • My gosh, it seems like Diane likes to see ppl cry.

  • Jennifer seems so honest and real. I love that.

  • that's just horriable. omg ur bitch.

poor jen. i hope she would have just hit her and left. why make person cry ?

  • yeah whats wrong with diane!

  • i thought that was really low of diane sawyer to show those pictures to Jennifer, was she trying to make her cry?? why does she insist on being a 'psychologist' and uncovering everyone's 'dark inner self'. what a bitch. poor Jen, she is very strong

  • @thaiz91 , that's what is called interview. You ask question that reveals the most truthful information. Yes, it was difficult for Jen but Jen and Diane is considered as friends. They really are friends.

  • @thaiz91 It's called HIGH DRAMA & RATINGS. Networks exist and live for that shit.

  • @thaiz91 Diane Sawyer did the right thing. She opened Jen to show us all the good and fantastic about her.

    Jen <3

    Friends <3

  • @thaiz91 of COURSE she was trying to make her cry. It makes for a "better" interview. But with her, you don't need to pull emotions from her. She is fun and down to earth and just brilliant compared to some actors and actresses who thing they are God almighty themselves.

I don't think it was necessary here as Jennifer Aniston, herself, is enough.

Some actors/actresses don't know how to answer a question of "feel" what they are saying which, I guess, is why they have that awful technique.

  • @thaiz91 ... AGREED p:

  • @thaiz91 i know. its super annoying. she has done that every single person who has ever sat down in that chair.

    every. single. person.

and its sad but trust me, its for ratings :/
