Yeah, chapters is so annoying. I'm lucky where I live there are HUGE chapters stores and more than one but it doesn't stop them from having not too much anime/manga. I know one time I tried to preorder the last manga in a series and apparently they only has it in French. I've given up on them for buying manga.

@kikomojo Sadly I don't own them but, a few of them I have seen on the computer. I own Elfen Lied the complete set and 1 volume of Lucky Star so far. I have the first volume of Sola in manga form. I've seen a few episodes and I saw the complete set at Anime North (convention in May) but, didn't get it cause it was kinda expensive. Maybe next year. :3

If your looking for speciality anime, check out Cinema 1 it's a really good store there's different locations, the anime there it's usally on big sales which is really good!! so check Cinema 1 out!

we have an awesome anime shop here in adelaide called shin tokyo. If they sold out of your dvd or manga they'll happily order it in and they also sell great cosplay and figurines =D

didn't mean to sound like an advertisement there btw, Nice collection i'm only 14 so i don't have much only about 50 manga and maybe 4-5 seasons on DVD i got the same auzumanga omnibus though lol =D but i also love collecting like the figurines and stuff

i know you don't like ordering online but rightstuf is an amazing store for anime/manga and they are doing like the 12 days of xmas sale also if you have an FYE thats a good store to buy used they always buy buy 3 get one free so if you buy in lot you get good deals

oh god GANTZ is sooooo good. lol I bought first volume a couple weeks ago. and as for D.N.Angel, it is very good, and i have plans for getting it. also the Sgt. Frog is funny, i am renting those from library and have read volumes 1-4, it is good so far.

the best places to get anime that is not bootleg or expensive is ebay just have to look good like i just bought all of shuffle of 42 bucks canadian n when i found it at the store it was like 30 somethin for 1 vol lol crazy if there is any anime u want for cheap tell me n ill see if i can find one for u :)

It's a book store but, they do have a pretty decent manga selection. In my opinion Borders has a really awesome collection! But, I don't get there very often to buy anything. Anime North is actually the best for manga!

I know what you mean by the random volumes in stores. One of the manga I'm collecting is Moon Phase and they stock volumes 1,2,9,10 and 11 and the rest you have the order. Its so aggrivating.
