she lofted her 3rd throw her 1st 3 throws kept hitting the front of 1st pin instead of ight which she may get split or some pins standing but she got lucky strikes and the rest she did good as for the other nice job i like the back end and how it hits the pocket

Thank you Curtie. Thats my wife and she books about 210 and I'd put here up against just about anybody on a sport shot. She was also a member of the 2005 Pikeville College Women's bowling team that won the National Championship. So if she sucks then I would like to know what you think is good.

Nice vid. I wasn't happy with the BW. The surface was a pain in the ass for me (always needed tuning and absorbed oil too quickly). I'm gonna have to get a Beatn. The number one reason is the simple layout. No x holes and kicked out cg's and HMB's. Don't get me wrong it still has to be done right. HART in the track and pin placed accordingly. Sounds great!

I got this ball drilled on #1 Most Aggressive, medium track. It hooks pretty damn good. i bowled a 288 last night with that ball, good thing my lane was oily. i bowled that ball once on a dry lane...man it sucked..but anyways, its a pretty good ball.

I have this ball drilled for being aggressive. Stupidly, I polished it up earlier today and bowled league. Oh my god what was I thinking!? Completely lost the aggressiveness it once had. I'll never be polishing that ball ever again.

Got the Beat'n...15 lb; drilling #1; the guy put an X-hole in it. I'm not getting the hook I can see that this ball is capable of. It's obviously thrower-error on my part. Any suggestions on getting this ball to snap back?

This ball had be better than that Glorified spare ball call the NO MERCY. That ball should have been called the NO CARRY. Hated it so much I sold it for 25 bucks, as thats all anyone would give me for that POS

Ok, my only concern is that I keep reading that the BWP doesn't have as much total hook as the original. This is confusing because bowlingball dot com gives it a higher perfect rating and hammer claims that it has more backend than the BW. How much stronger is the "strong" drilling layout than the skid/flip one?

pearls arent going to hook as much as dulls n pearls have more backend to them n dulls hook earlyer and ive seen bwp's thrown but never saw the drilling n they suck for me i throw too hard

Thanks...I spoke with a rep from Hammer and he said the same thing. I understand that the Beat'n will outhook the BWP under any conditions. The Hammer guy basically said that a pocket shot with the Beat'n would be a 2-pin shot with the BWP--even at 4000 grit finish. I have a feeling that I am just going to get the BWP because it is more versatile and I can just bring down the finish if needed. I was interested in the Fury and Fury pearl but I'm a brand-loyal person. Hammer just delivers for me.

The No Mercy Beat'n is a great ball. Just one problem, do not miss left of your target, because it will not hold. If you miss right of your target, it has forgiveness and will hit the pocket.

It's been ages since I upgraded my ball arsenal. My tried and true ball was a gray Hammer 3D. It had a somewhat similar path to the Beat'n. I guess I'm wondering if the Black Widow Pearl is drilled for the strong layout with med. track, how similar of a path will I get as opposed to the Beat'n with the #1 drilling?

If I could find a ball that would carry the ten everytime I would be a millionaire because I could sell a ton of them. Carrying the corners is more about entry angle then ball selection. If you throw the ball like my lovely assistant Teresa, you should find a ball that will get you a nice angle to the pocket. The No Mercy Beat'n works really well for her because even with her low rev rate she can create the angle she needs to carry. Thanks for the comment! Average Joe

I throw the ball just like Teresa.... I'm looking to buy the beat'n, black w. Peral, fury peral....but im looking for that ball that kills the 10 pin, cuz when i bowl in league ill hit the pocket everytime and leave the 10 pin standing 50 percent of the time...any suggestions on what ball would fit me...or any other balls that i didn't mention. If you are looking for skid/flip then I would definitely recommendthe Black Widow Pearl. The Beat'n is a great ball but may be to aggressive for what you are looking for. Thanks! Average Joe

I am debating on a black widow pearl or a no mercy beat'n for the start of the upcoming winter league, but I can't decide which! I already have a No Mercy and Fury for heavy oil, but I want something a bit skid/flippier then the no mercy... I threw a friends Pearl a few days ago, and shot 232 and 226 with it, I really liked the reaction, but would I like the beat'ns more?

I don't use bowling shoes which gives me alot of torque and power at the line. Be careful because you can hurt your knee very easily. Thanks! Tony
