Hi Emil, in my opinion if you want the action cinema movies scenes to be your goal, you should exagerate all the movement you do a little bit more. Also it would help some suddenly accelerated bits, really 1 or 2 sec, followed by some slowmo action and actual speed ones. This would really help to render your scenes more dynamic (not you, you and your students already are dynamic more than enough) from the filming point of view. Hope this helps a little. Mauro.
Excellent! That must have been a lot of fun to put together. You guys did a great job. It would have been funny, though, if the protagonist started rifling through his attackers pockets, LOL!
Please offer any opinions on what you'd like to see personally as a fan of action cinema, would love to hear and learn from the audience. Thanks very much peeps, All the best!
@dshadow1 little time to trap and pause instead he uses minimal movement to maximum effect. I would expect if Emil were to encounter 3 armed men that he would use those trapping skills to break limbs/joints (hard to demo breaks/finger jabs on students w/o more special effects) while simultaneously unleashing some of his vast arsenal of finishing skills. This was well shot..hand moves are just fast enough to see clear for cinema yet display speed and skill deserving of a big screen.
im liken this and personally since this is cenematic u should add couple extra hits unless u tryna put the realness factor in play

How would you react to a hand gun being pointed at you from maybe 5ft away (just out of reach)?
