  • @pinball281 You are an idiot

  • All hail

  • BBC apparently received a few complaints from Christians stating that this was biased and disgusting, which I think is hilarious considering, even if that is the case, this is a six-minute blip on a network that has weekly programming such as Songs of Praise.

  • @Nogli perhaps we should have songs of atheism

  • @princebuster93 Yeah it's backward alright, as most people are religious; that's why it's backward.

  • i dont think the news anchor should really call religious people "stupid"

stupidity and delusional are different things,

you can be a moderately intelligent person and still fall for a con,

religion is no different, you can be right about some things and utterly wrong about others, it does'nt make you stupid.

  • This is why Britain > America, if there's somebody like Dawkins on the show there's no shouting moron named bill, no dumbass blondes who struggled with nursery math at the age of 24 and best of all, less idiotic American theists!!! =D

  • @DrBlueDot It's the one thing that gets me remotely patriotic. That and the NHS.

  • I hate the idea that atheists think that they have all the answers and believers are stupid. How arrogant is that. I respect atheists, but they should respect believers too.

  • @paulod27 They don't think they have all the answers, they think that someday they will and they are looking for them; as opposed to some believers who feel that all the answers lie in their holy book and see them as absolute truth and therefore see no value in other searches for truth such as science or even other faiths as they believe they have found it.

  • @Kebexious Very nice answer.

  • @paulod27 I don't think atheists believe they have the answers...but why should they respect believers, when they are demonstrably wrong? Would you respect an adult who thought Santa was real?

  • @dave28lax It's amazing that; when you ask a believer why they believe the bible or other holy books they always basically say ' because the bible says its true' or some other variation of that, and the irony completely escapes them.

  • @paulod27 Your utterly wrong, it's actually totally reverse, Atheists belief in something if it is possible while believers are just numbnuts. Any intelligent Atheist before making a clain will also add word theory which means it's possible but cannot be proven right now that its false or true, while idiotic believers would say it's true even though all the evidence is against it.

  • @Mindaugas7100 Another person who doesn't understand the scientific meaning of "theory".

  • @mikelheron20 Okay then if your know precisely what it is, tell me.

  • @Mindaugas7100 Theory: a coherent group of tested general propositions, commonly regarded as correct, that can be used as principles of explanation and prediction for a class of phenomena: Einstein's theory of relativity. Synonyms: principle, law, doctrine.

  • @mikelheron20 I see, thank you.

  • @paulod27 You're quite wrong. Atheists are ready to admit that they don't have all the answers. They are the first to acknowledge that there are things that science has not yet explained. They are quite happy to say "I don't know." I respect anyone who makes a genuine effort to understand by using their reason - which is why I have absolutely no respect for believers.

  • @mikelheron20 Agreed man.

  • @paulod27 Athiests dont think they have ALL the answers, but we have SOME answers at least dont you get it ???!!!!, 'Believers', however, have NO answers...(just stories). If you can't accept such a simple thing like that, then whether you like it or not, you are stupid. (or if it makes you feel better, God made you stupid)

  • 1:43 "Nobody believes that Lott's wife was turned into a pillar of salt"

Obviously never been to the USA. Bill O'Reily thinks Noahs Ark is fact.

  • 2:37 I think is the only time the world has seen Paxman smile...

  • awesome man, people will have to realise soon that evolution is a FACT its not open to opinion! Richard has the right idea stupid people who don't accept it and deprive there children of such facts are simply wicked!

  • We all have imaginary friends when we are younger i have grown out of mine unfortunately some people haven`t and i think his book will help kids understand and group with common sense

  • We are living in a backward and degrading society.....God is love and the creator of the Universal......We are not just flesh and blood we have a soul and are here on a spiritual mission......When we consider mere intellectual assumption and theory above the higher levels of consciousness, love and the amazing human spirit...we have forgotten who we truly are........Have a wonderful 2012 everyone

  • @princebuster93 Oh bore off you ignorant, self-righteous prat.

  • @princebuster93 Living a life of assumption is moronic, as intellectual beings we should not have to fill the gaps with idiotic blown-up myths about how we were all spawned on this rock.

Until you can prove the existence of a soul or your god i will continue having belief in the facts that are presented to me by the people who study the subject in question for their lives work over some moron with a book with "all the answers" written by a magic invisible man.

  • "One is false and one is true."

  • Dawkins at his logical scientific best!

  • With regard to the comfort/truth issue, I think it's a false dilemma, and I'm surprised Dawkins doesn't seem to think it is. See, truth is comforting. Knowledge is comforting. I find great comfort in the _fact_ that I don't need to fear death, for example. What is there to fear in going back to the state you were in when you hadn't been born?

  • @cruz1ale I think he was right to say we shouldn't put an emphasis on how comforting different claims are. It's simply irrelevant, if you actually care about understanding nature. Also I agree about death - there's no suffering in death. The process of dying can be quite unpleasant though, and obviously we would like to stick around until a decent age. There are some fears attached to death and dying, but at least we don't have to ADD fear of eternal suffering!

  • Mr Dawkin's thinks he evolved from a monkey.....your theories are not fact are they Mr "AGENDA"....Facts may seem to be in a state of permanence, but of course, they're not......How was I created....from LOVE....without it we wouldn't be here.....STOP pushing your clap-trap fake message......It's insulting to suggest that we have evolved from animals...even though alot of people act like them....especially grown men that are supposed to be in positions of honour,

    integrity and morals.

  • @princebuster93 Your "good book" may be on your side, but reality isn't. You can close your eyes, and plug your ears, and say "LALALALALA", but it will do nothing to change reality. My purpose is not to change my mind because I know you are most likely too far gone. I only want to heap upon you the abuse you so richly deserve you ignorant twat. Now be amazed as I do not reply to your reply.

  • @princebuster93 We ARE animals. And we didn't evolve "from" monkeys, we WERE ape-like creatures in our distant past (still are, in many ways - that's why we only have body hair in certain places!). And no, they're not fact, but even when a theory changes, it only typically does so in very subtle ways. We base our beliefs on what seems to be most likely given the facts. Evolution is very much fact. Gravity is only a theory, not a fact, after all, and yet it's just as likely.

  • @princebuster93 I think he said we share a common ancestry. That would be different. And I'll have you know, there are many types of apes, etc. that are pretty cool, intelligent, and live more harmoniously than many human beings especially ones that believe in religion.

"Monkeys" don't kill each other over shared imaginary friends. You have to ask yourself, who REALLY is the dumb species?

  • Jeremy Paxman: "Do you really care, that there are a lot of stupid people around."

Richard Dawkins: "I do actually yes, I really do."

Some inspiring words. Dawkins is awesome.

  • Dawkins all the way!

  • dawkins is a pimp

  • @sylviabombs15 and you`re his whore.

  • @ThreeLions89 your moms a whore, and her pussy stinks.

Dont tell her I still owe her 25 cents.....i only paid her half of her asking rate.

  • @sylviabombs15 ooooow...the bible-thumping idiot couldn`t afford his imaginary 25 cents...you could`ve asked to your imaginary friend in the sky !

    buahahahah idiot.

  • @ThreeLions89 Your the idiot. Im the biggest athiest in existence.

Re-read all mine and your comments. Being a pimp is a compliment where I come from.
