It's more like this:

Pretty much all you have to do is kill the Tree Spirit and even a level 3 could do that by savespotting it over the mushrooms with wind strike.

Some better tips on this quest:

You CAN bring runes onto the island.

You CAN make a weapon on the island, bring an iron or silver bar and a sickle mould, make a sickle at the furnace.

Make Ranged armour on the island.

Make Ranged weapons on the island.

There is a safespot for ranging/maging, at 4:18 you can see some mushrooms in the narrow part of the cave. Stand behind those, neither demons nor spirit can get you!

Another tip for the quest:

behing those 3 mushrooms south-east of the tree, there is a safe spot right in the middle of them

and you can bring runes or fletching eqipment once you get there :3

you can range it, you just need to bring all the equipment to fletch your arrows and bow once you get to entana

yes you can fight the spirit with combat, it is just recommended to use range or mage bc you cant bring weapons or armor in, you can melee if you want to use your bronze axe or punch it to death

OMG! 3.Prepare yourself at Draynor bank for the fight with a level 101 spirit without armor or a weapon. Bring good food, runes, or jewellry to teleport.

You can also bring crafting materials to create leather armor or snelms. Other supplies depend on whether you will be using melee/magic/ranged.
