  • BTW. It's extremely easy to get automatics. In most states they are legal to own, you just can't carry them.

  • wat did u pay for it

  • You go undercover often nutnfancy? For real though this video is just what I was looking for, thanks.

  • i got one nato switch blade in the uk ssshhhh dont tell the cops..

  • @mushismad u r so lucky i wish i could get 1 i hate uk laws

  • Hey Wat does everyone think about th piranha amazon??

  • you know that's a crock of shit saying it might be hard to get an auto if your not military or law enforcement even if their illegal in the state you live in you still can get one if your referring to section 1244 of the 1958 federal switchblade act why don't you tell your viewers that each individual state has its own laws on the purchase and carry of automatic knives .

  • In your opinion, what are your thoughts about automatic knife laws?

  • The handle of the Pirana is very grippy when I hold it.

  • hi nutn i am dating the cousin of the guy who makes or own or dezines piranha knives im not sure which one lol anyways i have the Piranha Blue Tri-Fold Manual could you review that someday it was given to me by my girlfriend and I would like to know more about it.

  • not for left handed

  • you sound a bit like heull howsner

  • what's the brand of the knife?

  • people think about the 2nd amendment only applies to guns. wrong. Every time a knife law is passed people go along with it (not me), but any gun laws people go ape shit. Knife laws are too strict.

  • seriously, who cuts like that

  • @Thespartan117992 most people

  • They sell knives like this (though I'm sure they aren't nearly as nice as this) at my local Walmart.

  • WTS a french army rifle, never fired, only dropped once :P

  • i have been a custom knife maker for 8 years and enjoy your review but piranha has vary high standards i personally own this model and it has NO play the mini guard is also in my collection and it to is vary well made so i find it vary interesting that you have had bad luck i hope you can one day see what this knife is without play i think it could use some jigging but outer than that it is a great buy, i hate to sound unprofessional but i HATE benchmade look up all the problems with them

  • these knives are not allowed in the U K

  • You can get these in New Hampshire. As of may of 2010, auto knives were legalalized in NH.

  • People die trying to get here because it is the greatest place on earth, and we built it with the common man's sweat blood and tears. Ordinary civilians side by side willing to pay for their freedom in blood. We carry because me must, because my forefathers call upon me to do so, because it is my duty.

  • @gabe562 Keep up that attitude and you may just save the world.

  • @Nurple17 Or just the U.S

  • There is no point in arguing with this idiot, churchx77. The kid is a fool, he keeps contradicting himself by say he "is done, bye" Fool said it about 43 times. I would like to know where it is he lives that is so wonderful. Probably an opressive country where he has been brainwashed into social programs are good, more Gov't etc...

This is the United States of America, A country of free thinking men and women, who progressed society and technology unlike the world has ever seen...

  • how much was this?

  • bewwwwwwts LOL testy pop!

  • I own and carry one. I am not in law enforcement or the military. Only slaves follow weapons laws.

  • @woodlandcammo27 Yeah, and people who don't want to go to jail and fuck their's and their families lives right up.

    Excuse my French.

  • Yeah, you a real freedom fighter.

  • @Churchx77 At least I do not worship government and rely on police. I am sure you shake in your panties when you here an odd noise outside.

  • You're the one that seem to be shaking as you brag about carrying a knife around. I got a bunch of knives, I practice a martial art that makes use of knives and I feel fine walking at any time of the day without a weapon. Whatever helps you sleep at night buddy.

  • @Churchx77 I would LOVE to learn your technique for taking someones gun from 10 yards when its pointed at your chest, cause until you can show me how, im gonna carry a gun.

  • You missed my point buddy. Sad but not unexpected.

  • @Churchx77 Actually, i was being sarcastic.

Im gonna carry anything the hostile might have, and more than likely they are gonna have a gun.

So your false sense of security cause you "practice a martial art that makes use of knives" is seriously flawed.

  • Who are the hostiles, what are you walking your dog in a warzone?

  • @Churchx77 The hostiles are the horrible things called human beings.

And we all know they never do anything bad at all.

  • They dont in my neighbourhood. So you either live in a shithole or you're a paranoid cunt. Arming yourself against the people that you seem to be. Im done here, goodbye and good luck with your war against the world.

  • @Churchx77 Youre living in a dream world if you think people are good.

And one day, somthing bad will happen to you, cause it happens to all of us eventually, and i will laugh, cause you were a dumbass.

  • Never said people are good. You're just a fucking idiot walking around with a firearm. But hey you're the one carrying an extra load for no purpose, just cos. And thats not a good reason but like I said Im done here, bye.

  • @Churchx77 You seriously believe im carrying a gun for no reason?

    •One murder occurs every 31 minutes (that's 46 a day!)

    •One forcible rape happens every 5.8 minutes (that's 248 a day!)

    •One robbery transpires every 1.2 minutes (that's 1200 a day!)

•And one aggravated assault takes place every 36.8 seconds (that's 2345 a day!)

    Thats in the united states.

That is why i carry a gun.

  • Well I dont live in the United States, thats why I dont.

  • @Churchx77 That sucks.

  • Not really, crime is not as high. Going grocery shopping is not a combat mission.

  • @Churchx77 Its not a combat mission here either, but it might become one, so i am prepared, and you can not belittle me because i am prepared.

  • is this a good knife

  • Aye Canada knife laws are ridiculous. Let's say I'm a criminal and I just want to stab, kill or rob somebody really bad, but all of a sudden I can't get a hold of a switchblade because they are banned. So the logic behind the law being that since I can't get a hold of a switchblade

"Oh man! I guess I'm not going to commit an offense with an edged weapon in the near future! Darn..."

It makes no sense whatsoever. Zero logic involved with many Canadian laws.

  • @xHOLYROLLERx hey, hey, hey! don't single out canada, they do that here in illinois as well

  • I've never understood the reasoning behind banning switchblades. What, you can't kill someone with a thumb stud or flipper knife? I guess not. SOG Aegis, CRKT M21, Cold Steel Espada XL, all completely harmless. Nope, couldn't hurt someone with one of those if you tried. And assisted opening knives are just way too slow to be able to hurt a person. That extra hundredth of a second to open makes it incapable of inflicting harm.

  • @fidgetingfinch But, you have to think of all the irresponsible people that would take a beautiful knife like that and try to use it for killing people and pets and stuff.... .there re a lot of sick people out there. But i like your reasoning.

  • @TheVincenzoToto It is indeed lamentable that switchblades (and even other knives too) are often associated with and involved in violent crime. You always hear on the news about the one guy who decided to kill an innocent kid with a switchblade. The news makes no business in reporting the 100,000 other people who carried a switchblade and inflicted no harm with it.

It's hard to imagine a headline reading, "Man carries Piranha Bodyguard and does no evil". They wouldn't sell papers.

  • so whats your favorite autoknife?

  • where did you get this, and how much?

  • lol well im not law enforcement or military and i just get online and order an auto knife and i get it not too difficult

  • I find it funny you say Piranha's have soo much play, when the piranha excalibur has less play then any Microtech OTF knife. And I would definatly want it to sit low in the pocket since its illegal to carry. But I still am going to buy an Excalibur.....someday.

  • The blade practically 'appears' at the top @_@ Or it's your cam?

  • @KyoruMizuruki Its a very fast knife, the camera cant keep up.

  • do you know what the autoknife law is like in washington?

  • @master5775 I am in Oregon, and they are illegal in both states. Unless the blade is UNDER 2 inches long, (I think the limit is still 2 inches but I could be wrong, thats what the law was when I was in highschool and Im 22 now) Just look up california legal switchblade law and follow that because cali has the most strict knife laws in the country. If its legal in cali, then its legal in all states.

  • you're kind of a sucker for expensive gimmicky knives.

  • I can carry a loaded gun with a permit but I can't carry an auto knife. Pffft

  • @xXBallistic82Xx I used to be a drug user(Pot), but I have turned my life around and now work undercover for the DEA. I carry 1 OTF, and 2 side openers when i can't conceal a gun. I asked the same question and all of the DEA agents I have talked to said the law was made in the 40s and 50s and has never been revisited. Usually law enforcement will not take them away unless they are just in a bod mood. Even law enforcement think it is a stupid law. If I am going to stab u, i know before i deploy

  • @skatepunk677 what type of OTF knife do you carry?

  • @crazyFLkid I carry a Benchmade Infidel

  • @xXBallistic82Xx ya i like that to you can carry a loaded gun with a license in your pocket but not a auto knife that is amazing and you would think that it would be the other way around and ya repeated what you said

  • @xXBallistic82Xx in Canada where I live no one can carry switch blade knife ever or knife with a blade over 4inches in a city without going to jail :(

  • @monkeyat12 assuming everyone where you live is searched upon entering the city.

  • @xXBallistic82Xx welcome to america :D

  • @xXBallistic82Xx exactly! in my state i can carry a loaded gun hidden or exposed, in public with no permit, but i cant carry a knife that opens with a push of a button (if the blade is more than 3 in)

    its stupid really

  • @xXBallistic82Xx you need a permit to carry!!! oh snap!!!

  • fer an auto nife

  • loved this vidieo

  • why do u take forever to show the blade?

  • just wondering what does this knife score on your likability scale

  • What is your favorite brand of knife Benchmade or Kershaw but for coolness.

  • mine would have to the benchmade infidel. I love that knife. I own one but i never use it.

  • Nice looking knife!

PS: I think they use Comic Sans font on the blade... one of the stupidest fonts on Windows. Kinda negative for me.

  • im going to the miltary in 3 years

  • irrelevant :P

  • what do u mean

  • cool vid

  • Yes and in my experience on a spear point blade the tip is going to be brittle if you do stab or use a thrust attack with it the tip can be briddle and could possibly break!

  • 2:07 lol

  • how much does it cost?

  • i live in texas...would i be even to purchase a knife like this. a auto knife or otf kinfe.

i know i cant carry it around but im confused if i can even purchase this and send it into texas..

    please inform me thanks

  • Sweet knife, I have a piranha fingerling that i bought based off your review of it and just live it. Pirana knives are great and i just might have to puck up a bodyguard. Great Review keep up the good work dude!

  • whats all this nonsense about autoknifes for only military/law enforcement, here in idaho they sell switchblades at sportsmans warehouse and whatever pawnshop you come across

  • cool review i like bigger blades tho. other than that kool job man. and wheu said your going to fix up that one part of the handle with skateboard tape u mean grip tape dude thats whats on skateboards

  • im 16 and own 6 auto knives, auto knives arnt hard to get if you hav access to the internet, u can use gift credit cards that you can buy at ur local store as a credit card if u cant get access to a real credit card

  • same here! somebody gave me on of those. i swore i would buy a auto with it

  • still can't carry it (legally)

  • @snipej1 Your account says 28.... Aren't auto knives illegal? I know they are in NY, NJ, NC, SC and in Canada...

  • @shadowblack1987 i know my account says that, not my real age though, just says that so i can watch videos that need a birth date confirmation. and yes in some states they are, but here in oregon we have very relaxed knife laws to basically autos are legal if it is not concealed.

  • @snipej1 almost every good damn knife is made in oregon!

  • Why would you carry this as EDC? This is a defensive weapon.

  • any knife can be used in a EDC roll, it is just a measurment of the practacality of them, it would be a good EDC becuase it is small and light

  • i cut off my pinkie with a boker kalashnikov. no joke. i stabbed a tree and the bitch broke and sliced that shit off.

  • haha dont worry i was being a tit and thought you meant the rifle

    =]

  • Hahaha, Sliced that shit off.

  • Comment removed

  • for pitbull813, these reply buttons work like once out of every ten times

  • which is the crkt knife he showed??

  • is it ok on the spring to store an automatic knike closed or should i leave it open? i use the benchmade auto stryker

    thanks!

  • if it is a high quality auto, it shouldn't matter... i could be wrong though...

  • open store any auto open exept microtech ultratech it stores both ways easy

  • Here in Florida it is legal to carry an auto so long as it's not concealed. That being said I would say that it would be up to the discretion of a LEO if the pocket clip being exposed is enough showing to consider it concealed or not.

  • that is why i have a cwp they can't sat crap either way

  • Depends where the point is placed. It can be very effective!

  • The law on switchblades, is that a law from a certain state or is it a federal law?

  • USC is US code.

  • it deployed so fast it allmost looked like the blade came out of the front, allsome

  • i do like auto knives... but i once had a problem with it in a situation where i really needed it. the spring in my knife broke at the time i needed it for my defense.

since then i always carry a normal onehand knife as a backup(well also a neckknife and a bootknife) i just lkike knives and well it helped me out of difficult situations more the once

  • where do you live?

  • holland/netherlands

  • That is an awsome knife, I do like my knives to lock up tight also, but this still wouldn't keep me from buying it, Awsome review

  • I think auto is ok :P but i rather pullout its probally more safe & less dodgey.

  • I'd rather have the cadet!

  • awesome knife, I've been thinking about getting an automatic, is that knife expensive? Nice vid

  • How Much Was that ?? Very Good Knife

  • about 130 pretty cheap compared to alot of autos

  • Right on Nutn! Tell it like it is! Cool vid man, Keep on crankin' 'em out bro!

  • Most all online knife dealers WILL ship auto knives anywhere in the US provided you check a box that states you "know the laws" and take full responsibility, etc, etc. I live in the peoples republic of California for example but have had no trouble ordering Protech autos from Protech approved online dealers. Ironic that Protech is a California based company!

  • Sexy knife!

  • Nice!

  • Whoa...Thought something was in my water when the screen blurred out LOL. That auto looks tight. Peace
