sounds like a blind guardian song. now I know where hansi got inspired from for the operatic style of singing. these men are the reason I'll never stop listening to harmony.
@9tome6 I believe it is because everybody thinks that freddie is the intelectual author on everything queen did.... Now that I've read a little , I realize but dont take credit away from freddie, he was amazing...
@DannyElitap I wasn't trying to take credit away from Freddie, sorry if it came across that way. Freddie is amazing, it can just get a bit irritating when all that people post on Queen related media is "FREDDIE THE BEST" etc.
BohRhap was fine the first 10 thousand times we heard it haha---it is nice to have access to all of Queen's music on computer--forgot how much I loved this song.
It kinda annoys me that young girls come to youtube and see "Somebody to love" by queen and they ask (with a higly frequence voice) "Is this a cover of the Justin song"..... I dont want to live on this planet anymore ._.
Superb song. I can see why people wouldn't like the middle bit. But I do, it's experimental, like Bohemian Rhapsody. It's an outstanding record for it's time and Queen even considered releasing it as a single from the album.
this is much brilliant then all those ac/dc, led zeppelin, metallica tunes which sold millions... not that i don't like or appreciate them (metallica is one of my favorite bands), but this is a whole different level of music composition... compared to the popularity of this and ac/dc.
(talking about music with respect, i don't even mention pop here)
This song is the most AMAZING ever... totally psychodelic, the very spirit of rock, it just goes beyond anything. The first time I heard it I couldn´t believe... the chorus at 3:30, the lyrics... everything.
Man...Mindblowing....it get's a little bit stange in some parts of the fugue...... but still a point completely out of the curve in rock-pop music..maybe even any stile of music on the 1900's.
A well produced video. Im a Queen fan (dispite my user name) for many years, and had to take a double look at this video. Well designed and edited..its harder than it looks I know. Well done for this video making. Thy shall 'bookmark' this as a Queen vid to show at parties etc.
@zxzxznapalmdeath It's made by Queen Productions and is taken from the official Night At The Opera DVD, so that might be why :D The footage of Earl's Court is integrated very nicely
I have been looking this song for a long time. Since I was 8 and my dad played it blasting loud and When I head Freddie sing "Oh people of the earth! Listen to the warning the seer he said. Beware the storm that gathers here... Listen to the wise man!" I knew it was and is going to be be Epic.
Stop over explaining this shit, the recording should stand for itself as it means something different to everyone that hears it. That's the signature of brilliant music.
I think a proper thing to do would be to release a highlight box set of all the Queen songs that are not mainstream or in the limelight. Sure, I like all the big hits but there's a whole bunch of songs on all the albums that never get any airplay or recognition. This is one of those songs!
