  • Well.. Freddie Mercury is not a prophet,he is GOD!

  • this is not a song, it's a fucking masterpiece! The best Queen's song ever! In addition, a perfect image editing ... Great! lml

  • 7:16 !!!! so powerful!

  • a great song from a brilliant album.

  • Very good video! Well done, chapeau.

  • Man...this brings back memories..this is as good as I remembered :)

    great video 2, thanks !!

  • sounds like a blind guardian song. now I know where hansi got inspired from for the operatic style of singing. these men are the reason I'll never stop listening to harmony.

  • Better than Bohemian my ass. By Queen standards, this OK at best. The middle is totally erratic and annoying.

  • @jgossettga impressive as hell though.

  • i love this song... so... i think that this song and the bohemian rhapsody are the best songs of queen

  • @9tome6 I believe it is because everybody thinks that freddie is the intelectual author on everything queen did.... Now that I've read a little , I realize but dont take credit away from freddie, he was amazing...

  • Comment removed

  • @DannyElitap I wasn't trying to take credit away from Freddie, sorry if it came across that way. Freddie is amazing, it can just get a bit irritating when all that people post on Queen related media is "FREDDIE THE BEST" etc.

  • This song is pure epic. The guitar work and compositional skills from Brian let me freeze in awe every time i hear it.

  • wow am I at the Renascence festival

  • OKAY, I FRIGGIN' GET IT, YOU KNOW.

  • BohRhap was fine the first 10 thousand times we heard it haha---it is nice to have access to all of Queen's music on computer--forgot how much I loved this song.

  • LONG LIVE BRIAN MAY!!!

  • what a song

  • the middle part is Art

  • In my opinion even better than bohemian rhapsody.

  • @NoUsernameGoodSir Yeah, I also think this is better than BohRhap. It's friggin' brilliant.

  • @NoUsernameGoodSir Yes, much better.

  • @NoUsernameGoodSir

Most Queen songs are. Bohemian Rhapsody is, in my opinion, the most overrated song by Queen.

  • @mariocolon95 "Now i know, now i know (now i know), now i know (now i know, now i know)..."

Bohemian Rhapsody was my favorite from them, but this one is just fucking brilliant. I'm deeply in love with it.

  • A brlliant job by the Queen! Try to listen the middle part (canon) while high :D

  • @9tome6 Totally agree...

  • Already heard this song as a little boy .... always listening to wise men since

  • Thank God for Queen.

  • not many people know this but the entire vocal acapela harmony part was recorded in one take. freddy was an absolute master and genius!!!

  • most gifted band of all time

  • I can't believe there are actually people who dislike this. This is the most underrated song EVER.

  • Superb song. I can see why people wouldn't like the middle bit. But I do, it's experimental, like Bohemian Rhapsody. It's an outstanding record for it's time and Queen even considered releasing it as a single from the album.

  • thanks dad for playin this when i was young i owe you one

  • 3:28 This is an EARGASM!!!

  • this is much brilliant then all those ac/dc, led zeppelin, metallica tunes which sold millions... not that i don't like or appreciate them (metallica is one of my favorite bands), but this is a whole different level of music composition... compared to the popularity of this and ac/dc.

(talking about music with respect, i don't even mention pop here)

  • You can't say what genre of music it is

  • Me hubiese gustado irme contigo, pero como no me querías....

  • Oh yes, R.I.P. Freddie. It´s been tough without you here, while the Heaven is definitely having the greatest party since Hendrix crossed its gates.

  • @maumedina292003 Don't forget John Bonham :)

  • This song is the most AMAZING ever... totally psychodelic, the very spirit of rock, it just goes beyond anything. The first time I heard it I couldn´t believe... the chorus at 3:30, the lyrics... everything.

  • Such an amazing song. The acapella part is so erie. When I heard that on headphones the first time I was like OMG!!!

  • infinito!!

  • Easily their best song and it hasn't even gotten 300 000 views.

  • I can imagine Ronnie James Dio singing this.

  • Man...Mindblowing....it get's a little bit stange in some parts of the fugue...... but still a point completely out of the curve in rock-pop music..maybe even any stile of music on the 1900's.

  • BRIAN MAY IS ONE OF THE GRATEST GUITAR PLAYERS IN HISTORY, AND HE WROTE GREAT SONGS TOO, THIS IS AN EXAMPLE.

  • @fmrc1963 Fukin A

  • epic song indeed very unique who ever produced is a genius plus strong vocals :D

  • This is one of best songs that I've heard!

  • queens most badass song.

  • A well produced video. Im a Queen fan (dispite my user name) for many years, and had to take a double look at this video. Well designed and edited..its harder than it looks I know. Well done for this video making. Thy shall 'bookmark' this as a Queen vid to show at parties etc.

  • @zxzxznapalmdeath It's made by Queen Productions and is taken from the official Night At The Opera DVD, so that might be why :D The footage of Earl's Court is integrated very nicely

  • I have been looking this song for a long time. Since I was 8 and my dad played it blasting loud and When I head Freddie sing "Oh people of the earth! Listen to the warning the seer he said. Beware the storm that gathers here... Listen to the wise man!" I knew it was and is going to be be Epic.

  • Volume button cranked to the max, ears inducing a musical orgasm!

  • certainly freddie is the best male vocal...

  • 5:52 :)

  • Where are the reactions' buttons?

  • those who gave dislikes surely been under the influence of drugs

  • queen sounds like gods

but this video sounds like shit

  • Freddy the prophet of perfekt Rock. R.I.P father of vocals

  • amazing song amazing version

  • Heaven as music...

  • Best song ever written. And this is from a person who listens to a wide range of music from bluegrass to metal.

  • This song sounds really metal

  • This should get at least fucking 200 million views!

  • @aboriginalmang I agree! But everyone can't have this good taste in music ;)

  • i soooo LOvE prog, Queen is simply awesome with this genre :))

  • That is an unbelievably amazing song! Worthy of immortality! Jimmy Page take note!

  • Brian May,, You are a genius!

  • i was so proud when i learned the words to this. i just screamed along with it "SO GRAY IS THE FACE OF EV-ER-Y MORTAAAL!" lol memrieeees

  • @icantstopchewinggum That's great! :) I'm also learning the lyrics of this precious song.

  • love of my life

  • Stop over explaining this shit, the recording should stand for itself as it means something different to everyone that hears it. That's the signature of brilliant music.

  • Now I know ∞

  • This song is Brian's Bo Rap, amazingly beautiful song!

  • Absolutely Fabulous. I love Freddie and Queen. Their talent just blows me away.

  • Квин 70-хх - это целая эпоха.

  • DIvinaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • My favorite of all, Queen! Great video, thanks for sharing and regards from Brazil ;)

  • Fitting for today's view...

  • The best Queen song..

  • M A S T E R P I E C E

  • Their best song. Commenter is right---it is their most underrated song!

  • <3

  • this to me contains all that Queen do , pure class , sleep well Freddie

  • This is still one of my all time favourite songs. Just totally brilliant. RIP Freddie, 20 years ago today, and you are sorely missed.

  • This, March of the Black Queen and Teo Torriatti have to be the best songs ever written.

  • When I first bought this cassette tape and heard this song I had to rewind it and max it out. 2nd best song on the tape.

  • This song is unreal! These days It'd be impossible for ANYONE to write such an amazing song like this.

  • 7:09 freddie could kill a man with that swing!

  • THIS IS THE FUCK AMAZING REAL ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!

  • I think a proper thing to do would be to release a highlight box set of all the Queen songs that are not mainstream or in the limelight. Sure, I like all the big hits but there's a whole bunch of songs on all the albums that never get any airplay or recognition. This is one of those songs!

  • This is insanely good.

  • QUEEEN LIVES FOREVER

  • There are good music bands...and there are outstanding musicians...but only a few become a legend...EPIC!!

  • It don`t get much better, people!

  • la la salalala la la :)

  • The music is too good to be described with mortal words, but some of the outfits they wore over the years were crimes against nature.

  • love tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much

  • La primera cancion de power metal.... ImI

  • this song is just epic

  • Aunque desde pequeño venía escuchando las tipicas canciones de Queen (we re the champions, we will rock you etc..) A Night At The Opera es mi disco favorito! Larga Vida A La Reina!

  • Another fantastic song by Brian May. The legend with also great hair :). I will love Queen for ever. Their songs are beautiful, clever and eternal. Sadly I was born after Freddie went up the stairway to heaven. Freddie,John,Brian and Roger are my heroes. I´m so grateful they shared their music with us! This is the reason why I love rock and metal so much and why I play the guitar and write songs. All because of them. Queen is awesome and will always be awesome. Peace.

  • "A night at the Opera" is always one of the best album of all time in which we understand that: Queen is 4ever, Freddie is a genius n' Brian is fcuking awesome !

  • I had completely forgotten this absolute masterpiece!

I used to listen to A Night At The Opera in my father's car and this song always blew me away... Bring me back wonderful memories, thank you!

  • ce clip est une merveille ! merci pour ce cadeau

  • *_______________________* Splendida ♥

  • early queen were so good

  • the first power metal song...........

  • @covercury I thought It was rainbow who had the first power metal song?

  • @covercury really? you mean that?

  • @covercury this is not power metal.. is progressive rock man

  • @nickalexg yeah ...im not a fan but i still love the ''old stuff''...this is from night at the opera i had a lot more hair in those days lol.

  • @nickalexg yeah, obviously it's progressive, but power metal is also progressive metal, when we are referring this song as a pioneer of power metal It's because we can deduce ALL Blind Guardian (one of the pioneers of symphonic power metal) from this song. Recognized by them. (and also they have a album titled "a night at the opera" in hommage to Queen). I love prog rock and this is a prog rock song, but also this song sets the basis for an important part in the development of power metal

  • @HombreAproximativo thanks for the explanation but i'm not sure that power metal is also progressive metal.. anywhere i could we wrong so viva queen!

  • @nickalexg sorry, I think I'm explaining bad. I only want to say with "also" that most of the power metal bands emerged by the influence of the prog rock style (complexity, harmonies, conceptual albums, presence of rhythm guitars and keyboards, etc...) , I don't want to say that "power metal = progressive" (and I prefer prog rock). Sorry for the confusion, I only want to say that "The Prophets Song" is a progressive song, but also pioneer of power metal. My english sometimes it's so bad :D.

  • @HombreAproximativo ahora si estamos de acuerdo.. de todas formas hay muchas canciones de las cuales podria decirse lo mismo, muchas canciones que influenciaron el estilo

  • @covercury NO ES DE RONNIE JAMES DIOES LA PRIMERA CANCIÓN DE POWER QUEEN TIENE LA PRIMERA CANCIÓN THRASH METAL Q ES STONE COLD CRAZY

  • One of Queen's great, lesser known songs.

  • @mranamtip totally agree

  • 12 people doesn't listen to the warning that the seer said......

  • blows rhapsody away, and i love rhapsody, dont argue with me lol this is queen at their absolute finest

  • my favourite part is 0:00 - 8:22

iconic band! amzig vocals and im glad i found out about Queen, they are before my time freddy died about 5 or so years before i was born and the world would be lost if these had never taken to the stage! Brian may - noone can play guitar like he can. i also like the miracle where all the kids dressed up as each of them.

  • I still think this is one of the best songs Queen ever did, the harmonies are amazing. Probably my favourite of all their stuff.

  • the canon part kicks ass :D

  • this highly cool thank you for posting

  • I also remember when I found this, Still think this is the best Queen song...

  • Great Job!

  • La leyenda cuenta q ésta canción inspiró al Power Metal ¿qué creen?

  • This song rocks :-))

  • Every time i pull this song up i have to like it for more likes :D

  • I hate Queen. But this song I love. Can't help it.

  • THIS SONG KICKS SO MUCH ASS
