@bluesman18064 Thanks, the video lessons has become a hobbie and I've learned so many songs I have to go back and review my own lessons to refresh my memory (teach myself LOL) ~ Joe
@gtrjoeles Thanks man. I truly appreciate that. I play this song with my "Basement" band. I'm good enough to play it. But I'm not good enough to figure it out on my own. I love the orig solo and even if I modified it later, I want to make it the basis of my solo.
its kinda hard hitting that seventh, gotta really stretch, or is there a secret/ cheat, like staying close to the fret line as possible , hope i made sense here.
@jetshull Agreed, it is difficult. What I do is keep the index finger in place and "stretch" or move all my other fingers off of the frets so the pinkie can reach. If you watch the video you'll see this. I used to try and keep my ring finger "in place" for the chord, but it was too much of a stretch to the 7th. Take it slow and build up to it. Hope that helps ~ Joe
Please note that Hunter recorded and plays the song in open G which changes a lot to the guitar tone and "smooth" chord changes( from G to D for example).
I just went to your channel to check out your other videos. Holy shit!!! You have excellent taste in music.

Good lesson. Is there any chance you can demo the original Mick Ronson solo?

@bluesman18064 I've always played my own solo, but I can take a look at it. ~ Joe
