@rusciano9 We setup this pool during the summer. The days prior to this were very hot. We set it up on this wonderfully cool day. Also, as my son and I were setting it up, he spoke words I wanted to hear. "Well dad, at least it is not hot today." I'm personally not interested in hearing negative or statements that do not advance us or others. In conclusion, this was an excellent day to setup the pool. The rain provided us an opportunity to shine. Cheers Rusciano9
@bburago9 It depends on where you purchase the pool. I have seen them from $800 to $1400. This one is a 12 x 24 with salt and cloth filter system. We upgraded the filter to a sand filter. My family has enjoyed this pool.
I went to a local sand pit to obtain sand. They offered two types of sand, rough and masonry. The masonry sand was sifted to be finer and cleaner sand than the rough stuff. I obtained 3.5 tons of it for about $80 bucks. My ground was not all that un-level and that amount worked for me. The method I used to level the sand was with rakes, shoves, 10' 2x4, and a level. It would have been better, mind was slightly un-level, if I had a 12' 2x4. It is pretty close to level and works. Merry Christmas!
HI iv just purchased the same pool and the ground isn't level , there are 2 options one is get a back ho and dig it up to a level surface and the put some sand down, what type of sand not sure yet as int ex states not to use sand, 2 don't dig it up and just fill the area with the sand till i reach a level surface, ur input or anyone who has the same pool would be appreciated,
great video - picked up my 18" x 9" x 52" yesterday. Still in box as I had no time to put it up, but today (if it's NOT raining) I plan to do it. Can't wait!!!

@DJdelfoimperatore Right at $1200 delivered. We upgraded the filter system that came with the unit to a sand filter salt system for $250 more this year. Excellent investment!
@MrPickron You know, it will be a great idea to post a video of your filled pool! I am thinking about buying one exactly like yours. currently I have a 15x48 round intex pool and this is the fourth season we use it successfully.
Jcims: The pool came with a salt and cloth filter system. This was only feasible for one year. Then we just purchased a new Intex 2650 GPH Krystal Clear Sand Filter & Saltwater System Pump to replace the original… 100% better! We filled the pool with the water hose, then added about 100lbs of salt. This is an excellent pool. Our kids are enjoying it right now as I type.
why do it in the rain??

@MrPickron also, did a surface skimmer to attach to the filter come with the swimming pool?
DJdelfoimperatore 6 months ago
@DJdelfoimperatore A skimmer did come with the original setup. The skimmer, IMHO, is a must for quality filtering of the pool.

@MrPickron can you post a video of your new filtering system?

@rolagzz20 Yes... Our family had a blast putting this pool together. As you can see, it was relatively simple to construct. Cheers!
