Hi brilliant review it was very helpful. I'm looking for a simple camera that could provide vivid high quality photos for outdoor photo-shoots. Would you recommend your Olympus EP2 over your X1 or is your X1 more satisfactory to use and for results at 100% on your computer ect? A reply would be greatly appreciated, thank you and kind regards
There's absolutely no reason to buy one of these since the Fuji X100 was released and is better in every conceivable way. Leica seriously need to step up their game or reduce their prices. The X1 is only of interest now to die-hard Leica fanboys.
hello thanks for the very informative review I would like to ask you as I am a Photography novice but always wanted a Leica and thought I had found the model that suited my needs and price range in the X1 but after hearing your review I am sure its not for me; you see the primary use of this camera for me would be as an about town memory catcher but also as a way to document my work which is the restoration of antique cars and aeroplanes this aspect of use requires some very detailed micro shots

I got very professional time-lapse videos with camera! cool sunset videos!
I wish so much that the X2 will have a stiff lens that dosnt come out when powering up and i wish that you can manually focus the lens directly with the lensfocusring mechanically. And i mean mechanically focus not this focus by wire thing, i like the smoothness of mechanical focus ring. Maybe Leica could add an OLED Display with high resolution and F2.0 or below. Leica need to make the zoom level much higher when manually focussing

Leica x2 will most probably be full frame with a 35mm fixed lens
