  • 51 people are teenage girls that believe their key to happiness is through fashion and trendyness

  • @Brianmaitland Not really, i'm 12, i've listened to this all of my life since i was 3. Ive seen these guys live twice and i love them.

  • @Ellieeeexxxxx

Your comment gives me faith that I'm not the only teen to love Stereophonics.

  • I'm sorry, but this version is a disgrace to Chase.

  • @imthedrummer1 How can it be a disgrace to Chase? The original was by Chris Farlowe. Check your knowledge before you start trolling, and leave this video of an amazing cover by Stereophonics.

  • @maxitall At least someone commented this, thank you, all the dickheads going on about Rod Stewart too, his wasn't the original either!

  • @Mihcaelkoppel YES! Someone who knows there stuff! Thanks, and I know what you mean! If they're gonna complain about it not being as good as the original, they should at least know what the original is!

  • If You Disliked, Your Racist

  • Beautiful

  • Not bad for a bunch of guys from the great Valley`s of Wales.Still brings tears to my eyes.

  • what about the scots and irish then

  • this is one of the songs that will NEVER bore. Absolute class

  • I love the way some Welsh folk are still angry at the English because over 700 years ago an English king decided to conquer Wales.

No-one is forcing Wales to stay part of the UK, I'm sure the English public couldn't care less if you stay or go, as long as you don't try to lay claim to any of their taxes (like the Scottish).

England has been conquered by many European countries over the centuries, but you don't see the English winging when they are referred to as Europeans.

  • @polvani69 lol, dumbass.

  • @Ozzywichi thank you

  • @polvani69 You're very much welcome, especially the bit where you confirm my earlier suspicion. :)

  • i heard this song on the radio today and now i just cant stop listening. what a tune!!

  • Trust, encouragement, reward, loyalty... satisfaction. That's what I'm... you know. Trust people and they'll be true to you. Treat them greatly, and they will show themselves to be great.

  • @flyforce16 best comment here by far

  • I <3 this sterophonic's such a awesome band!

  • why in the description does it say "Great cover from Steriophonics"? they wrote it not cover it

  • @WhitakerSJA wow that was not what i meant....i meant to say "they made this song" as in made it as popular as it is today!

  • @WhitakerSJA this song was written in 1967 by Mike d'Abo.the lead singer from manfred mann but he never released it. Rod Stewart released it in 1969 and a few artists have released it also.Stereophonics is my favourite cover.

  • @WhitakerSJA sorry but the song was written by Mike D'Abo in 1967 and first recorded by Chris Farlow in the same year, Rod Stewart covered it in 1969 and had Mike D'Abo slightly rewrite it and produce it.

    Hence Stereophonics cover is accurate.

  • like if ya txtd 670 coz ya wnted jnifa lpez insted

  • i came here because of x factor

  • The Stereophonics, The Beatles, Coldplay, Oasis and many more great bands from the UK, We fucking own music !!!

  • @TotallyFritzl

Hmm remembered this song from many years ago .. think you will find it is Mike D'abo, smile :)

  • @killineybaystarlight Did I say they wrote the song ? I'm just appreciating how good the band is.

  • @TotallyFritzl are you trying put those other shits on the same level as the beatles to justify that the uk has better music? i just can't fuckin believe you mentioned them together

  • I think they do a real nice job...Of course the song is classic material...

  • TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNE!!!!!!

  • the robot dance.

  • Best cover of this song, Rod ain't got nothing on Kelly :)

  • @gumball666 ohhh, but he has.

  • For you !!

As requested, this is the one !!

  • @2910 harry. I bothered because I wanted to let you all know how much better the Rod Stewart original was/is....and I felt I should be compelled to state for the record that the Stereophonics version is just a lazy carbon copy cover version with none of the pathos and emotion of the original. It's my opinion, it doesn't make me a moron, now GET OVER IT. ;-) You Stereophonics fans are SOOOOO touchy it's untrue! LOL.

  • @busterabcat

dude, like you said, its your opinion, you dont HAVE to voice it. a majority of the people watching this video ARE going to be Stereophonic fans, so why troll dude? you cant force your opinion upon someone by saying you disagree with them on youtube fcs.

to be honest i am confused as to why your "witty" remark about the band's emotion over the song. sure they dont SEEM to put much emotion into it, but he has a more relaxed voice.

stop trolling dude, for youtube's sake...

  • @gereatriczing Preach BROTHER Preach!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @busterabcat i agree with you 100%, some people just dont get it, well said mate.

  • r.i.p the best mate in the world, love you pete x x x x

  • @busterabcat What did you bother listening to it then, Moron....

  • the blues, good song

  • saw them live in killarney, i have never been so impressed with a live performance in my entire life.

  • Love this song.

  • a very nice song,it picks me up when im feeling blue.

  • @MrPacey22 No shit. We might as well all go back to using fucking CompuServe.

  • Rod should be proud of them.

  • @rockanroller1 Not just Rod Stewart...he recorded it in 1969...Chris Farlowe was the first to release it in 1967, but by far the best version was the jazz/rock fusion version by Chase in 1971 which was sung by Ted Piercefield.

But I do agree, this is a very nice cover.

  • @rockanroller1 Not just Rod Stewart...he recorded it in 1969...Mike D'Abo of Manfred Mann wrote it, but Chris Farlowe was the first to release it in 1967. By far the best version was the jazz/rock fusion version by Chase in 1971 which was sung by Ted Piercefield.

But I do agree, this is a very nice cover.

  • I love this. It was one of the influences for 'Gladly'

    youtube.com/user/tomhwoods

  • @bobbygray100 Its a Rod Stewart song....but these boys do it better!

  • uk brings out great bands every year this is just one of many epiccc bands

  • @PsychoNorth

that's why they exist since 1992?

    they are great

  • @ascensiune yes they are great, just saying though, someone said they are the greatest uk band by far.. wey too many tremendous bands from uk to choose from IMO

  • @PsychoNorth dont you mean wales brings a great band out !!

  • @PsychoNorth i think you mean wales, ain't a UK band these lads, but yeah there good

  • @hawkie1 wales is in the UK, just in case you didn't know, so YES, these are a UK band.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 some welsh folk might have an opinion on that one, its just a historic thing at this stage and the welsh have a different culture than the english. But besides that, still a good band whatever way you look at that..ain't politics fun ha

  • @PsychoNorth this band is underrated in usa, i got this cd only when i visited £1 cd shop in uk, they are mmuch better than overhyped coldplay

  • Australians do what better? certainly not make music like this

  • best band to come out of the uk. by far.

  • @TheJunglist05 dont think so

  • @TheJunglist05 That is the most ridiculous statement anyone has ever made. Worse than the time Neville Chamberlain said 'We have won peace in our time'.

  • my friend is part of one of the singers and i've meet him before

  • People makes songs so that Stereophonics might one day cover them.

  • Great Track!!! Such a brilliatn record originaly by Chris Farlowe.

Search the Blue Plant Pots for the next clue Laura... :)

  • que importa que sean underreated??????????????????? they are amazing

  • @davicholo79 I bet you wish you had £1 or $1 every time this was viewed!

  • Ewe all deserve the sheep jokes.

  • Best cover for the song from Manfred Mann! Kelly Fuckin' Jones!

  • So UNDERATED!!

  • everytime i listen to good music like Stereophonics made my life happy. I rather listen to them than those trashy singers we have right now. There are talented singers out there but the record lables would rather go for looks. RIP Drummer guy!

  • @19GirlBad you mean RIP stuart cable :)

  • hi im from wales and guess what i dont like lamb! ;)

  • Matt Tong has nothing against Stuart Cable.

  • they dont make music like this anymore

  • @kh9234 Who are they? There's nothing particularly special about this music. The musicians haven't stretched the boundaries of skill. They're performing a near-clone cover, walking a well-worn path.

  • @TruthAxe

Why are you watching it then?

  • You amuse @kh9234. The question to ask is "Why have you watched it?" because it's not on going action.

And I ask you, "Why does YouTube exist?"

  • @TruthAxe why, just why? I bet you're the sort of person who says "cool story bro" or ZOMG. Really, just come on!

  • You amuse, @JanusThe1st. Again!

How saying the word "really" as you have any different than ZOMG or "cool story bro"? Who says bro anyway?

  • @TruthAxe

I bet your the type of person that listents to the dire records in the charts today.(i would say musci but it does not really qualify as it.)

  • What an odd one you are @kh9234. You sit around watching YT vids while hallucinating and fantasizing about the lives of those who comment on YT.

  • @TruthAxe

I complete forgot about your stupid comment until i looked at my inbox what i only do when i am bored what a sad life you lead predicting how i am.Pot kettle .x

  • The ever amusing @kh9234. That you're bored shows what a sad life you're living. Those of us who are never bored live far better lives.

  • Its sad we dont have music like this in the charts anymore

  • I think this is a great version of this song but my favourite is still the original sang (years ago) by the LEGENDARY Jimmy Witherspoon. Jimmy's version is so moving, it brings tears to your eyes just listening to it.

  • Lol 3:31 NSYNC gone

  • Wow, how unoriginal. Couldn't this guy sing in his own voice instead of trying to sound like Rod? What's the point of the cover?

  • @TruthAxe That is his own voice. And after seeing them live Rod cant lace his boots.

  • @robvikki The guy grew up mimicking Rod Stewart? How bizarre.

  • @TruthAxe That's just how he sings if you listen to his other songs.

  • Thanks for telling me, @BBQPeanut. The world does not need another Rod Stewart clone. It's debatable that the world needed Rod Stewart.

Pop music gets a bit worse every year. Ironically, more young persons have more exposure to formal musical training than ever before. Yet, it's an auto-tune world.

  • A classic, and the best version.

  • we fuck them you eat them! rather wear a turban than a rose e.t.c, now STFU and engoy the song plz :)

  • My dad's favourite song of all time, when i hear this it makes me cry. It might be 6 years but i still love him, RIP Dad.

  • @stromboli2007 I may not know you, but sorry for your loss, everytime I hear certain songs it makes me think of my dad (who died in 2000) too, I'm sure your dad was a great man if this one song can make you cry

  • Favourite Song of all time!

  • Kelly Jones, Tom Jones, Terry Griffith fuck it just gimme some of that Welsh hunnie Katherine Jenkins!!

(Charlotte Church n Catherine Zeta Jones can come too....lol)

  • sheep ? .....dont trust 'em, two timing fuckers !

  • love kelly

  • @tehluvablebritishkid ..And when the welsh put their cock up a sheeps arse I would imagine it's voice gets higher dipshit. Thanks for clearing that joke up for me Einstien.

  • @tehluvablebritishkid ..And when the welsh put their cock up a sheeps arse I would imagine it's voice gets higher dipshit.

  • I wonder how many people came to this page after watching "The Office"?

Please don't give this comment a thumbs-up, just send me a message saying "I did", if you did. I'd be interest to know how that series has affecting viewing figures here. Almost at 1,000,000 - Impressive!

When this message is over 2 weeks old, please do not respond to it. Thank you.

  • @EddieTheFishReturns fuck you eddie

  • @cron321: fuck you too, cron.
