I originally thought the idea of Enterprise was crap and tbh the first time i saw it i didnt change my opinion. Lets hope JJ gets the film doen at the right level, he hasnt done badly in previous works.
Rick Berman killed the franchise. Voyager and Enterprise were just plain disgraces to the previous incarnations. No imagination. Just space talk and borg.
Rick Berman rescued the show from Gene Rodenberry's clasp!! He took over towards the beginning of Season 5 of TNG and gave the show direction, and brought on some great writers like Ronald D. Moore who went on to do Battlestar Gallactica. All Gene Rodenberry wanted to do was time travel back to present day America, and have dodgy semi-naked women fawning over 90 year olds!
Enterprise was a better show than Voyager, because it took more chances. Enterprise's failures came from a simple fact -- only bad thing about Star Trek is there's too much of it. Some people have cried out: "Save Star Trek!!" But we don't have to -- we already did that 20+ years ago: it succeeded beyond our wildest dreams. FIVE TV series and 11 movies -- what about that needs saving!? I hope the new film does well, but I'd have preferred something other than a prequel.
Well, they were trying for something other than a cliched, orchestral piece, even if that was expected. The song never grew on me but it didn't bother me either. I'm not sure what I would have put in its place, but I loved the 'Space History' montage in the opening credits.
The problem with Enterprise was everything. They aimed the show at non-fans of the show to get more interested. But they should of just stayed loyal. Missing out the "Star Trek:" for the title and coming up with a crappy tune
Enterprise should never of happened. If they had planned it better and did some decent storys for it then it might of been ok and changed the name of the ship. How can you go from that enterprise to kirks enterprise it just dosent fit in properly. I for one hope they dont mention enterprise at all!

It isn't, a day or two after this came out it showed John Cho in with a sword in a spacesuit standing on that dish. It showed a much better photo and it's most defintely not the NX01
I hope they mention Enterprise too but I also hope you realise that we're an extreme minority and will never in a million years get our wish. Most people would probably rather they specifically go out of their way to declare Enterprise non canon.

Well, they were trying for something other than a cliched, orchestral piece, even if that was expected. The song never grew on me but it didn't bother me either. I'm not sure what I would have put in its place, but I loved the 'Space History' montage in the opening credits.

The problem with Enterprise was everything. They aimed the show at non-fans of the show to get more interested. But they should of just stayed loyal. Missing out the "Star Trek:" for the title and coming up with a crappy tune

Enterprise should never of happened. If they had planned it better and did some decent storys for it then it might of been ok and changed the name of the ship. How can you go from that enterprise to kirks enterprise it just dosent fit in properly. I for one hope they dont mention enterprise at all!

i wish enterprise never got cancelled, i wish this movie was about that show, the first 2 seasons sucked you could say but then it got better, but they will not say anything about nx- 01 i bet

DS9 and Voyager are both finished series and past any sort of time to do a movie for. ENT was just not good enough.

It isn't, a day or two after this came out it showed John Cho in with a sword in a spacesuit standing on that dish. It showed a much better photo and it's most defintely not the NX01

I hope they mention Enterprise too but I also hope you realise that we're an extreme minority and will never in a million years get our wish. Most people would probably rather they specifically go out of their way to declare Enterprise non canon.

They say the new Enterprise will look like the Enterprise of the 1979 "Star Trek: The Motion Picture". That saucer looks more like the TOS enterprise.
