  • Bluecats is the one of the first band that made me love Rockabilly (about decade ago!) . I just came from their gig and i have to say.. Perfect! Rock on guys!!!

  • This band is brillant!

  • are these guys also known as the wild stompin bluecats

    ?? ]:

  • @GumBeatingTV No have always been just THE BLUE CATS. Check the web site for a history of the band. Cheers

  • Steve Whitehouse from Frenzy has been practicing with these guys in the last few weeks, can`t wait to see or hear that.

  • @guanabatz90 Man! got to see that, are there any UK dates planned?

  • This is the most original and ground breaking Neo Rockabilly band ever! To use the word Ted when describing anything they have done is crazy, so you must be a fucking Moron. Saw them at Hemsby and they were better than they've ever been, a breath of fresh air. I hope they play live again soon because we desperately need a band like this on the scene.

  • Fat Teddddddd.............

  • see them live at oscars in ilford about 1981 best rockabilly band around what a night

  • This takes me back... I remember going out to the local record shop in my school lunch hour to buy this. I still have it! And the LP too.

  • This song rocks my socks!!!

  • The rockinest best ever!! What a track man!!!

    Neil - Big Black Cadillac.....

  • They are still Heros in Germany !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Classic, one of my fave rockabilly songs ever! And dare I say, the Cats look really handsome in this clip!

  • I would say that it was the Bue Cats that most influenced the Sharks at the start.

  • Great song and a great group(even after Dave Phillips)but in reality The M3t3ors blew them all away!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mitch Caws pissed all over Dave Phillips and Nigel Lewis.

  • Course he did mate, thats why no ones heard of him.

  • because you are not aware of his playing, please don't appear so ignorant as to think others are as ill informed as yourself.

  • HaHa,dont let your obvious BIAS and dislike of Dave Phillips cloud your judjement!!!-just cuz you fell out with him dosent make him a bad bass player!!! And as for Nigel Lewis, well hes the KING,no one can touch him, brilliant on ANY bass or guitar, fantastic songs and vocals for almost 30 years in four superb bands!-just cuz he dont roll about like one of Bill Haleys Comets!!! And as i said first the original line-up of The M3t3ors blew EVERYONE away with their playing, style and originality.

  • I see, you're a bit mental.

WHO fell out with Dave Phillips? I've never even met him!

Oh by the way, listen to the bass solo on Bill Haley's "Goofin' Around" and THEN tell me that Nigel Lewis is better.

Shame you're so deluded mate, there are so many better players that you could and should be aspiring to

  • Hahahaha..motorvating!!! That was funny, the person in question that nearly got his face filled in wasn't the lead singer, it was the drummer....ME!!! Hahaha. It's hard to believe but it's true. Check out "Billy Gibbons Hot Rod" on here and you'll see why it's hard to believe! Still got me hair dye though....

  • @mitchly

Actually got around to checking your hotrod out (don't like to rush) and its the dogs nutts. Yep that was you that came to Hinckley all right, which must of been around 1979 - 1980 ish.

Any chance of borrowing your chicken? I promise not to eat it.

  • @motorvating Helloooagain. Yep, sure was me. Thanks for the nice comment regarding my Hot Rod. Can you believe...I just sold it (again) yesterday. Oh well, I got a nice PA Cresta to relace it so it's not all doom and gloom. Thanks again, BillyG

  • @mitchly You can borrow my Chicken with pleasure but..if your not going to eat it...what ARE you going to do with it? Mind you, I dont mind as long as you dont eat it coz it's a special Chicken. Type in "Billy Gibbons Audlem" to see why.

  • I just found my entry ticket to see these guys from 17,july,1981 at the goodfellowship inn, Hull, i got all the band to sign the back of it, they where the best band i ever saw at that place!!!!

  • sold my drums a couple of years ago. miss it alot. let me know when you get that time machine lol.

  • Hi Dave. You were one of the first drummers that inspired me. I am now a front man but, Hell, you guy's were the best! Yeah, I'll keep rockin but it will never be the same as it was back then. Anyone got a time machine they dont want? Billy Gibbons.

  • WOO-HOO, great stuff

  • Hey Little Tony, no way will you remember me but I was the drummer with a band called the Rythmn Hawks. Just wanted to say Hi and "Foodabilly" remember that? You had that written on your case when we played at the Royalty, Southgate all those years ago. Rock on Clint. BillyG

  • I remember your band, I stil, have the Zodiac single lol. Remember your lead singer came to a gig at Hinckley with his black died quiff and nearly got his faced filled in cause all the birds fancied him lol good rockin times.

  • Yes, thee greatest neo rockabilly song ever!

  • Best neo rockabilly band ever! Enjoy to see them come back again after all these years.

They turned the original 50-ties sound into something new, something exciting. Not too authentic, not too trashy, just right. Great vocals. Love it!
