So this game is called Gradius 3. I always wondered what this game was as a kid. I like my older brother beat it a long time ago, but I dont remember. I remember my brothers saying the last boss was pathetic. Just so dead guy moaning.
yes he cheated. it even says tool assisted. try to beat it without cheating. it's hard. it took me forever but i beat it one time on easy. i couldn't imagine anyone beating it on normal for god's sake. the end boss was indeed a disappointment. some of the other bosses were way harder
I've made it to loop 3 on hard difficulty. It's not that hard, at least for me. I could probably have kept going, but it takes a long time to get to loop 3 and I had to stop playing. Normal and Easy difficulty don't even phase me. I get bored on Easy real fast, and Normal isn't much better. I prefer to be constantly shot at to keep me occupied.
well, i actually beat it in ARCADE difficulty. after you finish the game in HARD, it starts again but even harder man, it's like suicide!!!! but i did it ^__^

When you slow the gameplay speed down & use a bunch of speed ups so you're moving at full speed while everything else is only crawling at 25% speed... it's cheating.
Tool assistance is not cheating. I dare you to walk up to an autocross racer who uses TC and ABS and tell him he's a cheater. That's basically what you're saying. Cheating is anything that changes game memory and allows for extraordinary advantages, such as input codes or game enhancers like a GameShark.
u dont need to shoot the final boss at all, it just dies on a timer, its really gay. but im wondering do you always just f-option plus twin laser? imo regular option w/ e-laser is the best for clearing the game, maybe not for high score, but i dont play the game for score. thast what Dodonpachi is for :p

Doesn't the final boss in the arcade version of Gradius III warp you to the first stage of Gradius or Salamander if he hits you with his marshmallows?
I know a lot of people have said this before me, but the soundtrack from Gradius 3 is just amazing. Some of the coolest music ever comes from games like this. :)
it's tool assisted, the collision detection is very precise (basically saying you have to the ship, not the ship and a certain area around it) the speedrunner took that to the limit in this speedrun.
I do not care if you did tricks I love watching these videos, to live is to remember and thank you for putting the videos of this game.
