Thanks for sharing this with us.I know the singer in the first dance. Wow, I've been to a restaurant like this in Thailand, didn't know there's one in France. They should have one like this in America. Mien people should be a little more proactive in promoting our culture and traditions, not just criticizing one another all the time.
Wow, how is that creepy? Sharing Mien culture with the world is not creepy at all...learn how to appreciate that because that's a ridiculous comment that you've made.
By the way, I'm Mien and I find your comment to be very problematic for our community. You should promote out culture as much as you can no matter what the audience is.
I think KungPao was just a lil' bit struck that the Mien culture would be so visible + readily accepted by the predominately white audience. Considering the fact that typical Mien performances are performed for our community for special occasions and that this is the first clip I've watched where there was a predominately Western audience, I too found it to be different-- meaning I am not used to it--although, I found it interesting and exciting to see a sharing of cultural experience!
And it also might be KungPao's lack of a more articulate vocabulary that he should convey what he met with, "creepy" when he probably really met to convey that he was "not used to it." I'm certain that KungPao did not mean to convey intolerance, but rather I think he met to convey a sense of "shock" to what he was not typically used to. Yes, intolerance is poison. :)

Tom don't even worry about the comment posted above. He's just ignorance and is not open to the amazing idea that sharing culture is GREAT!

And please don't take my comment wrongly or out of context. I am, genuinely, glad to see that the Mien are sharing our culture with others.
