  • Cool song. Also, the girl at 36 seconds is cute :)

  • I thought this was a great little video, I like it so much I've got it on my phone and think about it everytime I see the guy on the trike as he does get around a bit. I really don't understand the gollywog thing I was'nt insulted with the white rabbit!!! but then I don't have a chip on my shoulder LOL

  • Is that Mark Wahlberg in the vid?

  • 1 black gollywog doll, you guys are some very racists folks. Shame on you, it's 2009, no time for racist pricks.

  • @SirMaskMusic what the heck you racist its just a video dont just go of and say that on some one that is deads video cock head

  • @alexskatesdou It's just a video? Sure when it comes to the rights and disrespect of blacks it's just a video, but if the video showed a few seconds of abuse of an animals folks would be pissed, if it insulted women you'd be pissed, but you bigot, have no respect for Blacks so "it's just a video". You're a bigot.

  • We can't expect a racist to admit they're a racist. The doll is insulting. How the hell can you give a DOWN THUMB when a BLACK person is telling you that you're being insulting and racist? Because racists always think nothing of insulting those that they think are lower than they are. After all, you are GOD right. And using a Black creation, rap, to spread ignorance. WTF

  • love it!

  • what kind of money is that?

  • thats New Zealand money $5

  • This is awesome. Very well done.

  • los videos son muy buenos grasias

  • :D :D You guys are great!!

  • Nice vid. I know of an unkown cat that goes pretty hard. Search "Vthov Obama Inauguratiion Song" and you'll see what I mean. Fiyah, pure fiyah. I can't believe people are sleeping on this guy.

  • This is a Great Video. You all should check out Vthov's music. Finally someone speakin some real shit. Search "Vthov Obama Inauguration Song" He makes great music.

  • this is funny, i watch it 10 times now.

  • OH that&TBPSQUOs cool. haha I hope you can make more videos. I like your videos a lot. haha Thanks again for making them. This is too dope

  • yea!

  • NZ accent FTW.

  • LOL! nice

  • ya brits are darn crazyy

  • ha ha - brits... not british.

  • we should now call the $5 bill an 'Ed' - as in "oh sorry, I have no change, just an Ed"

  • nice thinking bro i never thought bout that it would be sweet if we called the bill ed youre pretty clever bro

  • You Brits are crazy!

  • Proud to be Kiwi, You showed you'r respect for sir Ed & his achievements in a fresh & talented way with a good message in the lyrics. Cheers mate.

  • ???

  • go new zealand

  • yes, TENZING. oops, i spelt his name wrong. silly me!

as far as i know there is only one Tenzing who climbed with Ed... this is the same one that is mentioned in the song...

  • Tenzing Norgay...???

  • where is tenzing in this song? I think its unfair to not include him.

  • see lyrics:

"in '53 he climbed the worlds highest peak

others who tried came to early fates

so Ed and TENSING, left behind their burly mates

they almost made it to the pearly gates

and told the gate keeper -- see you at a further date"

  • Hillary would be nowhere without Tenzing Norgay.

  • And who are you? I suppose you're just as much of an inspiration as Hilliary was yeah. With comments like that I would imagine not. True he may not have been able to reach the summit without Tenzing, but he would not have been nothing thats for sure. People like Ed Hillary are few and far between and even if he had not climbed everest I am sure that we would all still know his name. RIP Ed your legacy will live Forever

  • I surely did not mean to disrepute Ed Hillary into the bowels of the forsaken symbols of the past. I only meant to highlight the partnership that he had with his Sherpa friend that is oft overlooked! Furthermore, in a way we remember Hillary primarily for his magical ascent and quite honestly not much else. So 'nothing' in the sense of the word is a bit harsh, but it's not out of the realm of cultural dissonance mate.

  • NZtrillion with diff cloths comin again n again..LOL

  • now translate it to american...lincoln, mo fucka!

  • you bloody beauty, great song by trillion, hey zealman is still buzzing in my ears from 95!by the wtf al the nonsense about the feelers.trillion is a gifted songwriter, singer, producer in his own right do your research again and properly

  • This is cool

  • AWESOME!!!

reminded me of flight of the choncords

    which is a good thing

  • Nice tribute. Good lyrics. It's not the mountains we conquer, but ourselves. That about sums up Sir Ed.

  • Some how the vocals remind me of Flight of the Conchords

  • According to the Christchurch Press this was a clever counterfiet $5 note laundering sceme... After thorough research I (And NCIS)have concluded that I have just made this up because my photos were not used in the video :P

    After all them Souvlakis!

    Go Jodie!

  • This guy who wrote this song is really starting to get good cos he was quite average for a long time. But I'll eat my hat. he has got better. I think he's a dude from the feelers band. anyone confirm that? pretty sure he got kicked out of the feelers like 6 months ago. he seems to have improved

  • He's from Dark Tower

  • Dark Tower? I thought the guy who wrote it is the middle aged chubby guy with over grown facial hair, thats in the video clip. He's the feelers guy, my friend dated him for a few weeks. I think you need to do a little more research. sorry

  • Nah, the Dark Tower story is way more convinicing. He's the ginga with a beard. Cool wee tune :-)

  • Totally man, that guy is from the feelers. I know so. And wasn't dark tower a R&B/slow jam band from auckland I think that they got famous for covering OMC songs. like the how bizarre one. By the way I have a extensive compact disc collection, so I'm pretty clued up on all this sorta stuff man.

  • awesome video! RIP sir ed

  • lol awesome stuff! i heard a piece of it on the edge and had to check out the rest!

  • hmm

  • Featured in the NZ Herald I see. Well deserved. Great stuff!

    RIP Ed.

  • cool song but the same guy (writer) is on the vid too many times

  • haha, that is cos we didnt get enough photo's of random people. do you know how hard it is to convince people to take their photo? :)

once we have 200 new photos of you and your friends, we'll remove all the ones of that guy, and put yours in... get snapping!

  • rock on

  • wicked keep it up

  • Ha i know the guy at 1:18 i worked with him

  • that is the coolest song!!!!! my new favorite in fact :)... i herd bout it on the news and just had to hear it...awsome!!! :)

  • awesome. reat in peace Sir Ed.

  • gold, And if the power of the novelty song still holds you'll be at the Gtammies next year and we'll have to disown you ;-)

  • Nice work! Much better way of remembering the big guy than naming a mountain after him.

  • sadly i'm out of the country, and i don't have a fiver to take a pic!

  • Brilliant guys, Love it.

And how many ties does that dude have?

  • More than 10

  • who the hell do you think you are this is a tribute for the sad passing away of a New Zealand hero, Sir Edmund Hillary and has nothing to do with Americans political gains. you're message does not belong here have some respect and commonsense! Bad choice of video to spam.

    R.I.P Sir Ed

  • hi, can you specify who your message is directed at? the lyrics don't talk about america or its political tyranny.

  • do explain?

  • Perhaps you just need to watch it again, then you may not need to be spoon fed for the rest of your life. It's pretty straight forward what the story is about. $5 dollar notes bro!!!

  • yeah, whatever - have fun amusing yourself..

  • You have a attitude problem were all friends here. You obviously have a problem with community which is also a underlying theme of the video. I have trained at hagley in film. And passed!

  • i like it :P

  • sweet.

  • Nice. I thought it was going to be a bit of a piss-take, but the history and the respect were there in spades. A fitting tribute, to both Sir Ed and 1970s ties. :-)
