  • He's twilight Dracula

  • Since when did Dracula become immune to the scorching hot desert sunlight?

  • For a moment, I thought you were fighting the pyramid boss from Zoda's Revenge.

  • I subscribed because you make me laugh

  • What do you do with coins?

  • Aren't antlions only about half an inch long?

  • No, this game can't be fair. It's a Pre-MetroidVania CastleVania game. Since when have they been fair?

  • How did your lives go from 7 to 12?

  • Cool ! Kid Dracula can walk in the sun light...

  • When Skeletons Attack!

  • Looks like you had a bit of trouble there with that pyramid!

  • Is it just me or does DC seem a little less enthusiastic than usual? Hang in there man, don't let Kid Dracula grind you down!!!

  • So using only the first weapon is like an extra challenge?

  • This platformer reminds me of "Rick Dangerous", another unforgiving tongue-in-cheek game.

  • It did give you an extra life. One to be exact. And it said if you hit it you lose, so since you didn't hit it, you won 1 life. Guess other games are better than that boring one.

  • We can't even enjoy a stroll through ancient Egypt without instant death spikes, instant death boulders and boss fights without floors.

  • Gordon Freeman would like me to inform you that Antlions kill people all the time, DC. Where have you been for the last few years?

  • Playing better games.

  • @DeceasedCrab Zing!

  • I wish Gravity Hold worked like that. I knew that One Shot was going to be a waste of time. Give me Turn Pop any day. Why does the Pharoah burp bubbles at you, did he eat a bar of soap before you showed up.

  • "Rootin' tootin' Tutankhamen." XD

  • what's cactus doing here? this isn't mondo medicals, it doesn't have as many spelling errors

  • You should go as far to create a blooper video at the end of this Let's Play.

  • you won ONE live you used to have twelve and now you have thirteen

  • Why yes, that is in fact basic arithmetic! Congratulations!

  • Gotta hate instant death spikes.

  • They are the second worse spikes, next to the "Rapeyoutillyoucry" spikes. I will never forget that day...

  • This be Megaman all over again with those spikes.

  • this game was actually released in america on the gameboy. oh, and for your next lp, play choujin sentai jetman.

  • Speaking of Challenger... are you gonna LP that sometime? I'd love to see that... at the highest difficulty level. I CHALLENGE YOU!

  • Have we learned nothing from the Kacho's sacrifice? No way.

  • Those counterattacking skeletons reminded me of the ones from Link to the Past, only...goofier.

  • This one must have been a hassle to make having to go all the way back to that one point. I'd go insane.

  • Yeah, another death montage!

  • I love this game!

  • Look what you did game, you made DC break out the turbo.

  • Ah, I think you got one extra life for the "red" sword. I'm not sure why, though...

  • BLAAAAAH, PHAROAH!

Also, boo for bad checkpoints. ¬_¬

  • I have a question, how do you install instant death spikes? I mean if while you are installing them and you graze them you would die, they must be a bitch to install.

  • I think they only instant-kill protagonists. Also, they go for about 400 grand each, so I'd go with something less expensive, but deadly.

  • This game needs a geisha during whose dance you can fart.

  • This game is rather evil.

  • Pfft, this is an NES game, NES games were cruel death traps, expecting anything else is silly.

  • Cruel death traps or no, NES games gave you a sense of satisfaction upon beating them, unlike... alot of console games today. Too many games have been made to be easy, without really even pushing the created game layout to it's limits.

I miss the tingly feeling you used to get after beating a game. Now it just feels embarrasing, how easy games have become.

  • Wow, that was a really crappy bonus game. I'll bet we're stuck with Can can and One shot now.

  • it's not like you need the lives, they went UP even though you kept on dying so you must have got 1-ups from somewhere in that level

  • That Boss was just Evil!I mean come on,one shot and you fall? that´s unfair...

  • I see the foreshadowing with the mini game..

  • Yorick! (Is a skull-kicking skeleton from Castlevania)

  • Hmm - this game was released before Zelda: A Link to the Past but this level has Sand Palace written all over it! Plant creatures that pop up from underground? Bugs that draw you into sand vortexes? Sandworms? Vultures?

    The resemblance is astonishing. =)

  • As it is with every other game that features a sand area.

  • That is an excellent point. I never finished the Sand Palace because I lost my game, but I saw enough.

  • at 2.22, that was just plain unfair!

  • It gave you one extra life. (You had 12 after the boss, now you have 13.)

  • Yeah, I think that one red sword did the trick.

  • You forgot the Silver Monkey, DC. Do over!

  • DC, the games you pick are so funny/cute/weird/AWESOME! I love waking up to a new DC LP. :) You're awesome!!!

  • Here too.

    *Waits for tommorow*

  • You got 1-Up.

  • Holy cow that level was just mean.

  • It gave you one extra life, so presumably the red daggers were good, and the white bad? So I guess you can get up to four extra lives if you don't hit the skeleton at all. Pure luck? Probably!

  • The Red Knife is a signal that this knife will never hit the skeleton.

  • I think it gave one extra life, even though it didn't feel the need to actually tell you
