I think iphone is better for watching videos, and playing games. I dunno about music though since pre also does itunes...And the texting depends entirely on the user but i can see how iphones may be much easier. I just hate the pysical dimentions of the iphone. Its like a fucking brick lol. Also has higher chances of breaking and costs more monthly. I also dont like the simpliocity off all the apps for iphones background. Doesnt feel like a cell to me at all. Pre looks better in my opinion.

As for internet browsing, the Pre is the only phone that can browse as smooth as the iphone can, but the iphones screen is bigger and it loads the page faster when scrolling down or up or zooming in or out. IMO, the Pre is the second or third best touch phone out there. HTC Hero could be second or third as well. The iPhone is still so far the best phone out, but when the Android-based phones come out for HTC and Motorola in Q4 2009-Q1 2010, the iPhone will be defeated.

iPhone does have a form of multitasking that you can listen to music while browsing the internet or playing a game, but thats it. Although it works faster than the Pre it isnt enough to compete with the Pres "cards". For messaging, I guess it matters. IMO the iPhones keyboard is very nice and easy to use, while the Pres keyboard is to small for me. The email on the iPhone is around the same with the Pre.

That isnt true in any way. True, that teenagers show the iPhone more affection than most phones, but then again most people out there love the iphone. Theres a reason why the last 2 iPhone models sold 1 million on the first weekend. REAL usage = multitasking, messaging, multimedia, internet browsing, and user interface. Ive already prooved that the iPhone is better with multimedia and UI than any other phone. Pre definately beats iPhone with multitasking

The 3MP camera may be pathetic considered to todays cameras, especially with no flash. But because of the autofocus and macro functions, the picture comes out very high quality and at times could even beat a 5MP or 8MP camera. For texting, IMO, the iPhone has the best touch keyboard out of any phone right now. It is easy and simple to use. IMO, the Pre doesnt even win the best physical keyboard award as it will only be good for people with small fingers.

simonique, theres a reason why the Pre has gotten many many returns as well. But you are right about the iphone partially. Multimedia on the iPhone is, no doubt, better than any other phone out there. Some more things you are missing out about the iphone is that the UI is the friendliest I have ever seen on a touch phone and makes the iPhone experience fun rather than a chore such as the N97.

The only problem with the pre is the marketing. This is the best phone on the market today. After using the phone for 24hr i don't miss the iphone. Video and tons of apps is the only thing that puts me more on the iphone side. But i am glad that my company have sprint so i can two great phone.

I own a Pre for the fact that I could not type on a virtual keyboard and tried many times, the keyboard on the Pre isn't that much more compact that the Treo or Blackberry or any other querty phone...what the video didn't show about the Pre is that when you get a text, email, or voicemail, there is a little indicator that shows up at the bottom, and you don't have to close out of the app you are in to check it out. Keep hearing that there are only a few apps...that will change as well.

Its in? You kidding me? In my drivers ed 5 people had the palm pre and switched within 3-5 days of using it. One complained about its small keyboard cuz it was hard to text with it. Another just hated its look. Someone wanted a faster phone. The other two didnt really like its interface that much. When people r willing to switch carriers for the iphone, you can tell that the iphone is good.

Uhhh for music, videos, games.... iPhone 3G S is sooo good for gaming, and seriously, all Palm fanboys will be like "IPHONE SUCKS, WE CAN PLAY GAMES ON IT" when 3D gaming is available on it. I love music, videos, and gaming so I easily fill it up to 10GB. iPhone can load things much faster then the Pre, 3G it really matters where you are.
