Crescent and Full are totally different movelists and such.  Full also can't reverse beat.

Crescent is (for the most part) the same as Act Cadenza. Some characters (the Shikis especially, from what I can recall) have slightly different moves and everyone probably got balanced a bit, but it's the same for the most part.

Haven't actually played AA yet, so I can't say. I know each version they try to balance better.

Although for NA and NAC, they're probably still terrible. They're in the same boat as Dan from Street Fighter - terrible and hilarious.

I was in that phase too, for a while. "NAC and NA are totally balanced. People just can't appreciate the joke characters." I eventually learned otherwise.

That said, I still play them often. Tournament viability be damned, I like shooting eye lasers.

The Yang to Mature's Yin, Vice has the Orochi power of darkness and is Rugal's other secretary. Her stance has changed a lot over the years looking like a zombie sometimes and a hunchback in other games. She's still attractive, though. Too bad she also gets killed by Iori's rage.

I only know of three places that have vids of Actress Again out already. SEGA (Which were looking at ^^), Those who are on nico video (For the endings) and this one person whom names the game as "JOYBOX　Movie　no3668"

He has many fight vids up of the game, though I haven't looked through all of them to find Neco-Arc Chaos yet. Hope this helps ^^

It's just that Neco-Arc Chaos was one of the most hilarious character in MBAC xD Couldn't stop laughing everytime he said "Showtime!" or "Seexyy!" xD

I haven't seen any actual combat videos of NAC yet.

NA has appeared in one combo video and as a boss for Miyako's arcade route - both solo and in a tagteam with Mech-Hisui.

They are both in the opening, though, so he's in there somewhere. I'm guessing people are too SERIOUS BUISNESS at this point to break out the Dan characters.

Romanization of names can hardly be considered to be improving with better English skills. It's simply how they think the name should be spelled in Latin letters.

Cresent is still spelled wrong.

Len/Ren and Yumiduka/Yumizuka are still an eternal mystery though.

I have to disagree. I strongly believe in graphics over gameplay. With that said, I believe Type-Moon should've raised the bar by now. CvS, MvC, and KOF has been using low-res sprites, but they make them better over time and they still look great. MB however, has been using the SAME sprites for 6 YRS. I would think they could at least revamp them by now, they look great, but 6 years is too long. It's not because it isn't GG, that's absurd, I was just making a comparison.

If game companies and people didn't say ''Hey, we could make this look better than before and it'd still play great'' (i.e. ''bitch''), then we wouldn't see the visual beauty of graphics in games over time IMO. Gameplay is on the highest pedestal in gaming, but graphics need to count just as much as controls and such. I respect your opinion LOL. MB is an amazing series, but I think Type-Moon should revamp those sprites by now. But, the stage sprites and animation are near flawless. :)

Your analogies with the minor exception of KoF are horrible. CvS recycled sprites, and the new ones were not graphically superior. MvC recycled sprites and they were actually WORSE than the original.

I'm of the opinion that overhauling the sprites would probably force a change of the game engine as well as stretch their technological freedom thin - which is kind of what they hinted at when people bugged them for a prompt release of the PC version of MBAC.

I think you have my analogies mixed up. I said MvC, KOF, and CvS's sprites were low-res, but they look decent. I was just pointing out none of those companies use the same sprite work for 6 years, they've been revamped at some point. MvCs sprites looked great in MvC2. Those sprites improved, definitely from the original IMO. I see what you mean about the change in sprites. But maybe the game engine needs a revamp too? Maybe it could be tweaked a bit without ruining the MB style gameplay?

I know Type-Moon is more than capable of doing that. They stopped being lazy and gave us new character art(finally), and now they need to sit down and make those damn sprites Hi-res lol. I mean, look at Guilty Gear.
