Nah, I had to mod the the area behind the stock taillights to fit them, they are 87-93 stock LX taillights. I had to open up the a spot for the reverse light...bout a 1.5 inch hole...pretty straight forward. The 83-86 had the orange turn and the pre-83 were some nasty block style IMO

did not have to do a thing to the wires...used a dremel cause it's what I had at the time but a good metal hole saw and a drill would work also.

No camera in the world can actually make the sound of open headers the way they really are. If you have never heard open headers, you have no idea how loud it is.

My bad, I forgot about it being in Mustang Milesones...It was in Modifed Mustangs in June of 06 and the Photographer submitted it to Mustang Milestones around Sept 07 I think.

YES..it is an 82...the front bumper cover was jacked so at the time I installed an 81 front clip. as for the tail lights...they are from a 92...just a small mod to the backing plate and they go right on. the wing is off an 86 with the lip shaved....

Definately an 82. I own one myself. Side windows have the vents, and the front grill is the ugly ass "egg crate." I also have the newer LX style tail lights, because I busted one of my original lights. I'm still kicking my ass over that. He also put a newer wing or maybe even whole hatch. Overall, gorgeous car!
