Very, very nice! You've stumbled across an interesting teaching method here. If this were a classroom lesson it would be a disaster,---of course it goes by too fast. But in video format where you have the ability to stop and replay, it's just genius. This could be a candidate for teaching the most in the least amount of time. It gives the veiwer the option of just viewing it again and again, learning by osmosis so to speak OR taking each idea one by one and stopping the vid to absorb & practice
This is great stuff. I never took much theory as a kid and have been playing all my life. I will use this! I hope you continue with the lessons! What audience are you trying to reach? How about a video on various ways to learn a piece of music? Possibly a video on how to write music using the theory you teach? Just some thoughts. Either way, you have a gift for music and you know it. I'm glad to see you're putting it to use to help others!
awesome playing man, you're amazing, really enjoyed your video. How about some melodic minor stuff or maybe the Lydian scale you mention in this video
This video is actually really useful for beginners on the piano/keyboard, such as myself. I started playing over the summer and I instantly was hooked on playing. I mainly learn songs through tutorials here on youtube, so I really have very little piano knowledge, besides the basic notes. Right now, I'm trying to learn more and this video is perfect to learn from. It's really well organized; quite fast at some parts, but it explains a lot of information. I definitely would like to see more. =)
Thanks a lot...I really appreciate you commenting, was beginning to think that this video was falling on deaf ears.
What part of this video would you like me explain more about? I know I touched on a lot of topics in just 10 minutes, but I'd be happy to expand upon any of them.

I love the spots where you play the entire dominant diminished scale as one voicing in one octave. It's like the cluster voicing of doom!
