@brooksiris and the reason why is that both earth and sun in japanese are male characters. helios/pegasus (sun) and mamoru (earth) are their soldiers. in the manga version it's clear in the anime however it is not explained that way.

The music on the SMS transformations doesn't seem right...like they sped it up or something. The only ones where the music sounds correct are Neptune's and that first season Moon's...

By the way, the music is what the Japanese have also. So this isn't like some special music that the French used it's just the normal Japanese one.

What I meant was that it sounds different. The key that the music is in seems a bit off, as though the music had been sped up while it was playing.

Yeah, well...personally, I'm not too big on the transformation music from the first season for either the English or Japanese versions...I didn't really like the music much until SMS brought that season's version of Usagi/Serena's transformation to the party.

Naturally, it would be WAY after the fact that I find out that the Inners' SMS transformations were also in the Japanese version of SMR about midway through the season or so...oh, well.

wow...sailor saturn's tranformation was obviously neptunrs turned purple.....ive seen her full transformation it has purple sparkles and ribbons that cover her more similar to sailor moons first transformation.

In the French Version, the transformation command translates as:

Crystal of (Planet), Transform me!

While in the German, it's a little different. The verb, aufmachen, means litterally 'to open up', which appears at the end in the imperative 'Macht Auf!', was used to sound like the Japanese 'Make Up'. To fit in with this, the German translates as:

'Mists of (Planet), open up!'
