@rulerwithcounsel I wish he could sing like that now, too! Guess, though, pretty amazing what he can do at age 66. And in 2009 made album One Eye to Morocco. No screams anymore - but I think he's still got a great voice considering abuse and age.

Brilliant song from Ian Gillan's other band and from an equally brilliant album Mr Universe. This song really showcases his voice, from gentle thru to controlled screaming. Wasn't old enough to see his band Gillan in their heyday (79-81) but I have caught him live twice with DP back in '96 and '98. Still THE VOICE OF ROCK. Cheers for posting.
