  • Just goes to show an old dog can learn new tricks, thanks,Mark

  • Loved the video Mark! Great job!

  • But don't put the capo on *too* straight- it needs to be angled a wee bit away from the fret on the treble strings, as you were doing in this video.

  • beautiful guitar and video mark

  • Very interesting and informative video. I have used Barre chords for years but now thinking about getting a capo. I wondered if it is a case of one size fits all or do modern acoustic guitars come in different neck widths?

  • I never knew that capos had different names. Thats pretty cool.

I like the shub..well the name anywayss :)

Keep up with the videos. They're awesome!

  • Thanks for the reviews of the capos! I have a Keyser & a G7th but don't own a Shubb. I have 3 guitars - one 6 string & two 12 strings. The problem for me is getting a good capo for the vintage Framus. It's neck is fairly wide & it's picky about what it wants to wear.

I have the partial capo as well & just bought the spider capo too, so you're right! There is a whole new musical world out there if you use these things.

    Thanks for sharing. ♪

  • Great job... I used to have some Hamiltons myself but the plastic wore down where it was too hard to cap the little strings (buzz) so I use Kysers instead, bulky but quick and easier to find : )

  • How much for the Hamilton? lol

    good video...Happy Easter from Canada

  • Hey goldhat3,greetings from Canada. I always wondered what was happening with the intro to Here Comes the Sun. I like stopping by and visiting every now and again, because, you are a heavy guitarist man. Remember those old capos, with the strap that wraps around the neck, and, clips...like, it had teeth it clips to close. My brother used to have a swing over bar Hamilton when we won

Kiwanis Fest in 77'.You rock!Great tunes too.

  • I have had a few cheap ones which weren't adjustable and would sometimes just deaden the 2 middle strings when higher up the fretboard . Splashed out a couple of weeks ago on a Planet Waves NS Capo , problems solved its a little beauty ! Always enjoy your videos , A Happy Easter to you and your Family Goldhat .

  • Nice lesson. ;) Thanks.
