  • We call it 'Dosakaaya Pachadi' in Andhra Pradesh. Almost every household in

    A.P., make "Dosa Aavakaya" pachadi out of this variety of cucumber. Yummm..

  • Oh this is very different dont you fry the cucumber before grinding it. We generally fry the cucumber and green chilli in oil for some time and then we grind it..

    they are a special variety that originate in south india, you can sometimes find them and indian supermarkets in the US also.

  • it is called lemon cucumber, i saw seeds for it in walmart the other night so they have the seeds for it if you can grow your own

  • Hing is asafeotida, it is a resin collected from a plant in the same family as cumin, dill and parsley. it can be found at Indian grocery stores or online.
