As far as the kids of iconic Athletes being better, I would say that Lailah Ali has come the closest, but only in terms of women's boxing. Although she's not officially retired, unlike her father, she's undefeated and has taken on and beaten the best in her division.

Impossible, i dont remember one super athlethe in any sport whos dad was a mega super star, and his son became even better none. all of Greatest athletes ever, theyre daddy had some good genes but were mostly nobodies. Id rather have a son whos going to be the best, then you be the son of a super star, hell even if jordans son was kobe, you still cant fill in his shoes, too big.

@cetnik03 It must be very challenging for the child of a superstar/legend to find their own identity... I can't imagine the feeling of constantly trying to live up to your parent's astronomical achievements. You have to really have your head screwed on straight and have a lot of self-confidence to not be intimidated by their legacy.
