I've seen him 4 times... outstanding live performer. Each time was better than the one before it. if you haven't seen him live, i insist that you do... even if you aren't a big fan of his, you'll be impressed with how good he really is. this idea by some that he's 'not that good' or 'anybody studio player can play like him' is a myth... watch him live and you'll see the light

I hardly ever hear Mayer on the Radio in the UK and even when they do play his stuff, it's usually No Such Thing which was popularised by American TV shown here. I was in Germany a few days ago and I heard Belief on the radio! I was really surprised! Is he more popular in Germany?
