Amazing guitar player, lyricist & musician! Have to see him LIVE, he's just the best! And his voice is so beautiful and sexy... Live you John, thank God we have you in our lives! :)
The guitar looks like his signature Martin and co om-28 jm. In other videos look out for the triangle inlay at the twelth fret ... About £3k if I'm not mistaken
After the success of our Free Fallin' cover MartonMusic has now tried covering one of our absolute favorite songs which is "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room", scootch on over to our channel to listen to us trying to make our childhood dream come true. All views / comments / ratings / subscribtions would make such a contribution it's unreal, thank you for even reading this!
Love just the guitar and bass. JM and De La had such a unique groove. De La's style is incredible. How I would love to have seen the two play together.
I've seen him 4 times... outstanding live performer. Each time was better than the one before it. if you haven't seen him live, i insist that you do... even if you aren't a big fan of his, you'll be impressed with how good he really is. this idea by some that he's 'not that good' or 'anybody studio player can play like him' is a myth... watch him live and you'll see the light
its funny hes so breathy in his early stuff. hes the shit now, met him twice seen him 6 times hes such a nice guy dont fall for the bull that evryone says hes a douche NOT TRUE brought my gf and her camrea died so he gave us a bucnh of stuff for free and signed it all
This is a wicked rendition of the album version. I wish this was higher quality because the tone of that guitar would sound incredible through actual speakers.
@kallamigelskling its basically like the regular version, but instead of playing the arpeggios of the chords in the intro, u strum them in the pattern he's doing
@DevDhieuTV You waited since you were 7? Seriously? You could uncerstand the depth of John Mayer's music at age 7? You must be some sort of prodigy. Unless you're just trying to make it seem like you've been a fan for a really long time but you only discovred anything about him when you were 14 not 7.
@incubus022 my mother is a mega blues [SRV and Mayer] fan. i started playing guitar at 7 because of her. but no, i'm not fake. yes, acually, i'm a brilliant poet, even if i say so myself. i know how to make words, and read meanings. i was writting at an early age also, so yeah. i'm pretty f* smart. i know you know nothing about me, so you're going to have to take my word for it. if i were fourteen when i discovered John, i sure as hell wouldn't play guitar whatsoever. soo, your opinon.
@incubus022 i don't know WHY i just explained that to you. i should have said; i'm not touched in the head, or have brain damage, so what makes it so impossible for me to understand a man of deep words? not all seven year olds like to run around and get messed up with dirt. like i said, i'm smart. now and back then. and i'm not trying to be rude, i just don't understand why people don't think ANYTHING is possible. soo.. that's it. :)
Just because there is a bass guitar playing as well, that doesn't mean it is not acoustic. It's an acoustic bass guitar. It's clearly not electric guitar.
I hardly ever hear Mayer on the Radio in the UK and even when they do play his stuff, it's usually No Such Thing which was popularised by American TV shown here. I was in Germany a few days ago and I heard Belief on the radio! I was really surprised! Is he more popular in Germany?
the play your body is a wonderland most of the time. i've never heard belief so far :) but i think he's not that more popular in germany than in the UK. i mean most of the people know him because of your body is a wonderland but that's it :)
Oh right. I was just really surprised to hear him on the radio, especially with a less well known song than No Such Thing and Your Body is a Wonderland! Belief is great, as is every song on Live in LA and Every Given Thursday..... also see if you like the acoustic version of Man on the Side!
@snoozeyoulose19 I've seen him live 3 times over the past 5 years and it is always a fantastic show. He has a lot of energy when he's performing and it's always a really good time.
@snoozeyoulose19 I've seen him 8 times live, and hope to see him 800 more! John is awesome live, it's such a great ride................. he's is truly the most amazing performer of our time!
