  • Hello,

Lack attachment to exhaust fitting pot.

Lack flexible sleeve, fitting exhaust (very important, must be sealed;))

Chain wheels, be reversed (with the big slide going up, the small middle bottom)

The large, with thin slices, serve as a spring at maximum compression (tension chain avoids excessive reception jumps)

Flexible hose to put around the pot exhaust springs (left to score cradle)

Otherwise, you are crazy, I love you, keep it up!

    cordially

  • now thats one awesome cr500 AF..from start 2 finish great work....its about time for the weed control to begin hahah..nice vids man

  • @Yamaha38XCRacer Thanks

  • Talk about anal lol. Nice bike though.

  • I hope you dont ride that, that should be in a glass case, nice lookin bike!

  • @PAINTBALLandXBOX Yep I do ride it, dirt mud and snow

  • @groutaone What do you use to wash your bike? A pressure washer, or do you just use a hose.

  • @tattddeb I like to pressure wash before mud has a chance to dry on too much

  • wake your grandmother with that! SHE WILL DIIE

  • if i had a bike like this id send the wife to the garage and bring up the bike to my room

  • OMG ! This Bike is ...over 100% great !

    I Love it.

    Absolutely perfect !

    Wow !

  • Love the bike & love the vids! Inspired me to go out & pick up a 97 CR500. Ive ridden it 3 times in the week I've had it. It's a blast! Not as sweet as an AF but I'll have to save up for a 500AF. Oh by the way.....your sense of humor always keeps me laughing......oh hey I was wondering what do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking :)

  • Well done. You've done an amazing job. Tell me have you had any cracking of the frame or movement from the engine?

When you fabricated the first head stay my initial thought was to move the frame lug so they lined up - but thought better of commenting until I watched all the videos...now I know!!

Again congratulations and I hope the weeds are under control :-)

  • @SidandCoke The frame has been a 100% success, no cracks ever, I feel its the monster head stay holding things together, weeds are relentless though, always teasing me ha ha

  • @groutaone Great to hear.

  • you probly get this question alot but how did u shine your frame like that it looks awesome

  • @motocross19916 Thanks, the trick was fine wet sanding then machine polish

  • @groutaone ok thanks im gonna do that with my bike now

  • did you ever notice at 0:14 your silencer is moving alot at the connection to the chamber...

  • @BoryCohn Yes at the time this video was shot, I had not yet fabricated the mount in that area

  • so dope

  • Hm I just got new clutch pads today and a new clutch cable and it didn't have a problem the clutch was butter smooth

    Thanks for the help!!

  • @stoowy100 So your bike works good now?

  • Ya I did that.it is my clutch I was wondering if I needed a new top end.

Do I need to git a new clutch cable?

Our do I hafto take the clutch apart?

  • I need help with my cr 125.

It starts in a few kicks but

If I put it in first gear it dies.

Intill I have it idol I little bit.i hafto give it some

Gas our it dies.do I need to git the top end rebuilt? Our is there something wrong with the clutch?

  • @stoowy100 If you can push start it and then it works good, then it sounds like it would be your clutch

  • @groutaone yeah i have problem whit my yamaha too the cluts is ''broken'' or something because it let's the bike go and if u don't let it go like meter of less it will stall D:

  • I want to ride that bike so freakin bad!!

  • Is that monster slow enough to do a burnout??

  • @stoowy100 The answer can be found in my CR500 AF drag race video

  • to bad it only sits on that stand

  • Call a Medic!!! It's Having a Seizure!!!

  • hey mate, absolutely great looking bike, just wondering where you got the honda racing side covers from? would love to get some

  • @honda064 Thanks, the Service Honda covers I found on Ebay

  • to much power for the size of the bike, belongs in a street bike! haha

  • fricken SWEEEETT!!!!

  • Absolute beauty of a bike man. Makes me want to get one

  • I see you are running Warp 9 rims. How do you like them?

  • @dirtbikemaniac16 I'am happy with it, only the rear is. Nice thick spokes but It does not run as true as a Honda rim but still good that way

  • I really wanna know how u maintain that polished aluminum, do u tear the bike down and polish everything every week or something cuz it always looks spotless and i cant believe how great it always look, im a big fan of ur vids and id really like u to respond, thanks :)

  • @ThePineconewarrior I originally tore the bike down to do the 500 swap and polished it at that time, have not torn it down since but I do touch up polishing with a product called Mothers, hope that helps, I appreciate you watching

  • @groutaone im glad its easy, thats what ive been using for my bike, a couple days ago i got sick of this crappy winter so i started tearing down my cr125 to just paint the frame, plastics and polish the swingarm and i wasnt expecting to get to much out of the swingarm because its so dull and scratched up but i sanded down one side of it pretty nice and polished it up with that mothers polish and its like looking in a mirror, its slightly duller then yours but i only sanded to 600 grit

  • @ThePineconewarrior The swingarm has a coating on it, probably clear powdercoat, it was a big job sanding it off, I think the next time I want to polish one from scratch I will see if I can get the coating chemicaly removed to save some time.

  • would look extra nice if you had some red anozied levers an gear shifter! ;)

  • HOW DO YOU GET THE FRAME SO SHINY!!!!!

  • @WatchThisWhiteBoyOwn Fine wet sand then machine polish

  • This is basically what I have. Fun ride :P

  • Hey ! i was wondering what do you recommend for a tire brand ? also how many time have you blown this up ? Love the videos too !

  • @megadethdrake For dirt I like Maxxis and I am now a Kenda ice tire fan, never any trouble with the engine at all, very reliable

  • @groutaone Awesome thanks alot im thinking of picking one of these bad girls up !

  • Its so... Sexy! I want to flag it as inapropriate, its gearhead porn. You sir have major bragging rights!

  • My dream!!!

  • i ride a ktm 525sx and its about the baddest bike or anything ive ever ridden..i mean ive ridden some banshees that def had more power but as far as power/weight ratio, not many can hang with my 4-speed 525sx because its just raw torque instantly, no powerband to wait on ,but even still yours is the one bike i know not to fuck with cause it would smoke my ass, even if it is mainly because of gearing the cr500 is still the king of kings and you are a lucky fella

  • @paulpz2004 Thanks, cool bike you have yourself, it would be a fun bike to test ride for sure

  • @groutaone yeah i started out on bikes when real young but got an '01 banshee when i was about 20 and got all into that..put about every bolt on you can get for it other than a cool head and she would scream but i quit riding and eventually sold it..now im back to bikes which is my true passion and comfort area..i sometimes wish my ktm had the gearing of a honda 450-f cause its scary trying to shift while doing a wheelie with so much power at the bottom of each gear..good track bike tho for sure

  • @paulpz2004 You clearly haven't ridden a 500 two stroke. They have all the torque in the world. There is power everywhere, so the 'power band' as such is nothing like it is on smaller two strokes. I have ridden KTM 525's, CRF450's, DRZ400's, YZF450's and I can tell you that my KX500AF beats them hands down in all areas, regardless of gearing. The only issue with the 500 two strokes is rider fitness.

  • @Thebaneo123 yeah ive ridden a kx500 with pipe, jets, filter, and v-force reeds and ill agree with you that any twostroke that size has peppy, responsive, and immediate power rather than waiting on a powerband like a 125 but were talking about TORQUE not throttle response..i raced a cr450r with my ktm about an hour ago on a dirtroad and got my ass handed to me after 4 gear but it still doesnt have the "in the throttle" raw power/torque feeling of mine..stock cr450r=49-50hp ktm525sx=54-56hp..period

  • very very nice job mate

  • @jonboy1973 Thanks

  • power?

  • i think you forgot to tighten pretty much every single bolt on the bike! (:

  • @bakeDfrankie420 Nope, thats just the 500 talking heh heh

  • @groutaone That is beautiful I know I would not want to ride it though :\ Too shinny haha

  • BEAST !!!

  • Holy aluminum polish, Nice work!

  • @raid9dirtbiking Thanks bud

  • @groutaone No problem this is a beautiful bike. :)

  • shit man that bike is sex on wheels

  • The only thing that would make that thing perfect is an E-start! Beautiful bike dude...

  • @plpwheeler Thanks

  • Can i have? Pls

  • DEAR....FUCKING....SANTA

  • What frame model did you use, and did you have to move any mounts?

  • @Glasspopeater38 This is an 03 CR250 frame, I extended the lower frame rail, relocated the front engine mount, moved the Y section up to clear the pipe and made my oun headstay

  • perfect...

  • hey i am going to polish my cr125 how much time did it take you to get that much polish on the whole bike

  • @crazyboyaustin Thats a good question as I didnt keep track and its been about two years ago, 10 hours or so but Idk

  • @groutaone thanks i am going to do triple trees, head, linkage, and swing arm and all the little stuff too but i have the steel frame so cant do that

  • @groutaone and by the way you have my dream bike

  • I've been a two stroker my whole life, sounds to me like his 500 is running perfect!!!

  • I've watched all your vids and that is the best Cr 500 AF ive seen lol! Brilliant welding been done on it so much effort well done!

  • @woodydasotonman Wow that a lot of video watching, thanks I appreciate it and thanks for your comment

  • You know it's TOO nice when you see your camera looking back at you in the swingarm, in the clutch cover , frame, mag cover......... ;)

  • do you have a hydraulic clutch

  • @yz125kauai No its a cable

  • @groutaone oh

  • nice work :)

  • that's not the way to keep a 2T engine running, you'll foul the plugs letting it idle like that, besides they shouldn't idle at all, you have to keep on giving it throttle, other than that, I wouldn't want to get it dirty after all that chrome/polishing work.

  • @MetlHead37 Thanks for watching I appreciate it, the plug that was in the bike for this video is still in the bike almost two years later, I plan on making some more mud and water videos with the bike this spring.

  • @groutaone omg dude i love your bike!!

  • @groutaone it is jetted very good then but just let you know it helps with throtle reponse with a new plug every now and then

  • @MetlHead37 Actually, your supposed to let a 2stroke idle for around 3 minutes after you start it to let it warm up. Giving it gas will cause premature crankshaft bearing failure. And yours only fouls plugs during idle because it's jetted too fat. Just throwing my two sense out there.

  • @MetlHead37 Thats tottally wrong, if its cold you should never give it trhottle, you have to let it idle so the oil pumps can reach. Dont comment about things you don't know.

  • @zenexer1 if that's wot u wanna think, then go right ahead.

go talk to a pro mechanic, instead of thinking YOUR right.

  • @MetlHead37 I am right. Try to rev the shit out of youre bike everytime you start it cold and see how long the engine lasts.

  • @zenexer1 i never mentioned "rev the shit out of it" dooche bag

  • @MetlHead37 Indeed it is not the best way to have it idle on the stand. The vibration can't make its way anywhere, so the whole bike shakes. It is possible to damage the main crankshaft bearings this way. But not for more than it takes to put the choke in, that's also my opinion. But VERY NICE WORK, nevertheless!

  • @Hinnerk16 agreed to a certain extent, but gone too far with the polishing/chrome work, it's a dirt bike, unless he wants to show it.

  • vibrate much?

  • I like the bike but the idol needs to be turned up a tinney bit so it sounds better when walking around the bike, but then when he wants to ride it turn it back down ;)

  • Very.. sexy bike. I want so bad.

  • hey what kind of attachment is there from the end of the expansion chamber to the end of the silencer where they are attached? On my bike I just have like a rubber thing around them holding them onto each other but I don't know if that's what you are supposed to have or not because I bought the bike used.

  • @rideskisallday Yes most bikes should have a mount in that area to the frame, I have one on my bike but I didnt yet when I made this video

  • @groutaone I don't have a mount to my frame :( did you make yours or buy it?

  • @rideskisallday A CR500 has one from factory but I made mine because my bike is a modified frame

  • @groutaone okay thanks

  • I just had a orgasm!!! Sexy bike!!

  • how does she go on fuel?, and what does the af stand for? thanks

  • @dylanbscootz Tank is dry in about 40 minutes if I'am on the gas and AF is for aluminum frame

  • @groutaone your bike is amazing, one of these is next on my list :)

  • my god i miss that sound .... im a fuckin idiot for selling mine .. wtf was i thinking

    DINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDING BWOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP

  • This is the most beautiful work of MotoCross Art I've ever seen... can I borrow it ;)

  • @baddy29743 Thanks bud, and yes you can borrow it, if you lived next door ha ha

  • Silly question. I don't feel like googling for an answer.

Are these AF's stock or are they 250's converted to 500's?

  • @MrDarinWarren All AF's are converted from two stroke or four stroke frames, 250's or 450's

  • Thats a good question, I have never weighed it but it would be about the same as an 03 CR250

  • That bike is beautiful. Could you tell me how much it weighs? I have a crf250 and would like to know the difference.

  • That bike is beautiful.

  • your chains is very tense

  • do you have any idea where I could find a master cylinder for a rear brake?I have a ktm 125 and need to replace mine.

  • @rideskisallday I have luck finding stuff on ebay

  • @groutaone okay thanks :)

  • wow that is fuckin' gnarley.

  • I'm not even a fan of 2 strokes, but I'd love to have that bike.

  • looks fantastic man great job . Hows it handle ?

  • @snickerdav Handles well, I'am happy with it

  • Keeping another honda 2 stroke alive god bless you, nice work, that swingarm looks camouflaged with the floor on that vid it is so clean! nice work!!

  • Awesome polish job!

  • @sammonsrandall Thanks

  • Thats a dream bike :) :)

  • how the f did you get that swing arm so polished

  • @gus122994 The trick is to first remove the coating on it, then you can get at the aluminum to machine polish it

  • Right now..4 strokes are saying.."..when I grow up.." , GREAT JOB!

  • @orphanmonkey1 Lol, thanks man

  • fuck me man, that is of its head

you could make a nice dime out of that one bro

    keep up the good work

  • @Xntrik1ne Thanks man

  • holy fucking shit i just got the hugest boner

  • Any special Polish you used? I want to make my pipe as shiny as your frame haha.

Your bike and videos are sweet by the way.

  • @hitandrun301 For polish I used this soft metal polish that comes in a big stick, the stuff thats made for machine polishing. I tried it on the pipe but it didnt do anything, maybe it would work with a different compound though. I appreciate you watching my vids, thanks bud.

  • beautiful bike man

  • you should keep the mid mount for the pipe off it makes it seem way more badass with the pipe shaking

  • if that was mine, first id sell my tv, then id put it in my living room, and then id quit my job so i can sit there all day and drool over it.

  • i want one.

  • this bike is awesome! very nice job

  • @dnestl Thanks man

  • the rad the plastics and the pipes are making the wigle wigle wigle wigle yeah!

  • where can i pick up machine polish

  • @DerekHofer You should be able to find what you need on ebay

  • Nice! I have the same pipe on my 96 cr.

  • This is a sick bike i love it... Looks and sounds awsome.......Gota love the 2 strokes

  • Hey I wanted to say that all 11 of your videos inspired me to do a cr 500 af conversion, so thankyou so much! This is my highschool project!

  • here is a question for you, will the latest generation CR450R rear fender and sideplates bolt to that subframe? the new sleek looking ones.

  • @MetricHotrodsdotcom Its not a direct bolt on, but it can be done with some mods to the bike, I'am thinking of doing the conversion this winter

  • its so clean and new and shiny as fuck.i bet it rides like a motherfucker

  • how did you get the swing arm so shiny

  • @motoxcrazyness Had to sand the coating off first then machine polish it

  • that bike is so clean!

  • never am i going to a four stroke two strokes fucking rule

  • Man that is nice

  • ..holy shiny....

  • the 5 people who dont like this dont have the ballz for a 500

  • its Called a dirtbike not a Cleanbike

  • I'll give you 6 grand for this thing cash. PLease!

  • wooow its clean nice job man

  • earthquake on wheels!

  • LOL look at that thing shake.. made me laugh, that thing looks REALLY fuckin powerful haha

  • How did you get the mirror finish on the frame & swingarm?

  • ive seen alot of af conversions but none that look as good, sound as good, or shine as well as yours. youve put some serious time into that. rip it up man!!

  • omgggg insane wats the top speed u think

  • @filmah17 At least 77 mph, check my CR500 af drag strip video

  • @groutaone has to be more dude a cr 85 does just about 70
