@YTFlover123 I wouldn't doubt that. I had a buddy (passed away now due to cancer) who audition for American Idol, and they told him that he was really good but not what they where look for. They want people to boost the ratings for the network. That's why they choose some exceptional singers to air and the horrible ones too. Anyhow, to them it's all about making money. So, a million dollar prize is nothing compared to what they made airing those contestants.

You should really do your research. David Choi's already released albums, gone on tours, and done promotions. You seem to think that the only way a musician can get his music on the market is through a label, and that isn't true. Some of the best musicians today started out as unsigned, without any sort of talent show boost. He's not just a "Youtube singer".
