well i'm a deaf swimmer and i have a late start then everyone else b/c i cant hear the horn go off, so ive gotta turn my head & watcht eh coach..but i still win whhoo!!
@glamgal981 You tank. But I thought the IPC allowed tappers for deaf swimmers? o.0
If there's one sport that doesn't discriminate, it's swimming. And everyone is so friendly!
(In my experience, anyway...I have no disability, but I didn't start swimming competitively until I was 15, so at meets I was really slow for my age, but my teammates have been really supportive thus far.)
@TsarApe thats true its not fair for those who only have one arm because everytime that person breath he lost a mili second of his speed because he will correct his body to swim straight again but this people who is incharge in classifying the athlete is recdiculously bias.
