actually, they came out with a game for the ps2 called Mega MAn ultimate collection that had mega man 1-8 and two Mega man Fighting games. i had it at one point it was really awesome, until we sold the ps2.

MegaMan 3 is my choice as the best MegaMan title, and one of the best games ever. It was the first MegaMan game I ever played, there are so many memories, and those are the things that are priceless. I particularily like the Wily Stage music in this game. Especially the 2nd and 3rd one. The 3rd one is demented in a good way. Mega Man 3 has some good music too. And so does MM5 and it's so underrated. Give Mega man 5 a listen

I love this music. MM3 was the first of the series I bought but it wasn't the last. I ended up buying 4, 5, & 6 for Nintendo, then I was given MM2 for Game Boy on my birthday one year. Years later I picked up MM8 in an EB Games store. I liked it and even though it had more technological advances it wasn't the same. Then I bought the Mega Man Anniversary pack and played all the games on it 'til my PS2 broke. Now I can't wait to play MM9

Just amazing. Mega Man 3's music is great and will always be amazing. Mega Man 2's music was and still is amazing as well. The intro music to MM3 and Wily Stage 1 and Protoman's theme are my favoritest in the series. Thank you very much!

actually most of the music for megaman 2 and 3 was pure win, especially 3, i remember leaving the title screen on for about 10 minutes just to hear the awesome intro. and ya, that wily castle music in 3 was awesome too.

Indeed. I think the reason why I like Wily Stage 5+6's music so much in particular is because it just sounds so dark and brooding, perfect for the last level of the game. Besides that, I'm a sucker for dark music. But yeah, the whole soundtrack rocks, as does Mega Man 2's. Man, Mega Man was in its prime back in those days. Where did it all go wrong?
