Yep it does... 2 sided only, bcos if it is 4 sided, it won't b user friendly for some function keys, it's quite kool though....

Do not buy the X1. Unless you actually like Windows Mobile don't get the X1 or the X2. Wait for the X3 instead when it comes out with the Android OS.

this review is not very useful, waste of 30 mins. He coulda let us see video taking, gaming, and he doesn't seem to know its features well. He did not test internet browser either...at least connect to wifi.

That is most likely because the phone here is a Sim Free / Unlocked phone and your one is Sim Locked to a certain Network.. ;)

@matthewfoong Well I am getting it for pay monthly (it comes out better) Personally I would get it anyway if I would have enough money to get it for p&g It has a pretty good deal (as in price and what you get) so I would get it cos it comes in much better price that most of the devices with those specs...

They have sorted all the problems out when they stopped selling it about 3 weeks ago becuase most of the people had many issues such like rebooting touch screen not responding and other stuff like that ... All the phones have been taken back to factory and have had os reinstalled and firmware update has also been relased.

Just got mine (on the day they were withdrawn from sale). Anyway I hope it will be good but been frustrating so far. Plug in for isync doesn't work and the picture transfer to the mac is hideous, nowhere as good as the Nokia. Come on SONY!!!!!

Um unless u want a good camera iphone is much better from what I have seen of friends i phones, but the camera is good. Sony has failed their mac customers, all we need is simple plug ins!!! they dont work.

I'ts pressure sensitive, in part 2 he used the stylus that SE provides with the SATIO, (in a wrong way, since you have to remove the cap like with a pen).

I really liked the look of this phone at first, but after seeing this review I am not impressed at all, no 3G, no app store, no multitouch, dodge menu's. Its basically just a good camera with really standard phone features, personnally i want something more.

does anybody know how to use the phone memory when receiving something by bluetooth? my phone is new with nothing on the memory, i tried sending something and it keeps saying memory full delete data... the phone memory is in use, that's why it says that. can anybody let me know how to change the settings so my received files are saved on memory card

there you can simulate a situation (like sending something by bluetooth).

also i have LG cookie kp500 ( fully touch screen) cool phone with great sound and design but it lacks 3g, wifi, gps, and 3rd party softwares. apart from that.. its a decent phone for its price... i wud recomend this or the SE G900 for basic touchscreen users. im using both now. they havent failed me.

same functions with the rest of SE phones.. nothing great apart from the camera upgrade. now i dont understand is the ridiculous price tag.. its costs us here in malaysia about RM3500 :P. thats like a managers 1 month salary.. jesus .. nobodys gonna watch movies on their phones apart from clips.. and 3.2mp-5mp cameras on phones i think is decent enough.. really i dont see much on this phone with that kinda price.. i use a SE G900 which is fabulous with its price.. RM600 = 5mp touchscreen.

You can watch youtube with the phone, however the internet browser is not free unless you get the phone on a deal which gives you free internet.

I think the internet browser is free as long as you're connected to a wi-fi connection... If you're not, you will most likely be charged using the browser. As for Youtube, yes, you can have full use of Youtube on it :)

in terms of technology and functionality satio is nowhere near iphone. i doubt even in next 2 years time SE or any other manufacturer can come up with something that is up to iphone standard.

It is true that it is a review, but he has left me with a cold feeling, which has but me off the Satio.

I really need something which:

- looks cool

- has access to loads of cool, bug-free apps

- has visual voicemail

- has threaded text-messaging

- an easy-to-use web browser

- an in-built music player (like my iPod touch)

- a phone which does not require a stylus or old-skool pointing device.

Are there any phones out there which can do all of this? I know the Satio doesn't.

It does do all that (except I have no idea about visual voicemail, that sounds like a waste of time anyway). If you're really into the music player part it may be worth looking into the sony ericsson aino, that's very similar to this but more music orientated.

Nokia 5530 does have updated S60v5 with kinetic scrolling. It's only doesn't work in main menu, but works in all lists and menues.

That's why asked - will satio come with updated S60v5 or not. Still i'm looking forward of 2,9'' symbian smartphone from SE. very hope they will make an analog to 5530 with better design and walkman inside.

No versions of s60v5 have kinetic scrolling, including this one.

As for SAT NAV, route66 should work, so should garmin, Ndrive, or Sygic, ovi\nokia maps, etc.

I really like the nav program that comes with the i8910 (Route 66) although the USA maps aren't that great.
