I just watched the movie.. i thought it was going to be mediocre but trust me the 3d glasses you'll wear will make the movie seem incredibly real. The trailer sucks in comparison to the movie.

Actually, I'm a pretty big fan of both (though the games are better, that's true). That's because I know that the movies have their own story, and are simply based off the game. It's the same thing with the show "True Blood" and the books they're based off of. They're completely different stories involving similar characters and situations. I've learned to enjoy both, but I guess that's too hard for some people.
For some strange reason I think no true resident evil fan will like this movie...I wonder how many of the main characters will die in the first thirty minutes of the movie this time?

The movies are eh in my opinion. They really have nothing to do with the games, and they mess up the story for the games. For instance, Wesker is running Umbrella in this movie, and that is not true in any Resident Evil history. he never ran Umbrella. It's just fucking up the good story that was in the games. 3-D is also over-rated and too many movies are doing it. I want to see this movie, but it'll probably suck.

We're die hard fans of the other ones (Resident Evil Apocalypse FTW!), so this should be fun too. And besides, if you want a movie based off the games, go watch Resident Evil: Degeneration. This movie series is getting way weird for my taste. I really hated the 3rd one. I love the game but wtf is this. This should be about zombies. Not about some mutated super human.

They did... it's called resident evil: degeneration. It was a piece of crap revolving around Leon and some chick named Angela. Claire was there for a little while too. Go watch that and please stop complaining about the other films. They're surprisingly better than the movie they tried to make off of the games.

They shouldn't even call these movies "Resident Evil".
They have very little to do with the game series itself and when they try to incorporate anything from it's source material, they crap on it by twisting and changing it so drastically that it ruins everything.
and what worse is that these movies are bad by any regular standard! The fact that they ruin an entire franchise at the same time makes it even worse!!!!
