Great tonal color! I think you should focus on taking more time with phrasing. In my opinion, the tempo sounds robotic. Relax more! Haha. Another thing is that in some spots you get too much of a core sound, try focusing on utilizing the entire bow, while listening for resonance in every single note. Another thing that would help you greatly is focusing on raising your elbow according to string level, and where you are in the bow. Remember, with less pressure, and more bow speed, you tone will
Good sound, phrasing, and articulation! Other than some small intonation slips, I would just comment on the rhythm. Sometimes, you slow down and speed up. Try practicing under-tempo with a metronome and work your way up to the original tempo. Then, while the metronome is on, take the time you would like to take in certain spots, but while the metronome is on. This will ensure that when you take time in certain spots, it will still be in the context of the original tempo. Best of luck!
People always use these camera phones and the sound quality is goddam awful - you know you can mix the audio into the video separately if you get a decent audio recorder? I suspect it would sound great live but there's a limit to how long you can listen with all the distortion.
To me you get bogged down in individual notes and lose the overall rhythm - the rhythm is the weak thing IMO. This is reflected in the bowing - keep the bow moving to define the rhythm. Very good otherwise.
It's not just played - you understood the music and I can hear some parts of the story I had been working on hard as well. This is very nice I think. For a great photography you don't need a brillant lens or technique but a good motive. On the viola it sounds really different but very nice. Tried to play this on viola once as well. Please go on with other partitas/sonatas.

I agree with Ellegin. The rhythm wasn't bad but the tempo at the beginning quickly changed as you got into the piece. When I play Bach, my teacher has me study up on the bow strokes of that time period and why they were the way they were. That will also determine why those notes are written that way. The overall playing wasn't very convincing but it was all around very well played. Many people believe Bartok is the hardest thing to play, but they never think how deep Bach really is.
careful with your rhythm, you're rushing in some places but slowing down too much on other parts. you may be doing this intentionally but it's a little much for bach. good luck

Really well played well done.

Good ! Je suis davantage dans Bach ici qu'en écoutant la version de DJSnare. (Par contre lui joue toute la pièce avec une reprise de la 1ère partie).
