You don't have to be able to split atoms to know that Dynamite Kid is hands down the greatest wrestler of all time. The only other wrestler that quite frankly can rival Dynamite Kid and match him move for move in terms of scientific wrestling and catch-as-catch-can wrestling would have to be the Dragon Ricky Steamboat. All the other great technical wrestlers know their positions are the in top ten, top 20 and top 50. The top two in my book will always be the Dynamite Kid & Ricky Steamboat.

He was such a fantastic worker. You can really see his influence not just on Chris Benoit, but on the entire industry. He was years ahead of his time.

As good as Dynamite Kid was, I also think that Jake the Snake Roberts is the best Wrestler in all of Wrestling history. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't be seeing such a great move like the DDT.
The Dynamite Kid is too much of a reminder of the perils of the sport. The Hall of Fame ceremony Is an uplifting night and a celebration of the industry.

Look at those piledrivers and diving headbutts starting at about 2:50,my gosh you won't see that in idiotic WWE or retarded TNA.Just intense.Wrestling used to be about the action in the ring,not about a bunch of old grey haired guys and bald guys like Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan talking about their glory days 15 years ago or ASSHOLE Triple H doing his dumbass comedy routine and hocking merchandise like he's on the shopping home network.I hate those assholes,because they hate wrestling in the ring.

@shaneanthonypearson1 unfortunately that will never happen. Vince knows the pressure he put on smaller guys, and pretty much every talent to use roids and look bigger back then. And Dynamite is so fucked up Vince wouldnt dare put him on one of his shows. All wrestlers ever were and will be to Vince are cogs in a wheel, especially back then. Get em on roids to look bigger, which turns into a drug and drinking habit for the pain. Then he tosses them away and ignores them while they wither away.

Like Bret Hart & Benoit, Dynamite Kid made others look great. He didn't need to win to be "over" his ability made him over. Not too sure if he ever beat Tiger Mask, but his matches are STILL classics. He is still revered becuase of his talent. I wonder how he would fit into todays circus of wrestling. He was never a great interview & hasn't got the size, but they eventually gave Benoit a title run I am sure he would have got one too.

there is a video called the best of the dynamite kid. i remember seeing it on the wrestling channel in the uk a few years back, i did record it but my sister recorded over it! anyway what im really saying is it should be out there somewhere so look for it, from what i remember its pretty amazing. ive been a fan of his since i was little and i rate him up with the very best, maybe a close second behind steamboat

I don't think this will ever happen.
The Dynamite Kid is too much of a reminder of the perils of the sport. The Hall of Fame ceremony Is an uplifting night and a celebration of the industry.
Seeing how the sport has ravaged one of the best ever isn't the way Vince would want to portray the WWE.
DK more than deserves it but I'm afraid he will never get it in his condition.

I first saw Chris in Calgary growing up and there's only one word for Chris "AWESOME" those where the days him, Bret, Davey, and many more great star that made wrestling what it is today

possibly the greatest of all time, I just finished Bret Hart's book, and when I reached Dynamite's downfall, it brought a manly single tear to my eye, so many of the best had such a tragic ending........and thank you for making this video

he was very abusive to his wife, he put a shotguy to her chin and till this day thinks there was nothing wrong with doing that, he drove his wife to a point of insanity to which she wanted to kill herself and her kids, he now lives in manchester i believe, and is in a wheelchair from back injuries and an has an enlarged heart from steroid abuse
