  • good shit for garbidge bin

  • @SuperSnegirek I know!!!!! LOL!!!!

  • @bredgeo1

Do you crack down nuts with this lovely stuff?

  • @bredgeo1

Where do you live? In States?

Where do you pick up all these stuff. I want this one too.

  • @SuperSnegirek Hey, No... I live in Ireland. And I got this unit from Japan. I have a friend there that bought it for me and shipped it.

  • @bredgeo1

In what city/town do you live?I want to move in Ireland. What is the best place to touch down?

  • @SuperSnegirek I am in Shannon... Best for you would be Cork or Galway!

  • @bredgeo1

I live in two places: Canada and Russia. But I am not a KGB agent. What do you do if it is not a secret?

  • @SuperSnegirek What secret??????

  • @bredgeo1

If not the secret, then what do you do? I mean where you work? What is your profession? ЯR

  • @SuperSnegirek Ahhhhh..... Customer support (Airport and Call Centre)... Shity minimum wage jobs, but hey... They are fun!

  • @bredgeo1

not bad...could be worse...as far as I know Ireland ran into crisis...

people are getting laid off every day or dont? Do you feel the layoffs wind?

  • @SuperSnegirek Oh yes! It has ran into crisis! I am being lied off (for the main company is closing down)... In June!!!! , So yes, out of work... in 4 1/2 months1

  • @bredgeo1

you kidding me:-))) you said you work as customer supporter in a airplain lot or i am mistaking?

  • @SuperSnegirek Not mistaking... Along with another job... But, it is a long story! Only a few months left!

  • @bredgeo1

Why do you collect cassette players? Do you like it or it is your business?

I am fan of tube amps and vinyl recordsЮЮЮ

  • @SuperSnegirek Love them!!!! Pure art (as for your tube amps)... And so much nicer than the stuff they make now!

  • Sure, cassette players have great very stylish design. But I like vinyl records 'cause they sound much better than CD, mp3. CD has digital dead sound trasformed by computer software.

  • @SuperSnegirek Hey, I agree for vinyl sound... I still use MiniDisc and all my 200 LPs are recorded onto MiniDisc, and I still listen to the LPs as LP on a turntable... The sound is so much more full. And cassettes are the next best thing. I also Have a VZ3500, VZ2500 and VZ2000 for my LPs.

  • @bredgeo1

What is the MiniDiscs? Earlier CDs?In what way do you contrive to get all these units? Where do you buy/get players? I want some....

  • @SuperSnegirek Minidisc was kind of like invented to replace the cassette. You can record like a cassette, earace like a cassette and re-use over and over a minidisc, like a cassette. but it is digital and compresses to the range of the human ear. Use a search engine to search for Minidisc and read up. If not, been the time frame where Minidiscs came along... they did not last long because the were then presented the MP3 players, and people used that more, even now.

  • @bredgeo1 I got surfed internet, I found a lot info on minidiscs. Minidisks are news for me 'cause I never knew about it before. I was not able buy this one 'cause they were not sold in USSR (I was born in USSR).

  • @SuperSnegirek Well... No, they came out after the change of USSR to the Republic. Here have a read of of Wikipedia... MiniDisc came out in 1992, but being not verry popular in the US and Europe, they did not make it to Russia. That is all.

  • @bredgeo1 In 1992 russians were so poor that nobody could buy overseas goods. Do you know it? Now when oil rises the life a bit better nut not much((

  • @SuperSnegirek a bit better nut ))) - slip of the pen -- nut=>but

  • @SuperSnegirek But now???? Now it is not too late, you could get a MiniDisc player and try them out!!!!!

  • @bredgeo1 I know but from where I can it?

  • @SuperSnegirek Would you lake a simple MiniDisc player, or one that is put into a old Boombox???? Like I did in the GF9595 and GF 308/

  • @bredgeo1 Did you mounted a minidisk unit into instead of cassette deck? Or somthing else? gf 308 doesnt exist, where is it from?

  • @SuperSnegirek Yes, I mounted the MiniDisc into the GF308 that only takes MiniDisc now (the 308 is a Japanese model, got from Japan)... And into the GF9595, that still takes cassette and now MiniDisc and cassette.

  • @bredgeo1

how did you do that? You have an electronic circuit?

  • @SuperSnegirek do you have schematics for electronic circuits?

  • @SuperSnegirek I tried to link the vids... But will not take it, just go to my channel, or type in GF 9191 HB/MD, Sharp 305 SBMD, GF 9595 HD/MD etc.

  • @bredgeo1 I watched your vids...as far as I understood you made/developed new special deck which combined MD and csssette functions?

  • @SuperSnegirek Yes for the GF9595... Because of the depth of the door, I could put the MD inside and leave the cassette and used phone-in (by bypassing the pre amp). For the others, I had to remove the cassette and then put the MD inside, using the tape buttons as the "On" "Off" power source, etc.

  • @SuperSnegirek I actually use all the internal parts of the Boomboxes and the MiniDisc with an extra head to align with the original head, and an extra transformer for the power... It took trial and error, but worked out in the end! Have made 4 up to now.

  • @bredgeo1 I cant imagine that you could do that without schems. Can you give me a vid of that equipment?

  • @bredgeo1 Well... I could not put the Wikipedia link, but when you go there, just type in MiniDisc.

  • Hey, They go for about $500US to $1000US (with shipping). I am not selling mine but I could get you one!

  • are you selling the gf100? how much?

  • Hee, hee, hee!!! As you can imagine Ed.... Neighbours do not give a crap about old radios.... And I do not put it too loud any-ways for I passed that age ;-)

  • So Brian, are the neighbours ok with this?

Very sweet lookin' GF 1000 though.

    Later
