Always loved the first scene. I'm glad that episode aired first instead of Old Dog With New Tricks because its a way better scene to introduce the main characters.

Well I'm not quite sure with what should have been aired first. As with 'Old Dogs' you have this nice introduction scene of CI5 with Cowley, which explains what is CI5 about (more or less anyway) and with 'Private Madness' they had a head over heels start without less explanations about CI5.

But actually I don't mind, as I think PMPD is feast for the eyes for us B&D fans :)

FYI, finally purchased the box set (all 57 episodes) from Amazon at an incredible 27 GBP. That's less than 50p an episode! Hów great is that?!

I'm currently wading through the complete Only Foold and Horses but in the New Year The Professionals will get my full attention...

Love watching these old shows, even for seeing scenery/locations/streets from way back, the fashion, the cars, basically the whole period, great stuff. Things just seemed better back then, can never understand why it feels that way but can't help harking back to old times, love it. As a kid watching this, I would have never understood it the way I do now and the banter makes a lot of sense to the whole setup, brilliant. Cheers.
