  • Any tips on Double Tonguing Lip slurs? I always seem to have trouble with that in this Piece. Especially at measure 78 & 79.

  • i cant believe he memorized it

  • HAS anyone ever played this on a natural eflat trumoet?

  • Great times! R.I.P.

  • I love this! Do you know which orchestra and conductor he is playing with?

  • this is absolutely amazing! this is one of the best performances of the hummel trumpet concerto i've ever seen!

  • Which orchestra and conductor is he playing with?

  • I'm playing this on my Flugelhorn. Good piece.

  • Wow spectacular performance, and on a Bb horn as well! *****

  • related to mark ridenour?

  • Fantastic trumpet playing ... love the real brassy tone. Shame the orchestra couldn't keep up in the last movement :(

  • ...no longer just a student [although musicians are always learning & perfecting their skills]

    B. Ridenour, having graduated from Julliard, is now playing with "The Canadian Brass"

  • he sounds like quite the advanced student.

  • FINALLY! Someone who plays it like a fricking trumpet!

  • LOVE IT

  • He was 21 at the time of this performance.

  • How old is he? He sounds great.

  • Very masculine approach, with lots of dynamics and hard pops on the double tonguing. Would like to know the notes and fingerings for alternating "fox calls" near the end, as you seem to vary from the standard somewhat. Interesting, also, that you chose not to do fast trills every time, and it sounded great that way.

  • Very nice performance!
