they actually considered invading Canada but decided against a total push because U.S. forces would have been so close.

We were on the ground afghanistan the same time (google jtf2). We went in even with-ought the go ahead from the UN. We in our small capacity (combined less than 100,00 full and reg force military) took on the toughest part of afghanistan. 10 times more deadly than iraq for combat troops. We did this because we thought it just, and did not agree with Iraq.

Afghanistan I can agree on under certain conditions... timetable (afghans want that), no permanent bases, rules of engagement stricter than Iraq, accountability for policies. Afghani military is actually coming along, and need to take over as agreed. I am actually in the reserve, and trying to get over there. I have a very good job and very good life, but this worth fighting for. I don't want to go there and die, or return and find out it was for false reasons.

Given Fox has honest debate, and the liberal media does not, why do they bother you? Does it bother you that Fox allows the Republicans to get an equal and fair opportunity to express themselves?

the liberals that fox brings on are not well known and/or very weak in argument and get yelled down by the louder hannitys and oreillys i.e. powers schwartz jane hall. fox totally misrepresents themselves as fair and claim they bring on liberals, but the other side barely gets a word in. and god for bid if anybody stands up to the fox news anchors, they are never brought on again i.e. larry johnson phil donahue jeremy glick, even tho they are just expressing opinion. fox is not responsbile news.

You obviously don't watch Fox. Fox regularly has the best voices the Democrats have to offer to argue their points...Turn on NBC, ABC or seeBS, and you will see liberal hosts interviewing liberal journalists, and once in a great while they will have a pseudo-conservative on that totally agrees with democrats (like Buchanan or Tucker Carlson).

Do you see your contradiction? You think Colmes (the liberal HOST) is winning against Bozell (actually you have it backwards)...You will NEVER see that kind of debate on establishment media. You WILL NEVER see a true Republican voice scolding a true Democrat voice...On Fox you get debate, the rest of the media you get nothing but lefties telling you what to think.

actually i do watch fox a lot. i watched it for a very long time at one point and got sick of all the neo con propaganda. i mentioned the majority of liberals that theyve brought on over the years. you dont know me, so dont act like you do. i watch other news channels and they dont yell at eachother, cut eachother off, and cut the guests mic like fox does. the thing that you dont get is that msnbc brings ppl on to give accurate news and info, not yell at eachother and base everything on opinion.

the whole point of news is to report the news, not yell at eachother and bitch and moan over whos right and whos wrong. fox runs their programs based on opinion, not fact, and opinion cannot be proved wrong, which is why they use it. yes of course colmes is winning the debate, and i know what he is, you dont have to point it out. he out debates all of them, and they have nothing to say. i DONT want to see that kind of thing on other channels, because its irresponsible and pointless.

tell me one "true democrat", other than the ones i mentioned, that has been on fox news to truely debate against another neo con, and that hasnt resulted into yelling and screaming and cutting eachother off. i have been watching fox news for 2 years now, and i havent seen a single neo con "scold" a liberal. liberals own the debates, and the only way the other side wins is by cutting off the liberal b4 they finish what they have to say. democrats speak the truth, and expose propaganda like fox.

Juan Williams, Mara Aliason nightly. O'Reilly frequently has liberals on to debate, and he gives them the "last word." Hannity and Colmes consistently has liberals on, and Hannity does not interrupt when Colmes gives them hand-jobs under the table.
Rarely, if ever, does the rest of the media have fair debate including the "true Republican" voice.

Murdoch is a smart man, and he realizes audiences want real debate. Murdoch realizes Republicans are more capable of being objective, and so he gives them voice...unlike the uber-left establishment media.

lol juan williams? you have got to be kidding me. anytime williams gets into a debate he agrees with oreilly and hannity, and hes a co anchor on fox news sunday and agrees with the neocons there as well. dont give me that bullshit. even if oreilly givs the last word, he still sneaks his own word in, and its usually a cheap shot. even if h&c have libs on, hannity yells over them and cuts them off. colmes doesnt interrupt anyone. hannity praises guys like ginrich, michael steele, etc. its sad.

why doesnt fox believe in quiet debates instead of fabricating information and screaming at eachother, and trying to silence whoever is telling the truth? when you watch fox you dont learn anything or get any right info, because all the commentary and news is mixed in with yelling, and you dont figure anything out. on msnbc, even if you hear one side, at least its the right side that gives the right news. fox never even has well known columnists or anything. their guests are like street bums.

all the guests i see on msnbc and cnn are well known columnists from newspapers with the highest of credentials ie newsweek, washington post, ny times, huffington post... all that fox dispises. what a suprise. i dont care about what murdoch does with hilary, i just know he is a propagandist and owns hundreds of media outlets to vent his bias views, and encourages his anchors to boast about the high ratings, but they only get that because of consistent fox news advertising all around the world.

by the way, what you dont get is that when you use a slogan like "fair and balanced" that fox news used b4, you are expected to be fair and balanced. msnbc and other so called liberal news stations dont bragg about being fair and showing voice to all sides, they just do their news. if you dont want to watch it dont, but dont complain about what they do. just because fox does something one way, doesnt mean everyone else has to copy them.

You must be joking. Chris Matthews and Tim Russert were both employed by ultra-liberal politicians. Keith Olberman is obviously even further left than even Chris Matthews...Tim Russert and Chris Matthews shows are dominated by leftists, or leftist journalists posing as objective journalists. Keith Olberman so rarely has on conservatives that it is obvious(NBC makes Fox look sane)

as i said before, msnbc, specifically countdown, is run as a news broadcast, not a debate matchup. keith reports the news and gives his liberal opinion. the reason fox news gets high ratings is bc its different from the usual news report, its yelling debates, cheap political shots, and character assassinations, which ppl love to see. and msnbc doesnt have a slogan like fair and balanced, so they arent expected to be left or right. they express their opinions opinions quietly and professionally.

and nobody takes fox seriously either... ppl just tune into to watch the yelling debates. watching fox news is like tuning into a soap opera with all the yelling and screaming, and everyone getting so upset, and making personal attacks on eachother. viewers love to see that kind of thing, dont you know that? fox is not news, it is opinion, and it will always get high ratings. if you think ppl watch fox for honest news, you are absolutely insane, and need a reality check.
