  • freakin' epic!

  • That´s what I call Super Rock!

  • rock and roll at his best ! !

  • saw them at the Marquee Club, Wardour St London SW1

    Halloween 1983

All came out with jack'o'lanterns balanced on their heads and then allz wilde

  • Also saw them live back in the day. Irving Plaza etc. Roman Gods lp is one of my all time faves. Still own the vinyl. Man, talk about staying power! Go Fleshtones!!

  • Sensational, woof woof woo :-)

  • saw them live last night! they know hot to rock and set the audience on fire like few others!

    Long Live The Fleshtones!

  • woof woof woo :-) Sensational xx

  • why werent they bigger, love em

  • great movie even better song

    love the fleshtones

  • Totally bad ass. The Fleshtones kill live.

  • all i can think about is that show I.R.S-THE CUTTING EDGE that peter zaremba used to host. to think MTV was cool at one time. yeah that's an old person comment lol, but there was some fun to be had back then. wow is this a great rock-n-roll song.

  • I guess by what I see below I consider myself pretty fortunate. Spent quite a bit of time with them at their rehearsal studio in NYC. Thought their version of 1000 LB Bee was incredible. Saw them live numerous times and went to Peter Zaremba's XMAS party in 1982 - He asked me to bring a video of the the "Brainiac" - 50s scifi. Bill the drummer great guy, Gordon played a killer sax, Keith and his maniacle tremelo Marek's never ending bass. Recall Peter's fave 60's 45 by the Kissing Cousins

  • I loved them in 1983 when I first heard them and by God if they still don't Rock my world 25 years later, and how many bands can you say that about? Not many to be sure. God Bless the Fleshtones and hopefully some day a new generation of music fans can look back and see what a brilliant band they missed out on.

  • one of the coolist bands ever.

  • I only saw them live once in NYC in the mid-80s. I was hanging with some friends of theirs who took me to this small sort of cabaret venue. At first I was, like, oh, crap, I'm gonna have to feign enthusiasm because I'm with friends of theirs, but they ROCKED! Met them backstage and really nice, cool guys. Cheers to them wherever they may be now!

  • You were very fortunate to have catched them in the 80s. I'm not that lucky. However, they're still going strong. Check them out on MySpace. I think they're touring in Europe now.

  • THIS is Rock and Roll!

  • Roman Gods One of the BEST LPs ever.

  • I always wanted to be Pete Z. "Oh Jane you slay me" I remember him on the original 120 minutes. SuperRock and Power Stance man.

  • Peter Zaremba is the coolest frontman dancer and harmonica/60's organ player ever to come out of the garage band scene. Great song that they don't seem to like to do anymore.

  • Yeah, it's a shame they don't do this one. Any idea why?

  • I just read 'Sweat' the book about the Fleshtones. It's an amazing read, one of the best band biographies I've read!

  • This song COOKS!

  • Great live band - always put on an amazing show. I saw them a lot in NYC during the 1980's in NYC - The Ritz, Irving Plaza, Peppermint Lounge.

  • Your uncle (Jan) Marek is on of the best bassists I've ever heard. Marek rocks!!

  • thats my uncle playing bass

  • Well your uncle is a motherfucker of a musician. I've been in to them for 30 years.

  • I saw the Fleshtones in 1982 and 1983 at HEAVEN a then nightclub in downtown Pittsburgh and they really RIIPPPPED!! and blew the place out as they continue to do at the 31st Street pub when they come to Pittsburgh in 2007. I really thought they would be huge because they really have the party garage vibe down better than anyone.

  • A Fleshtones show is an experience like no other.

  • When I was a kid I wanted Keith Streng's hair.

  • Hey man... What is this place?

  • what is this place is john doe and X getting ready to tear into a new set from urggg.

  • Sensational :-)

  • classic

  • I moved to NYC in 1978 because of this band. I was in love with Zaremba, and was sort of a fuck buddy to Pakulski, shown here in good form.

  • I'll get to see 'em in Chicago in June!

  • Please tell Zaremba BIKINI GIRL says hi, if you get a chance.

  • Is he an approachable guy? Furthermore, do fans get a chance to talk after the show?

  • He's nervous but loves to hear from fans. Bring a gift basket of useful stuff for tired musicians. If you contact him in advance, I bet the band and their family members would like to meet you. After the show, they are very tired, generally, I think.

  • Do you know the last time they did I Was a Teenage Zombie?

  • no, sorry, i do not know

  • yes he is. they are all like a part of the crowd. not standoffish at all.

  • Gimme some Hexbreaker ~ baybee!

  • One of the BEST live bands EVER....Period.

  • You've got that right, brother...

  • They were just about number one in NYC for at least 5 years. None of their recordings do them justice. They got burned out quickly due to the Red Star fiasco.
