There is only 1 quran and so only 1 Islam. A muslim should follow the quran and the sunnah of the prophet Muhammad pbuh. Do not divide Islam into sects. Look what happened to christianity. Remember the devil wants to divide and conquer. Salam.
SUFIS are the blessed..........this idoit adoubler is Al Shabaab who are killing Innocent people in Somalia... they committe suicide and kill hundrends of people in the name of Islam.......Godd bless the sufis
(continued).....then the prophet (saw) said to me, "you are part of me and i am part of you" (anta minni wa ana minka) whereupon i bgan to hop behind jafar.
it is related by ahmed in his musnad (1:108) and ahmed ibn shakir declared it sound (sahih) in his riyadh. also related by others with sound transmission all theway to muhammad al baqir but we dont need to go into that here.
what is important here is to see that such dancing and singing and banging of the drum for joy of being with the prophet (saw) was around at the time of sayidina muhammad (saw) and he did not prohibit it or condemn it. if yu are doing such things for pleasing the ego, for wordly and lustful happiness then yes one can argue it is wrong. But when doing these things for sheer love and veneration of Allah aza wa jal and sayidina muhammad (saw) then it cannot be said it is wrong.
when the prophet (saw) travelled from mecca to madina did the people, men women and children, not praise him by singing madeeh (praises/poetry) about him and also playing the drum??? they sang: "tala al badru alayna, minthaniati 'l-wada' wa jabashukru alayna, mad'a lillahida'...." "as the full moon rose over us from the valley of wad'a, gratitude is our obligation as long as any caller calls to Allah"...
yes this happenned and it is well known. and was the prophet (saw) not happy at this? did he ever tell the people what they did was wrong or to stop?? people need to open their hearts and fill it with the love of sayidina muhammad (saw) instead of saying they are muslim and trying in every way to themselves forget the prophet and also making others to forget him (saw) may Allah ta'ala guide us all.
I first heard of Sheikh Boorai in 1978 as a student in Mecca Al Mukarramah. His recordings were a comfort to my heart and I am thankful to ALLAH for allowing me to put a face to the name. May ALLAH Bless him and his loved ones. I have been benefitted by Sheikh Boorai's work.
Remember that the average IQ in Sudan is 72 (given UK's 100). This means that most people will be able to open doors, but might have difficulty using kitchen appliances. To that we must add poverty, inbreeding, a culture that would make Stalin blush and the worst kind of brainwashing (islam).
And you expect them to think and act rational? Get over it. It's not going to happen.
The sad fact is that this applies to almost all muslims.
Sufis do NOT pray to another God. And I don't see any dancing - swaying from side to side, sure, but that's not dancing. I happen to think this is a very beautiful dhikr. You happen to disagree. That's ok. The world is big enough to contain our disagreements.
SUFIS DO NOT PRAY TO ANOTHER GOD! They pray to the Shaytans and Jinns that appear before them after they reach a state of 'trance' (possesion)...
We had this problem in my country Somalia but hopefully Sufism is gonna die with our current batch of seniors as the younger ones are guided...
Maybe we'll just keep ticket stubs from the sufi parties they used to attend to remember them instead of building a FREAKING mosque on top of their graves...
3elikum assalum, the person at the end is Sheikh Abdelrhium Elboray, he passed away about 3 years ago. he had opened many shcools to teach islam and the Quran.
this nasheed as well as hundered others were written by sheikh Elboray, rahmoh Allahh. in this madeeh Sheikh Alboray descriped surrahs of the Quran to the camels. he used that metaphor in a sophisticated way on how taking care of them now, meaning reciting, memorizing, and live by their guidance, will help you later in the here after.

Islam in Sudan has always been spiritual and imbued with sufi traditions. hence it was tolerant, inclusive and open-minded. militant, salafist Islam has no place or future in our beloved and diverse country.
Wow,so simple yet soo powerful and a summit of eloquence. Also so dignified and noble.I hope it will never get corrupted by cheap"modernism",as we see in much of the nasheed-madeeh scene these days. This is a treasure, give us some more, may Allah bless you...
Ma shaAllah,Islam is so beautiful, clean and alive. This piece is a triple witness to the beauty of Islam,The Sudan and Arabic poetry.May Allah bless Sh.elbore3i and the Madeheen.WE want more...

I think we might be a bit harsh here.

Keep an open mind. Islam came to Sudan through the Sufi tariqas. It's a beautiful thing!
Kassofan 4 years ago
yeah so does islam tell us to sing or dance or move our bodies that way?
or does islam tell us to pray to someone else apart from god like what all sofis do
so is that islam
